We ate in the bar area, at a nice spot facing the window, as the dining room was booked. It was a VERY COLD night, and there was a draft from the door as people came in, and folks standing nearby waiting to be seated. Otherwise, our experience was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable, and attentive, and took great care of us. The scallops were amazing, as was the market fish special. We splurged on desert, the flowerless chocolate torte, and and spicy coffee with tequila. The combination of flavors was out of this world good! I highly recommend Limones and can’t wait to return. Will try to get a table in the main dining area the next time, but would gladly sit in the bar area if need be in order to enjoy the magnificent food and service if that was the only spot available.

What a wonderful experience. A Mexican restaurant that was a uniquely sophisticated luxurious meal. The margaritas were innovative with an extensive list of tequila and mezcal. The street corn was the best we ever had. Lobster nachos were elegant and very tasty. The rack of lamb with olive chimchurra was so unexpected in a Mexican restaurant and very special. A wonderful experience. A truly gourmet restaurant.

The appetizers were great. Highly recommend the ceviche sampler and chili relleno. Entrees were just OK ( our table got the lamb dish, pork dish, and beef tacos). Service was slow.

Absolutely perfect! We loved the cocktails, ceviche sampler, entrees and the dessert. Churros and bread pudding were outstanding. :)

The ambiance was great the food was delicious! We had a great time, we weren’t rushed out despite being the last table sat. We had the lobster nachos and seafood Tom yum soup with scallops, shrimp, and lobster and then tres leches cake to finish. It was all so delicious! Definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time and putting on the list to visit!!!

The service here is amazing! They had great recommendations for food and beverage. Our drinks and food came out extremely quickly, it was amazing. The lobster nachos and the traditional marg were my fav.

Limones is my favorite restaurant in Asheville. The menu changes often, and you cannot go wrong with anything. Perfect atmosphere, great food, great drinks. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar - Julian and Doug are the best!!

Visiting Asheville to celebrate our friends birthday. Second time we’ve been to Limones and it didn’t disappoint! Everything was excellent.

The pandemic had kept us from dining at our favorite restaurants this past year and we have started to venture out. We are Asheville locals and Limone’s was, and still is, a favorite of ours. Everything about the evening was fantastic! If you plan on visiting Asheville, make a dinner reservation at Limone’s, you will not be disappointed. If you are locals, you already know how great it is!

We returned after a year of Covid to celebrate birthdays. Expanded space was nice. Food and service extraordinary, as always.

Probably the worst seat in the house right behind host/hostess stand. Food was incredibly bland, ceviche lacking acid, salt, flavor, etc. chips not salted or seasoned. Least flavorful Caesar salad ever, lobster nachos very underwhelming, they were out of the lengua which we were looking forward to. Had to order a side of hot sauce and use the lime on my water to try to make dishes taste good. Nothing special about this place except the tequila. Overpriced and under executed.

First class meal. Great service. Lovely setting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

In town from Chattanooga with my husband; hostess was amazing and figured out our reservation glitch with open table.
Ceviche sampler was awesome; enjoyed the carne asada and seafood Tom Yum.
Washed it down with a berry habanero margarita and three desserts: churros, bread pudding, and tres leches. Not sure when we’re going to be able to eat again, but we will be back!

Seana was an incredible waitress! She did a wonderful job recommending various items on the menu and pacing the meal well. She also congratulated us on our upcoming marriage anniversary and even treated us to a free toast of bubbly!

Everything was perfect! Service was impeccable (we had Shawna...her knowledge on the food & the drink menu was top notch! We just about ordered all her favorites!!), drinks were refreshing and the apps and main dishes were DELICIOUS!! THE best scallops I have ever had! We were a table of four and we couldn’t have been more satisfied with everything!

This was the best start to finish experience we had in a restaurant in Asheville. Keep in mind that it is the Covid era and it was hard to get in "good" restaurant's but it would be hard to beat Limones. From the hostess to the app's, meals and drinks. Great place. Highly recommend.

Food was extraordinary! Service was great. Great selection of tequila. Food is seriously some thing that you do not get at most restaurants. Super impressed.

This was our second time to go to Limones when we visit Asheville and it did not disappoint. Julien was our waiter and he did an excellent job of going over the menu with us. His recommendations were perfect. The ceviche sampler was outstanding. My husband had the scallops. He said they were cooked to perfection. I had the pork tenderloin with kale. It was wonderful. We enjoyed the chocolate flourless cake as part of my husband's birthday . Everything about the dinner was perfect! We are so glad we made the reservation before our trip so we could enjoy it all.

We have been Limones fans for years, but the food was just not up to their standards. Probably will not go back.

The service was excellent. The food looked beautiful but was really lackluster. All 3 dishes were presented well but just flavor. It was really disappointing. Prices were on par for an Avl. restaurants.

Limones never disappoints! Everything was perfect: the food, the service, the ambiance, the beverages, our server. It’s our favorite restaurant in Asheville and we’re so glad it re-opened. The renovations are beautiful and all social distancing guidelines were being followed. We’ll be back again and again and again!
