Lincoln Square Steak Ratings and Reviews
This restaurant has very good food, and the service is impeccable. In fact, it has provided one of the best service experiences I have experienced in a NYC restaurant. My only critique is that they show a wall of photos of presumably the owner with hardline Republicans such as: Donald Trump, Kellyanne Con-Artist Conway, The Koch Brothers. These are photos not only of them in the restaurant but also of the owner at fundraisers. Do they not realize they are located in the UWS of Manhattan, where most people are anti-Trump and socially liberal? These photos ruined my appetite and show bad judgement on behalf of the owner.
We live on 70th street for many years and a lot of places tried to make it in this location but this restaurant is here to stay. Food and service was great . Very quite live music that creates a great atmosphere . The owner himself was checking on every table and even send us a complimentary desert.
Our group include 20 year olds and they enjoyed it a lot. Next table was a group of elderly women also enjoyed the dinner.
My girlfriends and I topped off our day in New York with dinner at the Lincoln Square Steakhouse. We would give the Lincoln Square Steakhouse 4+ stars if we could. Thank you so much to Mr. Selimaj and Ron our server for an amazing dining experience. Your restaurant and staff really know how to treat a girl on her birthday! The food was superb. The service was bar none. We were just blown away. You even gave me a birthday card with a picture to commemorate my birthday! Thank you!
Went here to impress a girl for Valentine's Day, oh boy did this place exceed expectations!
They gave me an amazing corner table, that was comfortable yet not too large.
The menu is amazing! To start we had fried calamari and ceasar salad, and for the main, we went for the chicken parm, which came served in a circle like a pie of pizza, on a pizza stand, with a pizza cutter, that they cut right in front of you and serve (with a side of awesome, slightly spicy, rigatoni vodka. Risky in a steakhouse but again, this hit a home run with my valentine.
Overall, I can't wait to come back and try the steak!
Came here last night to celebrate vday with my hunny. What a great night! The restaurant was decorated with heart balloons and roses on the tables. Chicken parm pizza was amazing as usual! Even though they were busy service was prompt and most importantly warm and friendly. Thanks for a memorable Valentine’s Day!
Lincoln Steak House was absolutely outstanding at making my partner and I feel special on a very special weekend. The service was second to none, with the owner of the restaurant even signing a card to commemorate the occasion. The fillet steak was melt-in-the-mouth great and the desserts were out of this world! I would absolutely recommend this steak house, thank you for a wonderful evening, we can't wait to come back for more!
This is my third time here and it didn't disappoint! Staff is knowleagble about menu choices and wine. The ambiance reminds you of a traditional and old school steakhouse feel. You are greeted by music playing at the piano and hostess taking your coat and seating you promptly. All you can ask for on a special night out!
We thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance of the restaurant. I loved the decor - red, rich and opulent. It gives you the feeling of stepping into an other world. The cross section of steakhouse and italian classics really made it a treat.
We had the filet mignon soft and velvety and the hangar steak, yum! The french onion soup was rich and the cheese gooey. The calarmari light and crisp. The dessert plate gave us a wonderful variety tiramisu, cheesecake, homemade cream puffs, it was almost too much!
The Wine Director was quite nice and congenial. He checked on us several times to make sure our visit was living up to our expectations, it was! We had a lovely bottle of Riesling, too. Marco made sure our visit was lovely.
We were there for a Restaurant Week dinner. Excellent menu with no supplementary fees (including for a petite filet mignon on the RW menu), plus an amuse bouche (ravioli with cheese, most unexpected). Tables very nicely spaced. Attentive service. Will go back without waiting for another Restaurant Week event.
Celebrated my wife's 75th birthday with a party of six. Once again, the experience was memorable. The food was outstanding as was the service and ambiance. To my surprise, we were seated in a private party room. Yvonne Lewis, the Private Events Manager, arranged it as the room was not being used that evening. People ordered a variety of dishes ranging from Steak, Veal Chop, and Salmon. All the dishes were perfectly prepared and delicious. The side dishes of baked potato, grilled brussel sprouts and sautéed spinach were equally excellent. They prepared a special Creme Boulee for the birthday girl, and a nice variety of sweets for the table. It was a memorable event and I would highly recommend Lincoln Square Steak whether for a quiet dinner for two or for a more festive occasion, as I have experienced both.
If you are in the area it’s must to visit this place and try their steak . They’re 10 out of 10 in every meaning . Service is amazing , they make you feel comfortable like you’re the most important guest there , the food arrives very fast , they def use the freshest and high quality food products to make the dishes . Their steak is one of the most delicious i’ve ever tried - and I love steaks ;) The environment , red interior , live jazz music are just perfect addition to the delicious food . Would def go back again and recommend - all the hands down , you wont regret it
We had an absolutely lovely evening. The service was great and the food was very good too. The pace of getting the food out was perfect and we also got a complimentary ravioli dish! The under $30 wine list was very worth the price(We got the Jelu). We went for restaurant week and ordered the calamari, sirloin, cream puffs and cheesecake. All our dishes were cooked well and to order. Would definitely recommend.
First time there and we were very impressed. It also happened to restaurant week so the deal was incredible!
Service excellent, food excellent! Even the owner goes around to tables shaking hands and making sure you had a great meal. If you want to try something different then the same old steak houses I highly recommend!
Our first time there. We were greeted warmly, and shown to a wonderful table overlooking the main dining floor. Our waiter was great, and the food spectacular. I had the Berkshire pork chops, my wife had the salmon. The couple we were with were celebrating their anniversary, and the staff made quite a fuss, bringing over a wonderful chocolate truffle cake. All in all a memorable evening. We'll be back.
I brought two of my best friends here to try the chicken parm pizza and just as I suspected they loved it!! It was cheesy deliciousness! It was $40 dollars and easily fed the three of us. We ordered a great bottle of Pinot Noir for under $30 dollars. This place is amazing affordable and delicious can’t wait to go back!
We went for restaurant week. Menu is a little more interesting for that than the early bird special - although both are $42 per person. Huge appetizer portion of calamari which was delicious and a wonderful Caesar salad! Steaks were great as you would expect and who can resist creamed spinach!
It was great. I went to there with my 3 friends, all of them satisfied dishes. Service is very good and food also delicious. But spinach that is side menu is a little salty and I don’t want it.. But except spinach, The rest were perfectly great! Most delicious of dessert is cheesecake! Finally, I want you to eat it:)
Totally impressed. The food was exquisite. The Wife had pork chops and creamed spinach, I had petite filet and baked potato. We even received a complimentary mushroom ravioli and it was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! The service was top notch. A must visit. We dined her for Restaurant Week NYC. We will visit again.
