Took my mom for brunch. I had been once before and it was nice. This time was not as great. Mom got like warm water for her tea and my french toast was VERY soggy in the middle so I had to send it back (I have never sent anything back in my life). Our waiter Dylan was great and very attentive.

A wonderful dining experience! We were pleasantly greeted at the door and escorted to the specific table we had requested using the online reservation system. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The sommelier, John, was most pleasant and knows his stuff! He skillfully described several bottles of wine at varying price points, and directed us to what I feel was a real "value" wine. Don't hesitate to ask for his assistance in selecting that bottle that is just right for your table. Out waiter, M Scott, was great! He was most pleasant and had a full and informed understanding of the menu and the evening's special selections. A real professional! As to our meal, it was of the high quality we have come to expect and enjoy at Lindey's. The Australian Lamb, enjoyed by two at our table, was excellent and prepared as requested. The night's Swordfish special entree was a real treat, cooked to perfection and not overwhelmed by its accompaniments. Thanks, Lindey's and your excellent staff, for a great night out.

Fabulous restaurant - great food and service. We always love to come here knowing we will great great service and exceptionally wonderful food.

They don't have all that awful music that is played at Cameron's restaurants.

Our salads and meals were delicious. Hubby’s strip steak was a bit tough but my filet was perfect. Service was slow but we enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Lindey’s. It was noisier than I remembered from our last time there. A bit difficult to hear each other’s words unless we leaned toward each other. French bread pudding was excellent for dessert. Overall I’d say 4 stars....knocking it down a star for the slow service and tough steak.

Excellent all around. It was my Mom’s 60th Birthday and they were so fantastic. Subtle, but made sure she felt special. The food and drinks, as always, were amazing.

We drove from Toledo, OH, to celebrate our son's 20th birthday. We loved the place and the food was very good. Our waiter, Mitch, was really kind, polite, and attentive. We had a very good time.
One thing that I noted, though, and have to agree with some of the reviews I had read, was that even though we had booked a table in advance, our table was not ready by the time we got there. The restaurant was not busy at that time and there were plenty of waiters working on other empty tables. The first thought that I had was that the reviews were right. Apart from that, we would certainly come back.
Thank you very much!

Lindey’s never disappoints. They have the best brunch in Columbus. In addition to perfect food for all meals, Lindey’s has the friendliest servers around. It’s a gem in German Village and we will be returning again and again.

Promptly seated even though I was 20 min early. Food excellent, service perfect, environment comfortable, nice, and not stuffy despite the quality of the restaurant. Only complaint is that I made reservations 2 weeks in advance and was seated 1 table away from the door and right next to the greeter stand. All restaurant traffic directed by our table and next to the door while outside temps were in single digits. Seems to me that these tables should be reserved for unexpected arrivals, overflow, or emergency seating; not for those who made reservations far in advance.

This is one of my favorite places for happy hour or a date. I had the merele mushroom soup and truffle ravioli, both were amazing. If you are looking to save a little money go for happy hour and get some drinks and appetizers.

This was my first time dining at Linsey’s and it was phenomenal. The service started out a little shakey but that could be due to the fact that the restaurant was slightly busy. As dinner went on, the waitress became more friendly and things seemed to move quicker. The food was delicious and the drinks were even better. Decently priced. If you are on a budget, this is definitely not a place where you want to eat all the time. But it’s nice for a once and a while meal. Overall great experience.

The farm board was very tasty. The Cobb salad was crisp and delicious. The entree was good, but not exceptional. My steak was done to my liking though it lacked flavor. Likewise, the mashed potatoes were bland. At least the asparagus had the expected zing. Dessert was a very mediocre brownie, a scoop of coffee ice cream, and chocolate sauce. To be fair, everyone else in my party enjoyed their food with several compliments directed to the wait staff.

This is the second time we have dined at Lindey’s and we were impressed again! The food, the atmosphere and service were all so wonderful. Our server was helpful, timely, and even mentioned the available discount for having Ohio Theatre tickets that evening. Thank you! We will definitely be visiting again on our next weekend in Columbus!

Other than the hair in my salmon, the lack of service from our server after the hair was found, the need to hurry up and order by our server, the valet neglect not helping with the car service, the extremely high noise level, the okay food, and the high price, I guess if you enjoy these amenities you would select this restaurant. However I will say the woman that responded to my dangling salmon hair offered my some soup and was attentive, but it did not make up for the rest of the dining experience. With so many fine dining offerings in Columbus this will never be on our list again.

All of the above. My favorite restaurant in Columbus. Food is always impeccable but the atmosphere is just as inviting. My husband and I have gone to Lindey’s for 8 years and even had our rehearsal dinner there. The best french onion soup we’ve had, a great variety on the menu and their french press coffee is always hot and delicious.

Lindey's is a marvelous standout in a city that's otherwise awash in cookie-cutter "group" and faux-trendy restaurants. It is professionally managed, guest-centric, and absolutely charming, if not a bit "old school" (which, in my book, is a very good thing!). In all of Columbus, there are a handful of notable restaurants (I can only think of one or two others), but Lindey's carries on their tradition of very good food, well- and professionally-served, and in a delightful environment. Our friends and family in the area agree with the assessment that "Simply stated, Lindey's is for the discriminating -- very good taste with a casual, but chic flair." Very gracious, indeed.

We chose Lindey's for lunch while on a road trip to Cleveland and it's convenient location off the highway. What a pleasant surprise to find such a great neighborhood place with great food, ambiance and service. We will return anytime we are in Columbus!

I had a very positive experience with the restaurant staff and food quality. I was not impressed with he valet service. They were very slow and the line of people waiting for their vehicles inconvenienced people sitting in the front of the restaurant and bar area.

As always, Lindey’s did not disappoint! We always try to stop by when we’re back in town over the holidays for a romantic date night. We live in New York and are always impressed with the quality of food, wine and service that Lindey’s brings to Columbus. It puts many restaurants in the big apple to shame. This visit, we tried the Ahi Tuna for our app and it was absolutely divine! Fresh, delicious and coupled with a bit of wasabi for the win. Main course was Steak Frites and Crab Cakes, with a recommended wine from Spain to pair. We were in heaven!

We’ve been to Lindey’s about 2-3x/year but this time the wait staff were overworked and obviously disorganized...late drinks..late order taking..delayed delivery.
Despite all that, we love Lindey’s and will return again and again
