Lincoln Tavern and Restaurant
Located in the heart of South Boston, Lincoln is a classic American tavern that offers guests a welcoming combination of home-spun, American fare alongside a wide variety of rustic, wood-fire-grilled specialties.
Built with the intention of being a comfortable meeting spot for locals looking to share stories at the end of their long day, Lincoln draws inspiration from it’s surrounding, hard-working, and uniquely American neighborhood.
Revitalizing a nearly forgotten West Broadway space that at one time housed the area’s only department store, Lincoln feels nostalgic. It’s open-air, tiled-floor cafe, grande bar, and soaring, original tin ceilings remind us of a time when dining halls and supper clubs were a way of life.

Lincoln never disappoints! I’ve eaten here dozens of times and it’s always delicious.
We had an amazing meal - will be going back again. Wait staff was great.
We thought the food quality was poor especially since it was not an inexpensive menu.
Best brunch around! They have a huge breakfast burrito and a seasonal turkey sandwich which made me in the mood for the season. Every time I come into Boston, it is a go-to place for me to visit!
Everything we ordered was excellent quality. Tavern atmosphere is great and more spacious than it looks from the outside.
Delicious brunch and great service!
Lincoln is the best and will continue to serve amazing food. Brought my mom here for her first time & she loved the salmon!
excellent food and service
have gone there many times and it is always great
Although the ambiance and food quality were exceptional tavern-experiences, the cost was higher than expected. It was over $100.00 for two salads with steak on them, six (very delicious and fresh) oysters, and three drinks.
Parking was almost impossible (22 minutes to find a spot), so I recommend arriving 30 minutes early to find a place to park, or walking.
Server was awesome!!!
Our waitress Brooke was fantastic- great suggestions and quick service! Food was excellent- Short ribs, truffle Mac and cheese, huge cheeseburger and crazy good fries. Pumpkin beer with cinnamon sugar rim was the best.
Felt like a frat house while we were eating dinner. Love the food and service at Lincoln and will return regardless but ultimately for a Saturday night, having the screens down during dinner was not great.
Went for brunch recently, but have been many times before. We got the loaded hash browns to share- YUM. We were debating ordering a second one lol. Me and a friend shared the breakfast pizza- it was delicious. Always enjoyed my time here, food is always great every time I go. The restaurant is really loud however, so if you’re looking to catch up with a friend you haven’t sent in awhile, this might not be the best place to go.
This place is nice but very noisy and expensive food
Excellent per usual
So good! The food was amazing and very the prices were accurate which we loved!
Snuck in for a weekday brunch and as always, was not disappointed. Service was great, food was better, will definitely visit again. Hash brown app was a must, unless you’re ordering a breakfast that comes with them. Avocado toast was a on point, and I’m pretty picky. Parking sucks, but if you go knowing that, you’re all set.
The pan roasted chicken w gnocchi was the best meal I’ve had in Boston to date.
it was very good! i will and have recommneded to various people!
Good food, good service, friendly staff and atmosphere.
The food was very good and the place was interesting and eclectic. We enjoyed dinner and drinks.
Favorite spot in Boston! 10/10 vibes, food and experience
Always a great experience at Lincoln. Food and service at the top of their level, never been disappointed
Four of us Enjoyed every single menu item and service was terrific!
The server could not have been more rude to us and we spent the entire time trying to figure out what we could have possibly done for him to hate us so much. It made the whole experience uncomfortable we felt scared to ask for anything from him because we didn’t want to set him off anymore than he had already been set off.
Dinner at 8 on a Friday night - fortunately we were able to get a table outside as the inside was crazy loud and a bar scene. Line out the door and down the street of people waiting to get in. Our server was excellent and food and drinks were good.
One of the best brunches in Boston!
Great food and ambience!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a fabulous meal. The food was exceptional and the staff was ver knowledgeable. BTW… I went for Sunday brunch and we will be going again!
Alway delivers, great place with a menu that works for all.
Service was great and the burger was fantastic. Highly recommended!
A lot of fun for a young girls night!
Brussel sprout appetizer is a winner
While they were pleasant enough, I was Uncomfortable with maskless wait staff and others leaning over the table our dood and our drinks
Service was a little slow which is understandable due to current circumstances. Food was good but I feel like it’s been better on previous visits. I normally rate Lincoln a 5 and will definitely be back.
A beautiful lunch outside. Everyone’s’ salad were delicious.
Great experience, love the coffee cocktails and bagel sandwich! Have the get the donuts each time. Great spot for brunch!
Great menu, delicious food, spot on service. Highly recommend!
We had a reservation but they put my partner and I in the back corner. Our calamari was undercooked and flies were buzzing all around us getting in our drinks. Getting the attention of our server was very difficult. We canceled our entrees to find a different restaurant.
Had a delicious meal and our bartender Jake is another reason we are coming back soon🍀
