They’ve done a lot inside the restaurant in regard to Covid safety. Food was good but a bit over-priced. You have to expect that at Lindey’s
Outstanding service and great food! We will come back to Lindey's.
We had lunch salads and cocktails. Lovely day and atmosphere. Slow service, but that’s everywhere these days. The food was good, we had the steak salad and the nut crust chicken salad, but not remarkable or especially flavor
In our OpenTable reservation we requested outside seating only; the reservation was made. When we showed up, we were told the restaurant doesn’t take reservations for outside. We think that should be clearly delineated on the restaurant’s web page.
It was we expected for the caliber of a five star restaurant.
Lindey’s is always a place to go for great food and ambience. Last night was no exception. All four of us loved our meals (halibut, salmon, pork, and lamb). Our server, Travis, was very attentive and friendly. The meals are a bit pricey but, you won’t be disappointed with the quality of the food.
Great waiter, had good food. Overall good experience
We loved the beef carpaccio, one of the best I have had and well seasoned and the drinks were phenomenal (spicy margarita amazing!!!). Our server, Jess, really made our evening. She was sweet, funny and inviting. Now entrees were where it fell short for me. I ordered the halibut and a smaller portion of the linguini with spicy cream sauce. My date ordered the filet. The sauce on the filet was great, the steak to be med-rare (communicated more on the rare side) was over cooked. The linguini with spicy cream sauce was only spicy, not seasoned at all so it totally missed the mark even though sold as a staple on the menu for a long time. The halibut was good, I loved all the additions to it but the fish itself was dried out and overcooked but a beautiful presentation and everything surrounding it was wonderful. Overall we were underwhelmed with the entrees which makes for a not so great culmination. I would try again but probably be very specific (overly specific) when we order we don’t like dry or overcooked food.
Went to Lindey's for my Fiancé's Birthday and the food was excellent! This is my second time here and they never disappoint! Will be back soon!
I had a wonderful meal, exceptional service, very enjoyable! Will be back!
Great experience and wonderfully beautiful patio! One person’s steak was not quite perfect but everything else was superb! And thank you for the complimentary dessert as it was my birthday.
Food was not up to usual standards so slightly disappointed.
I just feel again they are slipping. Just NOT customer focused. Seems like they are WAY more interested in their bottom line than attending to the customer. I realize times are crazy --- but.... they should just be better than they've been.
Dinner was amazing- service was great! We ate outside- and were in the corner by the bar. The mosquitoes were pretty bothersome. Maybe the plants around the wall, not sure. We even had bug spray, still got a lot of bites.
Excellent food and service! We ate on the patio which was just a fantastic setting,
Very comfortable atmosphere without feeling crowded, noisy or rushed. Food was excellent as was the service. They gave us the choice of dining inside or on the patio.
Have been going here since they opened. Have had wedding lunches, anniversary dinners, birthday dinners, and just regular visits. IT NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Thanks for another great evening!
Enjoyed the patio, bronzini was amazing. Kelly did a great job of checking in and pacing our meal. Lovely
Very noisy. Couldn’t even have a conversation. That is in part due to the necessary partitions, but know that you cannot have a conversation.
Great food and service as usual.
Lovely brunch! Lobster bisque was a bit disappointing, but everything else was amazing!
50th Anniversary celebration. Service and food was excellent
Always a favorite! This restaurant is a neighborhood gem!
We celebrated our 14th Anniversary at this location and were pleased with the service and the excellent meal. The server made great suggestions and was very cheery and made the experience even more enjoyable.
Excellent service from Daniel.
As always, the food and ambience were wonderful.
Unfortunately, our entrees were brought to the table before we were at the halfway mark with our appetizers. It was not a crowded evening; just bad timing. Very unfortunate, crowding the table, obliging us to choose which dish to eat cold, causing us to feel rushed, and so on.
We had just a short wait to be seated but the food came out so fast and was absolutely incredible. Amazing food, amazing service, beautiful location!
wonderful evening!!! Waitress, Hannah is outstanding! You should have her TRAIN ALL YOUR WAIT-STAFF!!
The meal, ambiance, and service were great. We have been aware of the restaurant for years, but since we are from out of town, had not had a chance to try it. Finally we tried it last night and were very pleased.
First time eating at Lindey's. Outdoor seating and ambience were exceptional. Food was DELICIOUS! Server was sweet and personable. It was my birthday and they even gave me a free dessert with a birthday candle to go. Amazing!
Loved celebrating the Duck football victory over the Buckeyes at Lindey’s. A real culinary treat for all foodies who need a break from the heavy midwestern fare yet continue the wonderful Midwestern hospitality.
We haven’t been to Lindys in a long time because my husband likes trying different places but it was my birthday and I remembered how wonderful Lindy’s is!
The tuna tartare was so delicious- I would return just for that!
My tournedos was absolutely perfect- especially with the mashed potatoes and asparagus- although it was just barely warm - I didn’t care.
The service was perfect and my husband’s fish special was extremely delicious.
A little noisy but well worth the trip!
Our waiter was a little slow. Could be he just had a lot of tables. We were pleased with the alcoholic beverage. We were thrilled that there was valet parking! The food, except for the apple bread pudding was delicious. Thanks for a great dining experience.
Great Eggs Benedict!!! Not overly crowded during OSU game. Very enjoyable setting, and food and service all outstanding.
Everything was fantastic! Service, atmosphere, and food! One of the best brunches I ever had. Can’t wait to go back.
Great time. Lindey’s is always a must go to when in Columbus. Wait staff was excellent.
Ate on the patio...perfect conditions and ambiance. Food and service were excellent. Definitely heading back.
Perfect anniversary spot. Weather permitting, try for a spot on the patio or rooftop seating.
IMO, it ain't what it used to be. I've been a patron over the last 35 years and the last couple of experiences have been lacking. Most recently joined two other couples to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We were seated 20 minutes late (on a Wednesday evening) and probably never would have been called from the patio bar if I hadn’t checked with the hostess. Had a table at the back corner of the patio which was nice though ended up in the dark before requesting lights be turned on. $12 glasses of wine, dried out pot sticker appetizer. Other appetizers were good. Steak ordered medium rare was bloody rare and nothing special cut-wise. Other entrees were reportedly good. Our niece called ahead and ordered a bottle of prosecco we never would have seen if I hadn’t asked. They did comp a post mortem for the table in recognition of the birthday. Sat with empty cocktail/wine glasses for quite some time and waited a long time for the check. Overall, spotty, disinterested service. Lots of competition in Columbus now and we’ll likely visit many of them before trying Lindey’s again.
