Great ceviche and nice atmosphere! I'll definitely come back for more!
Everything was great. Kind of on the loud side with the ambient music. Without having to complain, our waiter comp’s is with some sides and a drink because there was a bit of a miscommunication over who our server was. Nice that management recognizes and takes initiative to correct even little oversights.
Food was great, service was great - very noisy
Mixed up food, super noisy, poor service, table in basement not nice
food very good
Intimate corner restaurant with limited but interesting menu selections. Very clean, attentive service, lively atmosphere. A good place for friends to meet up to catch up!
Basement table in more noisy area wish could seat on the street level and food a bit cold. Probably because they had too many customers, overall positive but could be better
Family visited. Staff would not allow my aging mother to sit in empty chair while waiting for me. Staff then elected to seat her at a table downstairs instead of the available tables upstairs.
Fabulous food and even better service. We let our waitress order for us and we were not disappointed. Great value to boot. Just go here if you haven't been before.
The food was good and the staff was attentive, though very busy. But it was extremely noisy, not relaxing at all, conversation difficult, and not really that good for our special occasion date.
Server was super nice. I love their food and drinks! There weren’t ready for table when we got there. That’s ok but I appreciate if they smiled at me instead of just telling me to wait.
This use to be my favorite restaurant in SF. Especially this location. It had a different feel than the Valencia location. However, my recent visit was disturbing. I had a host come and move my table while I was sitting at it (without asking), so that he could make passing room for foot traffic (to the restroom, etc). It wasn't the issue of moving. Instead, he walked over and moved the table while I was reading and the proceeded that he needed to move my table and thanked me for understanding. It was definitely an "othering" experience. I was not invited into the plan of moving my table, nor was I given a choice (i.e. move the table or sit at another table, etc). The cost of 1/2 chicken has increased exponentially considering that you no longer get the 3 aji sauces with it and for a $58 tab (mind you I ate alone) the food wasn't worth it. My chicken came out luke warm. When leaving (I boxed my own food) and asked for a cap for the left over aji sauce and one of the waiters proceeded to put his hand in my boxed Ensalada Ruso (touching my salad and getting aji sauce on his hand. Overall, it was a weird, weird experience. I have never had such a poor experience before at this restaurant and being that I was the only Black woman in the restaurant it had me wonder if this was part of the reason for my poor experience. I would hope not... and I don't assume race in every situation, but I had to contemplate this over the past 3 days. So sad that a restaurant that I frequented quite often and had such amazing memories of has left this "taste" in my mouth.

Pulpo a la parrilla (grilled octopus) was fabulous, as was the mango panna cotta. Other dishes (Lomo Saltado and quarter white chicken) were also very good.
Wonderful everything. The staff was so efficient. The ambiance was busy, but not hectic. We were never rushed, even though we could see people outside waiting to come in.
Yummy food. Try the beef tongue. Absolutely amazing
A great place to be for Food warm atmosphere and a quiet time to enjoy
