Lincoln Tavern and Restaurant
Built with the intention of being a comfortable meeting spot for locals looking to share stories at the end of their long day, Lincoln draws inspiration from it’s surrounding, hard-working, and uniquely American neighborhood.
Revitalizing a nearly forgotten West Broadway space that at one time housed the area’s only department store, Lincoln feels nostalgic. It’s open-air, tiled-floor cafe, grande bar, and soaring, original tin ceilings remind us of a time when dining halls and supper clubs were a way of life.
Family in town and had to take them to Lincoln!
Crowded and noisy, but to be expected on a Friday night. Drinks were almost too strong and took quite awhile to arrive, but food was delicious!
Brunch test kitchen had a fun and refreshing menu with great original dishes
Tacos were flat and the steak avocado salad was bland. Goat cheese dip was great! Service was okay could have been more attentive.
Brunch is amazing! The food is incredible and the wait staff are awesome!
They went above and beyond for us! So generous and so unbelievably kind!
Everyone here always takes such great care of my family and me. We’ve never had a bad experience and we’ve been coming since they opened. It’s one of our favorite places to go in all of Boston. Chelsea, Bridget, Alexis, Lexie, Kayla, Pat, Cara, Reilly, Shandon and so many more are like family to us.
The brunch test kitchen was amazing.. very creative meals that may sound weird but are in fact delicious. The drinks are amazing as well. Casual vibe with big windows, great on a beautiful day.
We tried multiple dishes and all were great. Avocado toast is a must.
AMAZING. Greatest restaurant in south Boston
Great service, fast food, tasty food, and reasonable prices. It does get busy quickly though so reservations are a must.
Great food, awesome drinks. Slightly loud atmosphere
Loud loud loud
Food very good
Lincoln consistently delivers amazing food and service!
The entire restaurant is a long bar. Even in the corner the noise level is so loud you can’t hear yourself talk. Seems like a place to go socialize with a large group of people or a place to go meet people. Food was really good. They have some booths lining one side of the restaurant but said they only give them to larger parties, even though we went at 7:30 on a Sunday night and many of those booths sat empty. With us having only two they seated us right in the thick of the bar area. So if you plan to go on a date, don’t go here if you want to actually communicate with each other. Maybe order take-out to get the good food.
Easter branch, very nice waitress
I cannot imagine how anyone thinks this is a great place. The food is OK but nothing special, service is good and friendly, BUT the place is uncomfortably loud -not energetic as specified in the review categories. We had to leave. Lots of young people meeting other young people in good spirits but the noise in this very live space is extremely uncomfortable.
food amazing everything was great the only part id say was our server was taking a little long we went for brunch we sat at 2:30 and when we were ready to order it was 3:06 and we couldnt order brunch any vause it ends at 3pm , But she got us the last french toasts (my favoriteeeeeee especially there maple peacan syrup) so it worked out well ! i always recommended for brunch ! if you want a quieter spot deff as for something near the windows
My friends and I are avid brunch goers. Last Saturday was our first Lincoln tavern visit. It’s crowded and noisy, which is not ideal for Saturday family brunch with kids, but it’s great for a group of friends.
The short rib poutine is delicious. It says that it’s an appetizer on the menu, but rest assured it can be eaten as a main course as it is a decent portion of goodness.
Delicious food, great cocktails, wonderful service, and amazing ambiance!
Had a great breakfast with my daughter. Service was great, food was excellent. We will return.
Wonderful experience from the food and waitress super accommodating I wanted to taste everything
LOVE this spot. Excellent for brunch and sporting events!
Great experience! We had Brittany as our waitress and it couldn't have been any better.
Had pizzas salads and drinks. All very good, pizzas quite flavorful. Excellent service. We sat in back room which was quieter.
Waitress was attentive however food took a very long time.
Made reservations for a Saturday night. Arrived on time and was promptly seated. We had a fabulous waitress I wish I got her name. She was attentive and pleasant. Got appetizers of Brussel Sprouts, Wings and Dumplings. Good portion sizes. The main courses we chose were Scallops, Hanger Steak, and Pork Chops. No one was disappointed. The drinks all had a good pour. Nothing skimpy. We all thought it was a fantastic value. Make reservations or you will be in for a long wait just to get in the door.
Food was great but it was so loud we could barely hear each other
Our server was the greatest! Incredibly personable. The food was top notch.
Food was great, but it is very noisy if you are trying to talk with your party.
Atmosphere was fun. I would suggest you request a table away from the door on colder days. I had eggs benedict and they cooled quickly because of the cold air coming across the table each time the door was opened. I would definitely come back, I would just ask for a different table.
We enjoyed our stay thank you!
Great meal! Waitress was very nice
Everything is great except the acoustics; depending on where you're seated, even a sparsely populated crowd can make it difficult to hear. Again though, great place to grab a bite!
I went to Lincoln Tavern for Saturday Brunch. I loved the atmosphere. The ONLY bad thing is parking. The closest one besides the parking lot directly across from it (which isn't the restaurant's parking it just general parking) is a 15 minute walk away.
I'm really grateful the hostess was nice enough to let my friend and I push our reservation out since my friend was painfully late so we missed our initial reservation! It made our night we were still able to eat there, and at a reasonable hour too!
I like the vibe at Lincoln, but it seems that the food has gone downhill. I had the fattiest steak of my life while eating there on 03/05. I’d say about 60% of the cut was fat that I had to cut off of my $28 steak. Really disappointing. Still good service and a fun vibe, but probably won’t eat there anymore.
