Lindey's is a high-energy, white tablecloth restaurant serving the finest American cuisine in an upper east side New York bistro setting. Nestled in historic German Village, the design incorporates original artwork, bentwood chairs, copper topped bars and hardwood floors.     Felt a bit rushed. Food was good but not great and for some reason they love to add a mountain of potatoes to the dishes. I was surprised by the portion size, clearly quantity over quality.

    We were on the patio which is absolutely beautiful and quiet even though it was busy while we were there. The food and service is always top notch. Lisa was our server and she determined right away that the white napkins were going to make a mess of our black slacks and immediately brought us black napkins. Lisa is very friendly and professional. She provided great service. We’ve been Coming to Lindy’s for over 30 years. It’s the best.

    My wife and I wanted 1 of everything on the brunch menu. (everything sounded so good). We were very happy with out choices and enjoyed the ambiance. Would definitely visit again.

    Took my parents to brunch at Lindey’s and we all agree that this place is top notch. Our waitress was amazing and fun, we loved sitting outside, and the food was absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough!

    It has been nine years since our last visit to Columbus and one of the first priorities was making a reservation at Lindey’s. It was just as good as the first time we were there, worth the drive on its own.

    Always a great experience at Lindey’s! Patio is so nice, great atmosphere, food, drinks and service. I had the salmon and it was so good, my son had the fillet and said it was great. My husband has a pork chop and said it was delicious.

    For almost 30 years I have dined at Lindey's and never been disappointed. Last evening was no exception! I took two of my friends who were celebrating their 81st birthday and we were able to find a table out on the patio. My guests (and I) were thrilled. The food: lamb chops, risotto, and angel hair pasta were superb. Add to all that, the chop salad with arugula, the wine, beer and cocktail was followed by desserts to die for / to live for!!! The incredible surprise for all of us was our server, Porter, who was patient as we decided what we were going to order, had a wonderful sense of humor, and regularly checked in with us to see how everything was going. My one regret is Lindey's only serves French Pressed coffee which I do not care for and missed having a cup of decaf with my dessert. Maybe I could bring a thermos of decaf coffee in my purse next time :)

    Food was amazing! Service was great. My daughter picked for her birthday because she thought it looked really cute and reminded her of a place she visited in NY. We sat on the patio which is beautiful with a small koi pond. She got a free dessert for her birthday. Will definitely be going back.

    First off I have to talk about that beautiful patio! It's the most gorgeous place to eat in Columbus, blooming flowers lush greenery everywhere! J love that the tables aren't so close together that you can still have a semi private dining experience. The calamari and shrimp appetizer was delicious. Lightly breaded and tender and choice of two dipping sauces were good! We chose the pecan encrusted chicken salad and it was good. Only thing I could recommend is that they don't keep the salad chilled in the plates because the lettuce was frozen on the bottom and wilted. I loved the 2 Vinaigrette choices that were offered.

    Awesome patio dining. Bread service, firm crust with herb butter. Lamb chops with extraordinary "crispy potato pave". Reasonable wine by the glass. Finished with white chocolate pot de creme. Combine above with Jade's perfect service. Impressive!

    My 2 friends and I celebrate our Autumn birthdays each year at Lindey’s. It is always enjoyable. The meals and service are top notch. It is a well maintained venue with tradition and history in Columbus’s German Village.

    Went to Lindey's to celebrate a birthday, and food was absolutely delicious! Food was presented beautifully and cooked with incredibly high quality of meat and ingredients; we had beef tornados so soft they melted in our mouths and delicious crab cakes with green beans and aoli and a very creamy and tasty lobster bisque. The ambiance is also very nice and elegant, and service was exceptional. I would highly recommend!!!

    Everything was great except the hostess outside. She was very putout asking about the terrace and I feel like she placed us in the traffic path intentionally. I haven’t spent my sons birthday with him in more than 10 years and the evening was a constant barrage of seating, customers in and out to leave and be seated and to go to restroom. Stressful with all of the extraneous things.
