Limoncello at the Orange Inn
Champagne & chive burre-blanc
We had a wonderful dinner date on the outside porch. Great service and delicious food! Felt so good to be out doing something normal!
An enjoyable outdoor dining experience with wonderful friendly service.
Lots of good variety on the menu. Went with my favorite Chicken Parmigiana. It was DELICIOUS and the portion was large and price very reasonable. My friend had the lasagna and said the same.
The service is outstanding. The food was good. Not bad but not exceptional. The pricing was moderate. They have a nice wine list and very good pricing.
Wonderful food and great service!
Slow service, food was ok, asked for light on sauce and didn’t come that way
The food was excellent
Our waiter manny was outstanding
Food was Great! However, we were sat near a cieling with water dripping from it, with a wobbly table. The person who sat us was kind of embarrased by it and appologized that this was our dining spot, we were ok with that and overall didnt mind. However, it took 20 minutes for someone to approach our table. and after we recieved drinks it took another 20 minutes for our orders to be taken. Then our food came out so slowely our own server came over to us 2 hours into our meal and asked us if we wanted a complimentary after dinner limonchello drink. We obviously looked confused and he said "you got your food right" we didnt even recieve our salads by that point. We did not complain though and just enjoyed our time the best we could. For our desert we ordered the bananas fosters and it was sad to watch the nice gentleman preparing it whild drips of water dripped down onto the table he was using, it was a little gross, but again we kind of just tried to enjoy our time. We had reservations for 6:30 and did not leave until just before 10:00pm. The food was great but the rest made our valentines/birthday dinner date one not to remember. But then again any day out with my wife and good food is still nice :)
Great service and great food!
A wonderfully delicious meal. a great start to a New Year..thank you!!
We waited over an hour and a half and were never brought our entrees. When we inquired we were told ‘we have no idea what’s going on.’ Have dined and been disappointed enough times to never return.
Great tasting food . Good service . Authentic flavors .
Spent the first half of our time there freezing because they had the air conditioning on in December. Ate dinner the whole time with my coat on because they refused to turn it off. Food wise, the apps were okay. I had eggplant rollatini which was good. However, I ordered lasange for my main course and it was so burnt I couldn't eat it. Will never go there again.
Great Christmas Eve family dinner
Good food and good service. Decent spot for family dinner, place is kind of dated and they told us we had to order entrees at the same time as appetizers, so it's not exactly what I'd consider fine dining or someplace I'd necessarily pick as an impressive date night.
Very great atmosphere
it took 2 1/2 hours for dinner. 3 of 6 meals were not cooked, small portion, and the last meal was bland..Kitchen was run poorly..
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was out of this world. I would go again in a heartbeat.
My wife and I went for our anniversary, the service and food were great, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be going back .
The food, service and atmosphere is ALWAYS top notch! We enjoyed our evening and highly recommend this restaurant to all our friends. The menu offers many options for appetizers, entrees and desserts so there is something for everyone. The entire wait staff is attentive and professional.
This was our first time here and Very glad we tried it! Very lovely interior with dark wood and stone. We ordered appetizers to share and each one was perfect to share with the 4 people we had at our table. The entrees were larger portions that we anticipated, which was nice and the flavors were wonderful! The chicken and fish were perfectly crusted on the outside and still moist inside. (The only aspect that wasn't perfect was that it seemed like only 2 gentlemen were working the floor and it was a little challenging to clear the table properly, serve, etc - but they really did their best!) We'll definitely be coming back.
Excellent spot picked for an early Business Dinner (opens at 4). First time here. The food was outstanding and the service was very good. The specials sounded excellent but we ordered from the menu, Angus Filet in Demi Glace and also a Chicken Cordon Bleu. Both were outstanding, both in presentation and in taste. Get your hungry self over there soon! With food this good I’m sure it gets very busy at rush-time, so go early!
The food was fabulous. The restaurant was crowded & extremely loud & noisy on a Tuesday. Service was great although we had a hard time hearing our waiter over the noise. He was unable to accommodate a table change & I doubt it would have made a difference. Our reservation was 6:45 & we still had to wait 15-20 minutes for our table. I disliked that we were still eating our appetizer (it had only been served to us about 10 minutes prior) when our entrees came out.
