Christmas Eve Dinner
New Year's Eve Dinner
Could not have asked for a more.perfect evening for al fresco dining. Loved it.
This was one of the best overall dining experiences we have ever enjoyed. Everything was perfect, we could not have asked for more.
Took my wife for her Birthday. It’s one of her favorite places to dine. We sat on the patio which was perfect. The only two issues were, very slow service. Unnecessarily long 15 minutes for drinks... and nearly one hour for our meals. Not sure if the issue was our server or the kitchen since it was not nearly as busy as I’ve seen it before. A group of men were at a table and felt the need to speak so loudly for everyone to here their conversations. Food was good though. We skipped dessert after it took the server 12 minutes to retrieve desert menus.
It's always fun to dine at Lindey's. Great food, excellent service, and a very special setting in German Village combined make this restaurant truly special!
After nearly 30 years what can I say? I can't imagine Columbus without Lindey's.
My wife and I decided to visit this historical landmark of a restaurant and were not disappointed. Great food, very elegant and very good service! Can't go wrong!
Every time Lindey's is perfect - from the food, to service, to atmosphere - it is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The Australian Lamb is my favorite and I don't even like lamb - it is perfectly prepared and perfectly cooked.
Always so much fun at Lindeys! I had a 6:30 reservation, but really wanted to sit outside! We arrived early, and the hostess was very accommodating, and fixed us up!
Celebrating a friend’s 50 at our favorite place! Thank you for always living up to the BEST place for great food, fun, and service!
We haven’t been to Lindey’s in years! We were pleasantly surprised by outstanding food and incredible service. We will be back. Patio looked extremely inviting but it was a touch too humid to ask for seating there. We won’t wait so long to come back!
Alissa our server is great. Very attentive, informative, and involved.
Crab&Egg is really good❤️
It was awesome and always consistent!
Lindey’s is great - don’t get me wrong - but there is clearly room for improvement.
You might want to do something about the ice-cold reception served up by the two hostesses last Friday evening. We were a party of three - my college-age son and his girlfriend, and myself...and when my son approached the hostess stand to announce our arrival? Think “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and the host encounter at that restaurant in Chicago. It was THAT laughable. Only not at all humorous, with the cast of characters at Lindey’s. I watched for a moment until it was too much to bear. Why is it when a professional- looking young adult announces an arrival and a reservation these two ladies completely disrespect him, but when a 54-year-old man says the exact same information, there’s no problem whatsoever? Strike one.
Our server helped save the day, however - all class and quiet, professional service.
I ordered the fish special of the evening - walleye with mixed vegetables - but it seemed as though I needed my Garmin fish finder to locate flavor on my plate, as the meal was seriously under-seasoned, and the vegetables were seriously undercooked. For $32.00 I was hoping for more. Everyone else seemed happy with their selections, however, so perhaps I just made a poor selection.
This place is nice - our first visit - so we’ll be back...but maybe next time we’ll dine on the patio - bypassing the hostess stand altogether.
A particularly wonderful evening at my favorite restaurant.
I had the scallop special. The scallops were laid on a bed of unidentifiable cream and covered in a gloppy gelatinous sauce that tasted remarkably like cheap Chinese sweet and sour sauce. Vegetables were over done and equally covered in goop.
Outside is a great place to be! Beautiful place and great service
We had a late lunch on Monday....our server was delitful! She helped us to change a couple ingredients to make a pasta dish without cream sauce. We had wonderful cocktails and wine, the smoked salmon appetizer which was fabulous and 2 different pasta dishes, both outstanding!
Never ever have a bad experience at Lindey's!
Lindeys was a great spot for our Sunday brunch date with friends. The staff were excellent and the food was very good.
We had the perfect birthday dinner in a private corner. It was the perfect setting with champagne and the tuna tartare was amazing. We had a bottle of Jordan Cabernet with the lamb chops entree and it was a fabulous combination.
Very enjoyable evening. My wife and I are already planning another visit with friends.
Food was fantastic!
I had brunch here. The beignets were as good as New Orleans and the crab breakfast dish was a great mix of flavors. I’ll definitely be back!
We came out to celebrate my mom’s birthday and it was obvious that the server was ready to turn our table over from the minute we sat down. We received no questions about why we came out to dinner or if we were celebrating something special. I wish we had gone to M instead because they seem to always go out of their way for special events.
Rain kept us from dining on the patio. The mirrored room was so loud that it was distracting. The meal was very good overall, but the Caesar Salad was terrible. The watermelon soup--superb; lamb and crab cakes excellent. Service was not great. Server disappeared, did not bring wine with meal, and generally was inattentive. Disappointed.
My husband's birthday. He asked for his Tina to be cooked well..not seared. We were told the chef prefers seared. He did not want it prepares that way. Food came out ..guess what it was seared. Also we we sat next to a table of 5 and one gentleman was drynknloud and obnoxious. Not once did the manager ask him to please be less disruptive. We will never be back. What was to be a romantic birthday dinner was nothing but aggravation.
Lundey’s never disappoints. We try to stop there on our way thru Columbus and it is always a good experience.
Very good restaurant for lunch or dinner. Very friendly with excellent food presented in an upscale setting. Somewhat noisy and difficult for the hearing impaired. Wait staff good but needs training on the finer points of serving in an upscale setting as does the bussing staff. Definitely recommend.
The meal at Lindey's is Always among the best meals in columbus!
Heard great things about Lindey's so we decided to give it a try for a 60th birthday celebration. Overall a decent experience. Service was fair, very robotic, and no special offering or even a birthday wish from our server. Not that I needed the adulation, but thought it was particularly odd, since our fellow guests mentioned we were celebrating the special occasion, yet no acknowledgment whatsoever. Nice ambience and food choices were good. Might consider a return visit.
A delightful anniversary dinner on the patio, wih wonderful ambiance, excellent Service and delicious food ! Bruscetta appetiZer was fresh and delicious , I had scampi and hubs had the angel hair pasta , very flavorful and good portions. A definite repeat
Birthday celebration on your beautiful patio..Thank You!
Outstanding in every way. We celebrated my birthday dinner there. We were visiting Columbus with friends of ours from New York. Both the food and service were excellent. It is hard to impress New Yorkers, and they loved it. The front room of the restaurant has been restored with expert care. Lindey's abounds in class, charm and taste. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Columbus, Ohio.
Food was fantastic. Service was perfect. Table beside the two of us was 10 people screaming. But that is life. Dinner was great
Classic, classy and DELICIOUS! This was our first time to Lindey's - and we will be back. We actually are from out of town, but had to stop here at the recommendation of someone I met at a conference in San Antonio, TX. The entire German Village area is beautiful and Lindey's takes that elegance and places it in the form of a restaurant. The fish selections were awesome and there were so many gluten-free options, I felt like I was being spoiled. The wine selection was great too!
As in past visits, our food and our server were 5-star. Every dish was superbly prepared, tasty, and beautifully presented. Lindey's is the go-to place for an excellent meal.
Everything was fantastic! We had brunch and the Eggs Benedict were perfect. Impeccable service, great drinks, too!
What a wonderful brunch! Eggs Lindeys is so wonderful
Love the Eggs Lindey's, but disappointed that the eggs were over- poached. Our Waitress nicely got a new order of eggs, but they too were over- poached. The eggs being over cooked changed the entire taste of the dish.
Best place for a patio brunch! Any kind of occasion would make a great place to dine out!!
French onion soup was great, Cesar salad was not, I sent it back. Shrimp & Lobster Risotto was mostly shrimp. Had about a teaspoon full of lobster if that. The icecream in the banana’s Foster was good.
