Christmas Eve Dinner
New Year's Eve Dinner
We went for my husbands birthday. Excellent food and service
It’s usually a wonderful place I’m hoping this was an off night because it was one of my favorite spots. But our server just wasn’t on the job and dampened the experience
Could not have asked for a better meal...Best Restaurant I. Columbus
I love the 1930s feel of this place. Impeccable service and great attention to food preparation. The lobster bisque is heavenly, and the eggs Benedict at Sunday brunch is the best I have ever had. Only down side is limited parking, but they have complimentary valet service.
Never disappoints. Terrific food, service, and atmosphere!
House salad and entre special was midocre at best.
Worst meal I ever had at Lindey's
Great service and fund atmosphere. Good art on display too!
Lovely dinner, the food was outstanding & the maître D was so kind to us. It was also his birthday & he gave us great tips for things not to miss around Columbus. Can’t wait to return.
Very memorable evening. Food was outstanding. Service was superior. Job well done.
Fantastic food and great service thoughtfully prepared
Excellent food and service. Not a value meal but delicious
Our food was delicious, our server Ajay was superb! We were in the back room which I do not prefer - gets noisy in evenings. I recommend the smaller middle dining room for a quieter dining experience. For people watching, the front main dining area is a must.
Great as always.
Appetizers were good. The main dish was not what we expected from this restaurant. I would not consider this restaurant as one of the best in Columbus. The location and atmosphere are nice.
It is louder and brighter than I expect for a restaurant of this price point. The juxtaposition of the menu and the type of clientele the restaurant seems to cater to and the loud, bright, crowded environment seemed confusing. It is not a good spot for a romantic intimate date. The service as good. The food was delicious.
Great ambience, appropriately loud and incredibly vibrant atmosphere. Food was good, portions a little small but very tasty and well prepared. Only food criticism was that my shrimp and lobster risotto didn’t have a single piece of lobster. Nada. Should be be called “shrimp, we wish we could add lobster, risotto”. Waiter very stiff, not someone who should be dealing directly with people but others around him made up for it esp the hostess team. First time in Columbus, would go back and I highly recommend Lindey’s.
On a weekend trip, my wife and I tried Lindey's after seeing excellent reviews online. Perhaps because of how busy it was on a Saturday night, it took a little while for our waiter to take our drink order. However, from there forward, the service was great. My wife absolutely loved the lobster bisque and the shrimp and lobster risotto. I found my ribeye to be one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. We would definitely return if visiting Columbus in the future!
I got the salmon and it was fantastic. Hubby got the walleye, and he liked it a lot, too. Our server was absolutely excellent.
Superb food, great service, valet parking, notable and friendly ambiance, a reason by itself to visit German Village, a scenic locale.
Lindey's food was excellent. The steak melted in your mouth. The scallops were fabulous. The signature cocktail drink was delicious; a combination of bourbon, ginger beer and maple syrup. Only complaint was we were seated near bar area and it was very loud. Difficult to talk to your dinner partner.
Food and service were fantastic! We will definitely be back!
Lindey’s has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Columbus. The food is excellent and service is impeccable. Best place for a date night or good food with friends.
Service was great! Unfortunately, the food has changed for the worst over the year, everything was lacking taste and my steak was dry.
It was ok. The host was a little rude and we had to wait for a reservation.
We asked for a quiet booth and also let our server know that we needed to leave at 7:00 for the Ballet. Lindey's staff came through on everything. Kept us on time without rushing. Delicious food. Terrific service. Sue Doody's legacy lives on!
The food and service is always great here at Lindeys!! One of my favorite Columbus Spots!! Love coming here for special occasions or just a nice dinner out.
We had a wonderful meal and service was excellent. Love Lindey's!
My daughter loved having her 16th birthday dinner here !
My first time having brunch at Lindey's - can't believe it's taken me this long, but I will definitely be back!
We went to Lindey's for our anniversary. We already knew it was a special place and they didn't disappoint. Exceeded our expectations in all areas but mostly because of our waiter, Chris who was a total professional. Would recommend Lindeys to anyone for any occasion.
Dinner was good. I think my highlights were the appetizers, beef carpaccio and the the burrata cheese, along with my house salad. For main course we tried the lobster and shrimp risotto, which was good, but not amazing. My husband tried the steak. If you like your steak Chicago Style then your in luck. The charbroil was a little too much for our liking. Friends had the salmon and it was excellent. Atmosphere and cocktails are excellent. We will go back.
we will return says it all. food. ambiance. servuce.
The restaurant was busy and somewhat louder than expected. The food was good, but not great. The chopped salad was tasty and distinctive. The fish entrees, salmon and sea bass were average considering the prices. The apple crisp was overly crisp. Service was friendly and prompt.
The food was excellent and definitely worth it. However, the service was lacking and I was disappointed in the service I received. The waitress seemed annoyed we were there and was not attentive at all.
My friend and I went out for his birthday to get some food. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts were incredible. Our server came by just as I needed water every time. Even with the Resturaunt being busy, I never felt forgotten about.
We can honestly say we've never had a disappointing meal/experience at Lindey's. We went there on our first date 33 years ago and have been coming back each year ever since.
Fabulous! Every part of our meal was wonderful. I would absolutely travel to Columbus again just to go here. A true gem and worthy destination.
We had an exceptional and memorable evening. The food was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.
An inattentive and condescending server left us feeling uneasy after what would have been the perfect dining experience.
