Lindey's is a high-energy, white tablecloth restaurant serving the finest American cuisine in an upper east side New York bistro setting. Nestled in historic German Village, the design incorporates original artwork, bentwood chairs, copper topped bars and hardwood floors. With its exciting and vibrant atmosphere, Lindey's has three main dining rooms, four private party rooms and an award winning outdoor courtyard that has been voted the best patio in Columbus.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus. Typically the service is very good but this night it was lacking. Despite the slow service, misinformation about the special and the attitude of the waitress we will definitely be back.
We dined at Lindey’s to celebrate our anniversary. Lindey’s is a favorite of ours and really only go there for special for occasions. It is always really good. Wouldn’t mind a few Variations to the menu though, seems like it doesn’t change.
From Chicago- we try to come for a meal when we visit our son and are never disappointed. The setting is classy, service always impeccable and food delicious. Always a reliable place to go. Love the German village area as well
Birthdays, Anniversaries and Patio Fever spent at our favorite place❤️ Goodbye patio until next year.
The ambiance inside will carry us through. Love, love this place!
Service is the best in the city...regardless of what 614 magazine says (Roosters is #1 and Lindey's is #2...Really? Roosters!!!) Aside from service that is the gold standard, the foot is always so good, and the wine is top shelf. For a very special evening, Lindey's is a guarantee choice.
Lovely Brunch. We love the food from delicious eggs Benedict to the “Breakfast” we were all very happy with our meal & plenty of time to enjoy our time together.
This was are first time at brunch. Six of us had great meals! The food was delicious! The service was quick. Loved my Bloody Mary! We will definitely be back for brunch!
Classy and on point, good food, champagne and service
Celebrating an anniversary and sat out on the patio. Outstanding atmosphere, service and food.
The food was excellent and our server was very accommodating to suggest 1/2 portions for those who didn’t want a large meal.
However, when the server was asked to bring our bill, the server became very short and ‘put out’ — the mood changed. What could have been an enjoyable occasion, was now spoiled by our server’s behavior.
We all enjoy Lindey’s but it will be awhile before our group returns.
Lindey's is superb. Wonderful old school atmosphere, quiet so you can have a conversation, and outstanding food. We had a small mixup over the wine we ordered (they brought us a more expensive bottle that I didn't catch before it was opened) and the manager did well by us and only charged us for the bottle we ordered. I approved the bottle when shown, so they didn't have to do this, but it was very nice that they did.
Happy hour at the bar has to be the best bargain in Columbus. 1/2 price on all glasses of wine, beer, and cocktails and 1/2 price bar menu. Simply great!
I find most places in the Short North to be pompous and overrated. Lindey's is neither. Truly a gem in Columbus.
A staple for our anniversary that we don't plan on changing but service was a tad slow. They appeared very busy and possibly understaffed.
Everyone enjoyed themselves. They had never been to Lindeys or Columbus for some. Very happy.
Good food, lovely table that offered a semblance of privacy for 5 people with a lovely view of the patio. Your staff was fantastic, and has a nice sense of humor.
Lindey’s is consistently a quality experience at every touch point!
Lindy's is my favorite restaurant in Columbus. For Sunday Brunch last week it was really lovely; I asked for a front room window table and they were able to accommodate the request. The day was sunny and the front room was fairly quiet. I really like my steak and eggs cajun Benedict, although it was too much food with no room for dessert. The only thing I didn't care for was the "frozen" Bellini; way too sweet and I really don't like frozen drinks, I'd rather have had champagne and straight pureed peaches, Oh Well.
Lindy's is still number one in my book.
Great food, excellent service!
Excellent food and service!
Went to brunch with my daughter for Dad's weekend at OSU. Place was great, and food always good.
Beef was perfection. Waitstaff are unsophisticated. Potatoes are powdered.
The weekend was our 15th law school reunion (homecoming at OSU). Everything was great, but the place was so packed that the food took forever. Otherwise we had great service and delicious food.
Engagement celebration lunch
Amazing! Great experience and our waiter Chris was fantastic
Love the patio!!!
Lindey’s is a very nice establishment. From the valet to our server Nathan to the bartender Ian. Overall wonderful experience
Went to Lindey's for our 25th wedding anniversary. Perfect place with amazing food and atmosphere.
Lindey's is always great food, great service, great drinks...in the 29 years I have been going to Lindeys' I have never had a bad experience, never. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion not just a celebration. It's the best!
We really enjoyed having Sunday brunch on the patio.
Sat outside on the patio and it was beautiful. We arrived early and the host was happy to seat us ahead of our reservation time. Server was a bit aloof but no real issues. Food quite good.
Consistently amazing food and service! The halibut special was incredible...I’ve never had any food there that was less than fantastic.
Our server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu choices and was spot on in her recommendations for dinner. The food was amazing. We dined outside in the patio area and found the atmosphere was wonderful.
It’s a nice place. Portions were a little small but I expected that. My wife’s salad would have been better with a vinaigrette instead of just grapefruit juice.
All in all I would go back.
We had a great meal and the service was outstanding. While we were there to celebrate our anniversary, the main dining room was a bit loud at the 6:30 seating on a Friday, but they offered several times to try and find us a quieter table. We were more than half way through dinner so we stayed where we were. We’ll definitely be back soon, but maybe on a different day or time.
Our meals were very good. That said, nothing special that stood out. Just a steak and fries. Nothing that especially excites me about the steak. Overpriced for what we got.
Wonderful night on the patio.
Beautiful tranquil courtyard with good food and attentive service.
What a memorable night on their beautiful patio! We started with the carpaccio which was short salt a bit but had an aioli that was delish. The bread was classic and good. The branzino fish was excellent sides ok the beef tournedos were good the chive mashed potatoes were amazing!! Crime brûlée was good sugar crust a tad too thick. The recommended Stony Hill Cabernet was a let down- bottle didn’t have much life left at all. Wouldn’t have wanted to dine inside especially in front room was super loud- other rooms seemed better but patio was magical!
