Food was great, service was excellent. Just too loud for conversation. GPS needs up date to get you into the shopping center. We came in from Reading , our dinner companions from Philly. Caused them to be 20 minutes late.
lovely and attentive staff, all of our orders came out correct, hot, and at the same time! they brought out a sweet little cake and ice cream for my birthday! love this place
Nice restaurant. Food is average to fair. Prices are too high for what you get. Service is slow. Bar area better.
We went here for Mom's birthday with adults and 2 tweens. Everyone enjoyed their meal from the charcuterie plate to the pizza, chicken limoncello, and desserts. Service was excellent.
Excitedly we sat outside since it was the first warm day this spring. Very nice outdoor seating area. Server quickly approached and was very pleasant. Apps came out right away and were excellent. We then placed our entree order. We waited for about 40 minutes for the waitress to come over and tell us that one of our entrees was out. Needless to say that this was a major disappointment. Why wait 40 minutes to tell us that they were out of an entree. We quickly substituted another entree and our food was out shortly after. Everything was very good. The manager did come over and apologized and comped us dessert. We would have appreciated comping the meal instead. We ordered cappuccinos with our dessert and they came out very cold - another disappointment. We sent them back and received new ones - not much better, but we let it go. At this point the waitress would have preferred to be anywhere, but serving our table. Overall, we liked the environment and the food was excellent. We have had other recommendations regarding the restaurant and the quality of the food, so we'll chalk our first experience up to a fluke and give it another try in the future.
Everything good. Just too long for food to be served. Waitress was nice so please do not blame her. Just too slow.
Limoncello has reliably delicious food, fair pricing, and a pleasant atmosphere. A courtesy sample of bruschetta and Limoncello shot are offered and both are highly recommended. We have never been disappointed when dining here. Parking is plentiful and outdoor seating is an option at the Chester Springs Site.
Food was delicious. Beautifully plated.
Everything was excellent!
Great meal and service. Short rib flatbread was fabulous. Portion size is large and lends itself to sharing.
Very disappointed. This is one of our favorite places to eat. Took my parents for the first time. Took over an hour to get our food and once we got it the quality was terrible. Not what we are used to. They comped our entrees but i doubt my parents will give it a second chance.
Limoncello was hopping on a Saturday night! We were seated 15 minutes after our reservation time. Our waitress was fun and efficient. The food....when it came.....was delicious. Our appetizers came out right away. But we sat for almost an hour after that waiting for our entrees. The only explanation we got was that "the kitchen was busy." I was disappointed that we didn't get any other information. A visit by a manager to our table would have been nice. We saw many tables near us that had ordered after us get their meals. So I don't know what happened but something better than an offhand remark about the kitchen from our waitress would have been nice.
Delicious Italian fare, the chicken messing was amazing!
As always great food and service
We had a party of 8 to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. It was a weeknight and we had a table in an uncrowded part of the restaurant, so we were able to get noisy without disturbing others. The food is very good, people commented specifically on how good their beet and dina salads were. Service was excellent, and I appreciate the notice in bold text on the credit card receipt that tip is already included. We had a great time and will return soon.
Fantastic dinner. Food was delicious, service was spot on, had a wonderful evening for a group of 7. Now I see why their reviews are high
Great food and great service. A little noisy at first but quieted down after about 7:45. We will be back!!!
Dinner was good, service was great!
This week's visit to Limoncello was not as good as most of our previous visits. We were seated at a small table in the busy corner of the room when there were a ton of open tables elsewhere in the restaurant. Our server was not very attentive to details. My wife asked for dressing on the side on her salad and it was served with dressing applied and soaking in the bottom of the plate. Then we asked for a remake of the salad and the second plate was considerably fewer salad fixings then what the first plate contained. For an $18 salad plate (including shrimp), one would think that it would be overfilled with the cheaper greens components. I had lasagna with extra marina sauce and it was what I normally expected from here. Then the check appeared and I had two billing sheets; one with the two meals and one with an incorrect 3 meals included. The server should have completed removed the incorrect bill from the server check folder.
Good Food and Service. Very accommodating to our food preferences.
Good food, reasonable price, good service. Family friendly
The food and service was great but it was very, very LOUD! Made conversation difficult!
I usually love to go here but tonight was a disappointment. The food came out luke warm. The service was wonderful though. I also had to send back the dessert as it had a fishy taste to it. Overall, for the money spent, it was not worth it. I am not saying I will not go back but it will not be anytime soon.
Nice meal, favorite neighborhood place.
The dining experience was the best. Good food and excellent service helped to make a birthday celebration special.
The veal marsala was very tender and lean as it should be, though it was somewhat bland and lacked any of that "Marsala" flavor. Perhaps it was a problem only on the night we went, but the creme brulee for dessert had a very strange taste , strange enough that I would not order it again. Other dishes that were more sauce-based seemed fine. The food required a slight wait coming out of the kitchen, but the wait staff was pleasant and attentive, even on a Saturday night.
My wife decided that waitress’s name was Tootie even though it was really Kate. Maybe she could change her name to avoid confusion in the future?
Have dined here many times. Chicken parm, veal chop parm and eggplant parm were great, as usual. Bruchetta is always good as well. Table are a bit cramped in the main dining area.
Will definitely be back !
We always enjoy Limoncello! Especially fine is the happy hour and accompanying expanded happy hour menu. Two of us share a salad, calamari and one more item and it's dinner. The Limoncello shot at the end of the meal is on the house - the perfect dessert!
Confirmation lunch - service was great and food was incredible.
Food is always excellent. The chicken Limoncello is my favorite but you can’t go wrong with anything you order. The last couple times I’ve been to the Chester Springs location it’s been fairly crowded and the service was a little slow but before that I’ve always though the service was excellent.
I was displeased with this visit. We had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time, had to ask for bread twice and we were never asked if we would like anything more to drink past our original order. Also, we were seated by the front door so we had people standing over us while they waited for their table to be ready.
The man sitting at the table next to us kept having his phone ding ding really loudly every few minutes.
This was the first time in a really long time that I was getting a night out with friends. I enjoyed their company but not the atmosphere or the service. My previous visits were much more enjoyable.
We’ve been to West Chester restaurant many times. First time of in Chester Springs and everything was awesome! Food, drinks, waitress and atmosphere.
Celebrated 2 birthdays with family. Everyone loved their meal! Most had leftovers to take home. Had some excellent gluten free options too. Noise level was a bit more than I like but overall had a great time! Love the limoncello shots at the end!
Best bruschetta in Chester county
I was there with a vendor and we sat and talked for at least an hour before ordering and our waitress was very accommodating. She kept checking on us but we never felt rushed to order or get out of there. The food was all delicious...I had the swordfish and would order again.
Usually, I love Limoncello for great food and great service. This time was disappointing. It was not crowded and yet our waitress was unattentive. The food was good, but I expect exceptional from Limoncello, especially for the price. Lunch was $45.
Unfortunately the kitchen was extremely slow in serving our main course. Our granddaughter did not order an appetizer and had to wait 90 minutes for any food. The waitress was apologetic but there was no adjustment.
Just an off night, even with a light crowd.
Drink was made wrong, bruschetta was stale and tasteless
Entrees were served while we were halfway through our shared app and left on our table to get cold.
Lobster tail tasted metallic, pasta with breaded veal was not drained and veal was totally soaked.
Dessert which was supposed to be toasted ended up burnt.
Usually a better experience.
My fiancee and I come here quite often because we love the food, atmosphere and service. Decided to bring our Uncle here for his Birthday (first timer). It wasn't the fantastic service we usually have but it was early in the day and I believe they had just opened. As usual, the food was great. We will be back!
