We went here on a double date it was everyone first time here we all enjoyed the food it was amazing very tasteful. We also had a few mixed drinks they are not that strong tho.

Íbamos a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposo y éramos 7 personas, cuando llegamos al restaurante querían sentarnos a 7 persona en 2 mesitas pequeñas que regularmente entran 2 personas por mesa, no me pareció que a 7 personas nos sentaran en esa mesa tan pequeña, tuve que quejarme y me dijeron que esperara 10 minutos y la espera en realidad fue de 20 minutos y me dieron las mismas mesas intentamos sentarnos pero realmente no podíamos ni movernos para comer.Luego un mesero muy amable nos dio otra mesa mas y por fin después de 1 hora pudimos sentarnos a gusto.
La atención fue tan mala, ordenamos polli papá, lomo saltado y estuvimos esperando otros 45 minutos más y sin consultarnos nos trajeron camote en vez de papá, mi esposo es alérgico al camote y no podía comer polli camote, realmente pasamos una noche terrible, mi esposo no pude comer lo que él quería, al ver la orden que le trajeron solo decidió comer el pollo.

We were in town for a short trip and needed a place that served dinner at 4:00. First of all, they told us we were at the wrong restaurant - I’m thinking that they didn’t want to serve a large party. But then, I find out that they had an entire downstairs open.

The server was very helpful in explaining the Peruvian menu. The food was excellent. Looked like a lot of local diners there on a Sunday night. The neighborhood looked a bit sketchy, but was much nicer a few blocks away. I would consider coming back - to try other items on the menu.

The service was good but the chicken was not properly cook, a little bit undercook.
Also, the table was not ready when we arrived and we have to wait outside.

I enjoyed the Limon Punch and the shrimp with potatoes. But the noise level was deafening and really negatively impacted our experience. We couldn’t wait to leave.

Great experience overall. Service was good, food was good, and vibe was great. We had a good time. I was just a little disappointed with the steak and prawns special. It was a nice piece of meat however I was expecting to taste a little more Peruvian. I definitely recommend this restaurant for the ambiance and service.

It was worth the wait after the first reservation was cancelled due to misunderstanding of the printed gift receipt versus the card.

The staff were great and the food tasted so good! I highly recommended and in fact I already told my friends to try eating there.

Kept up the great service!

Reserved for a 9:30 dinner for three, arrived on time and ordered promptly. Finished our food and requested a dessert menu, the reply was sorry the kitchen is closed (it was 10 pm), oh, someone should have told you was the reply. You can reserve until 9:45, they should consider 9:15 as the last reservation or asking if you want a dessert when you order your food.
Cleaning the restaurant and closing up while people are eating is unpleasant as well...

Food and service was great. If we had 8 in our party, we would be charged auto gratuity. We had 7.

The restaurant decided to add gratuity anyway. Im all for tipping for great food and service. But the fact that they pushed it on the bill anyway regardless of fear of under-tipping or who knows what...left a small bad taste in the mouth.

Tipping is optional after all, and the little things matter like that in the dining experience. It will be remembered.

Had they not decided to push it on the bill, i would have tipped more than expected anyway.

Be mindful of this Limon, all 7 of us saw that and will remember it. Had we not had great service, the tip would have been exceptionally low, but we thought of your staff and the chefs and tipped generously.

The food is always great! The hostess was very rude. She wouldn’t sit me until my friend arrived. The restaurant was empty and I had to stand outside. Once I was seated, the person behind me had extended their chair. The hostess passed between us and rudely asked me to move my chair in. When the person behind was clearly blocking the way.

Food is fantastic, came out quickly. There are larger tables available for bigger groups, the volume is pretty loud. Servers were attentive and helpful. Would recommend the truffle Mac and cheese, the chicken, and ceviche!

This our second time eating here and we love the food, service and atmosphere. At times it can get really loud, and with the tables so close and crowded together, it can be a bit distracting trying to have private conversation. But knowing that going in, it is not a huge problem. The good food and excellent service more than makes up for it for me. The bread pudding is to die for!!!!

I love Limon and go quite often. We went on NYE with a reservation and they sat us 45 minutes late with no apology or excuse. Because of that they rushed us through our meal and told us we had to go shortly after we finished our plates. We only sat at the table for 50 minutes. Our waitress was sweet but it was the main guy busing the tables that made us feel uncomfortable. He even said to us "you guys have to leave now". We left at 9:50 which is crazy on a holiday night.

The hostess was tied up on the phone for 5 minutes as we blocked the entry. We were seated after she concluded her call. We had reservations and were seated and greeted quickly. Service was attentive, not intrusive. We started with a sangria pitcher, I never pass up sangria theirs was good. Our friends who visited Peru last year said the food at Limon was very good. They enjoyed the ceviche trio and chicken empanadas which were a big hit. Aroz con Marisco (paella) was delicious. Terrific seasoning cooked well, no rubbery seafoods. A little pricey but we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The music was a little loud, my biggest complaint. I will be trying the Burlingam ed location as we dont get to the city too often.

We had the Holiday Party for our Unit at work at Limon Rotisserie, and everyone loved it. We had reservations plus arrived early before the lunch rush, and were seated in a quiet corner with windows.
The food was delicious, the service friendly and attentive, and all of us want to return soon!

Food was fresh and tasted good, however, service was a miss. We've ordered starters and drinks, asked for water and waiting period began. After about 15 min, we've got the drinks, however, kids had to wait for water for another 10. It was all good, until the food came, and for unknown reason they've decided to bring out our ceviche starters together with our main dishes. This was really weird and unexpected.
When I've made a reservation, since it was a birthday party, I've asked for a table in a corner (hate the tables in a middle of a restaurant) and that request was made five days prior to the date. When we've arrived, we were seated at the only available table...you've guessed correctly...it was the middle one, which spoiled it for me a little.
I would come back again for food, their chicken is really good, but not with a large party, or better yet, will get it to go...until they will learn how to pay attention and address requests from their guests when reservations are made

We were a group of friends celebrating the holidays together. The cocktails were great and the food we did have was good. There was so much confusion about where to seat us, even though we had a reservation. Initially we were going to be seated upstairs but it was was too little room for our part of 12 so we were moved Dow stairs. Our server did fine on our drink orders but not so much on the food orders. We ordered empenadas (two orders) to start which took a half hour. We ordered dinner but only half was delivered. When we asked about the rest, the server seemed surprised. We had more drinks but everyone left that table hungry.

I booked a table for 7.15pm. I got our table at 7.45pm. I understand timing is not precise but a 30 min wait is a long time. Especially as they ask everyone waiting for their table to wait outside and that I'm 7 month pregnant. I don't appreciate overbooking tables.

Food and service were okay. I think it was too noisy downstairs and people in my party could not hear each other very well.
