My wife and I were their for brunch. The food was fair to good, but we have eaten there several times before. Brunch was by far the worst meal we have had at Limones.
Value was good, food was just slightly above average.
Would recommend, yes, with reservations.... Food mostly good, not outstanding, and we had a variety of dishes: brussels, nachos, steak, mac & cheese, chicken tinga tacos, and halibut prepared in the way it was supposed to have been for sea bass. It was good, as I said, though not in any way outstanding. But the potential is certainly there, and prior visits have been better. So would try again and would recommend with, as I said, reservations. Cocktails before dinner were nice - differently flavored Margaritas. I still deeply regret that they cannot see themselves to including even one gin drink - g&t, at least, anyone? - on their menu, but whatever. The flan was okay but just that. The Tres Leches, however, was the best we've ever had. Usually it is huge and heavy and oooff. This was nothing like that - it was great tasting and light and airy and wow. A winner. The churros were, well, churros - what else is there to say. And the wonderful lagniappe truffles they brought us were stupendous: thick and dark chocolate coated with wonderful cinnamon and cayenne pepper. OMG. The port to round out the meal was light as well as the dessert and tasty, though I do wish restaurant people in these parts would get on board with Taylor-Fladgate ports. Anyway, yes, would go again. Wish they would do better because I know they can.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback, we appreciate constructive criticism and are always seeking new avenues to improve our guests experience. Limones uses fresh, local ingredients and are certainly open to improving our menu in any way we can. We do have a full bar with talented bartenders that would be happy to prepare any cocktail you desire. Hopefully, you will continue giving us the opportunity to serve you in the future! Take care, Limones
Fantabulous as always. I’d give my usual 5 starts but subtracted bc my bouillabaisse was not very good. Tasted too “fishy” and not in a good way. Mom’s chicken tinga tacos were good. The lobster nachos were stellar as was the salmon and avocado tartare. Dads pork was cooked perfectly and bfs quesadilla was awesome despite my trepidation of them. All in all another solid meal at one of my favorite restaurants in asheville.
Outstanding food and service!
Great food...best restaurant in Asheville
The food and service outstanding! Brad, our server, was very attentive and patient. Scallops cooked perfectly with the cauliflower veloute was seasoned just right. The seafood stew was overflowing with all types and broth was delectable. Our favorite place in Asheville and never disappoints.
Our party of 4 enjoyed the poblano pepper appetizer and lobster nachos. My husband loved his enchilada. My salmon, in comparison was lacking. Our friends raved about their chicken taco and the roast pork. Handcrafted beverages were delish as was the flan.
We enjoyed the lobster nachos and scallops. One of the best meals I've had!
The staff was attentive; very friendly; made wonderful recommendations.
Great food and service!
Fun and delicious!
Best margarita's in Asheville, so many choices. Food always well prepared with interesting taste selections.
Poor service! Our server Alex made us feel very uncomfortable and not welcome at all. The food was les than desirable. Will not be visiting again.

Fantastic experience. Our server, the table location, food, wine, everything was awesome!
Loved it! If there for brunch, the Free Range Chicken Tinga Tacos are a must! And of course a margarita. :)
Food outstanding ! Lively environment!
Brought us a glass of sparkling rosé bc they knew it was our anniversary!! Great touch
Excellent! They treated us very well for an anniversary dinner. We enjoyed it!
As a resident of Asheville, I always like taking out of town visitors to Limones, one of my favorite restaurants in town, and it never disappoints.
Our third time dinning there. Love their food. I took their curry seafood stew. Was amazing. Desert was great too.
Great service, kind, friendly, knowledgeable. Food was amazing!! Wish we lived closer, we loved it!
We dined at Limones on Halloween night before the Billy Strings concert at the Orange Peel, a great choice if attending an event at the OP! We chose the right spot. It was a rainy, blustery night on Biltmore Avenue but we felt warm and cozy when greeted by the hostess and were seated earlier than our reservation called for. Our waiter was wonderful, dressed as Waldo. He gave us great suggestions and was perfect in his timing and service. Our appetizer was the best ever, and the cocktails are seriously the best I have ever had. Limones is our favourite restaurant in Asheville. Thank you!
Entrees overpriced and traditional Mexican food was unsatisfying.
This is a must visit place if you're in the Asheville area.
Great food great service
Our service was great! The food was wonderful too, especially the lobster nachos! Drinks are very good too. I would have preferred a better table, we were back near the kitchen and bar so it took away from the atmosphere. The food is excellent though.
Amazing food!!! Everything so delicous and special. The coconut margarita was truly wonderful!
The ceviche sampler was excellent! Unbelievably so. My ragout Chile Relleno's were very good. Very different from what I've had before. I'm glad we had the chance to try the restaurant before we left Asheville.
Upscale Mexican. Ceviche sampler was awesome. Make reservations.
Top 3 Fav Restaurant of all time!! We enjoyed the Mussels, Lobster Nachos, and Tinga Tacos...so delicious. The atmosphere was awesome, staff were super friendly, and the food was out of this world. We loved it so much we canceled reservations at another restaurant and went again a few nights later! Make sure to get reservations though, not a huge place and the wait was about an hour.
Amazing Great service and food.
Food superb, service excellent, noise level high but could be due to sold out attendance during a Saturday night in high season!
Fresh locally sourced ingredients blended to perfection with spices that make your mouth sing. Best margaritas ever. Make sure to save room for the Tres Leche.
An Asheville gem in a great area of the city. Great prices on drinks!
Visiting Asheville this place caught our eye. Great experience.
Wonderful food and great ambiance! It’s the perfect place to celebrate an event or a nice dinner with a friend or spouse
This place is absolutely fantastic...one of my best meals in a long while....if you don't thoroughly enjoy this place, you should make a doctor's appointment and have your taste buds checked
Limones was a wonderful experience. We had an issue with our reservation. Somehow are reservation was for the next day, not the day we arrived. Renee, the hostess, went out of her way to accommodate us and we ended up being seating almost immediately. We cannot thank her enough for taking such good care of us. And the food was absolutely delicious . We were so happy to be able to enjoy Limones!
The service and food were not what we are used to receiving.
Waiter was wonderful. My wife’s eggs came out a bit overdone but they quickly cooked up some new ones and fixed our problem.
We will be back again for dinner next time we hope!
