Convenient if you're going to a concert at Lincoln Center, but really overpriced, and, as they've now changed the menu, though the food is ok, it's very poor value for money.

The service was very good. The food mediocre, but it is right in Philharmonic Hall, so extremely convenient for before a concert.

Service was unusually poor this time. Slow to be waited on, our plates delivered to the wrong table, had to wait too long for the check.

The bread is still the worst in town. When will you get a better baker. Does the bread have to be as soft, and tasteless as cotton candy?

Wonderful service. Early for our reservation post opera, but seated very quickly. Wait service was friendly and food enjoyable.

It is very convenient to dine here before attending a Philharmonic concert. Allow plenty of time to enjoy any of a variety of tasty dishes. As it gets closer to curtain time, the kitchen can back up and tie up service. The wait staff is accommodating, but they can't control what it going on in the kitchen. I thoroughly enjoyed the swordfish which was the special. After the shrimp cocktail, which was excellent, my husband was pleased that they were able to prepare spaghetti marinara for him, also enjoyed.

Food was overpriced. 2 inedible crab cakes were $38- outrageous . I would not recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, we were seated in an area that was near the service areas so it felt like we were really in the kitchen with clanging dishes etc. There are two parts to the Kitchen restaurant, and one is nicer and more formal than the other, where we were. But the food was great and the service very pleasant.

Disappointing! It has changed for the worse! The tables are so close together that you have to move at least two tables to slide in. The food is not bad; the waiters are hurried; with so many people jammed in together your conversation is completely public.
I used to enjoy having a quiet dinner there before a concert but not anymore! I will not go back at least until I see a big change!

Food was fair at best as was the service. We booked because of the location, but that does not out weigh the dining experience. Too bad.

The food was very mediocre in quality. The restaurant is basically in the lobby of Geffen Hall so you are eating (almost literally) under the stairs or in the lobby. The menu looked varied and good, but the quality of the food was very basic and not inexpensive for what you got.

Ambience is not good. It's like eating in a hallway with really bright lights. There must be some way to turn down the lights and make it more pleasant.

Food was good but not amazing. My mother enjoyed the chicken liver pate and her scallops. I had the shrimp and chicken which were okay. The menu is very fish heavy. I kept my coat on through the meal because there was a constant draught. Waitress was a bit grumpy but she was under pressure at pre-theater time.

Mostly convenient for all venues @ L.C. Easy access, comfortable and convenient, but not exceptional for food. Prices seemed "high", [$13 to 17] for a glass of wine.

One of our favorite places for pre-concert dinner, and it never fails us for good food, service and an ambience where we can actually talk with friends.

The waiter is slightly slow, waited a long time to get a drink, but having ordered the pre-fix, he got us out in time for the concert which is all I want.

convenient if attending an event at Lincoln Center - no better or worse than so many places in that neighborhood and super convenient and less rushed than eating someplace in the 'hood.

Arrived at 6:10 for pre-opera dinner. Food came at 7:10 for a 7:30 performance. Lots of apologies, but no adjustments when we did not have time to eat more than a few bites.

It is convenient to dine here if attending a Philharmonic concert. This was not the best experience because we were left with 1 1/2 minutes for curtain. Something was off. First bad experience. Food was very good.

Perfect for dinner before any event at Lincoln Center: ample seating, good food, nice wines, lovely service, and thoughtful nudging about getting to your event if you warn them in advance. It gets a bit noisy close to curtain-time, but that's another spur to timeliness. Of the options within the complex itself, it's by far the most economical.

This is our "go-to" place now for Lincoln Center. The waiters are starting to know us, and they are all so very nice, offering graceful, attentive, yet unobtrusive service. LOVE the seasonal specials.

Since this ir pre theater and you have 1 1/2 Ursa to eat definer everything depends on the server. There is one server heads and shoulders above the rest and her name is Beatriz. She serves exactly the right pace, and gets us out fine. She makes this restaurant great

Service was too fast. It was not “dining”. We were in the open area of the restaurant, not in keeping with the cost of the meal! ($171. Including tip for 2 people.) Generally disappointing. When we left we saw the inside dining room; much more appealing.