We ordered the hot antipasto and the mushrooms were cold as ice . The waiter tried to make an excuse before replacing the tasteless mushrooms . We waited an hour and a half for salad. the time the salad came it we finished our wine . It wasn't until 2 hours later our tastiness dinners arrived and wee were out of pelligrino and wine ! Our waiter didn't seem to care . We had to get home to the babysitter so we couldn't even enjoy the entrees and I had to box them up myself to take home . Also , it was so very loud !!!! I couldn't hear myself talk , I had to shout . It was a terrible experience and we have been coming on and off for 13 years . I say on and off because this is not the first time we had a bad experience . Each time we go back we hope it has changed . I guess because there are such limited amount of options in Italian restaurants in the proximity they think they can get away with mediocre service , food , and atmosphere !
Wonderful food and atmosphere. The restaurant has a great feel with impeccable restrained service. I had poorly flank steak and grilled Brussels sprouts. My wife had papardelle with mushroom and truffle. Exquisite
Girls night out!! Delicious!!
Had lunch with my wife during restaurant week. Had never been to Limoncello prior to this visit and we were delighted with the many choices on the restaurant week menu and the quality of the food we had! Service was attentive and the old inn has real charm. We viewed some of the other rooms that could serve very well for private parties and we were pleasantly surprised by the multiple venues available. Great place! We will come back for dinner next time.
It took a 1/2 hr to get a glass of wine, and only after I spoke to the manager. Our waiter forgot to put our order in, so we waited another 45 minutes to eat. It was s busy night, but I don’t think I would go back
Had an amazing dinner and perfect service.
We went with four family members all of us enjoyed our food and the service was a bit slow but still very good
This restaurant is family oriented, warm & inviting. Every time my family and I go there we're never disappointed.
Everything was fine except for the service. We waited 40 minutes for our cocktails after we ordered them. The waitress kept apologizing. We were near the bar area so couldn’t figure out the problem. Bigger crowd than usual? Short staffed?
My husband got served early. When he reminded the waitress the appetizer was to come at the same time as my entree, she announced the food wasn’t his anyway! Our other guest and I received our salads one minute before our entree so we were not pleased.
The restaurant was very crowded and noisy.
Great food every time, piano player on Friday & Saturday’s adds a very nice vibe. Best filet steak with blue cheese in Orange County.
The head waiter spent the night running, literally running, thru the restaurant at top speed. Shaking the floor, pounding footsteps. We were seated in his path to the kitchen, the most anxiety inducing dinner ever. All the other waitstaff were lovely, calm and professional. He should take a lesson from his staff.
Delicious food and lovely setting otherwise.
We've dined here for many years and always enjoyed it. However, this time, they had a very off night. We showed up a few minutes early and still had to wait at the bar for our table-even though we could see open tables that would fit our party of 4. Once we ordered, it took over an hour & 15minutes to get our appetizers, by which time we'd finished our bottle of wine (which was brought promptly). We asked the waiter what the problem was and were told they had "33 tickets all go into the kitchen at once". There were people seated after us who got their food before we did. The waiter apologized and said he would speak with the manager to see if there was anything they could do for us. He returned and said they could offer us free dessert. We responded that we'd prefer another bottle of wine. The waiter went to speak with the manager and returned with another bottle of the wine we'd ordered (it was a good vintage, so I give Limoncello kudos for that). The food was all very good (though my wife's medium rare fillet was closer to medium well- however, by the time the entree's came, we weren't going to wait for it to be corrected. All in all, we were there for nearly 3 hours. They'd hosted a private party earlier, and it must've thrown everything off in the kitchen since it was also packed in the main dining rooms.
The food was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine and the portions were a great size both my wife and I brought food home. The ambiance is very nice for a quaint date night with good Italian music to set the scene. The service on the other hand could use some help. The person who I assumed was my waiter came up didn’t introduce himself and kind of abruptly asked us for drinks to which both my wife and I felt his mannerisms were a little rude. He attempted to take the order and when I placed my entree order he never wrote it down. The salads and a soup came meanwhile my wife’s bar drink never made it, after a 3rd person came to check on us he grabbed her drink and asked if we were splitting one entree. At this point I realized he never took my order and the third waiter looked confused and said he would be right back. He then attempted to bring my wife’s meal out 15 means before mine was to come out because they forgot to order it. After all this I eventually received both meals and the original waiter who made the initial mistake ever returned to apologize or address the situation. We arrived at 630 and the preparation and service took a little longer than preferred and we finished almost 3 hours later.
Excellent food and great service. An ideal place for special occasions.
Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. Dante is the best!!!
Will miss you. See you over the holidays!!
