Our dinner was beyond delicious, can’t stop thinking about the shrimp scampi app makes you want to drink the broth. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing with an old school feel. Everything regarding the food has a special touch to make it unique. The service is exceptionally good, very attentive. Our new favorite restaurant.
As always, The Lime Lite delivered. Anniversary dinner with my wife was outstanding. Reservations easy and table ready on-time through open table. Rarely have I ever waited more than 1 minute when reservations have been made. The seating is nice and cozy for couples, middle of the floor for groups, but otherwise accommodating for the space they occupy. This is a cozy restaurant, reservations are recommended. The bar always mixes a good drink and we bring our own bottle of wine to have with dinner. This has and likely always will be a regular stop for us for years to come.
Friendly and polite waitress good service besides the bread and butter arrived late overall good experience
We live nearby, the place has been pleasantly updated as has the menu. The chef periodically, updates the menu and items are presently very nicely. Service is friendly but not always in your face. Each time we go was tend to say "why arent we coming here more often?"
They used to have pan roasted salmon over goat cheese enchiladas...but it went the way of menu updates. Maybe the time it took to write the review will be rewarded with its return.
If possible, get Clint for your waiter. He makes your dining an experience!
The only complaint was paying $60.00 for a lobster dinner and the lobster was pretty dry and definitely over cooked......normally it's absolutely perfect......seemed as though they made them ahead of time and kept them in a warmer.
Came because I was craving a prime rib- they "were out" so I ordered the filet medium rare (like all filets should be) and it came medium well. I didn't want to pay $50 for beef jerky so I asked for another medium rare filet, and again I got another steak that was medium well... not very impressed. Medium rare filet mignon should be a staple at all nice restaurants.
Bummed there was no rice pilaf on the menu anymore. My wife love it last time we ate here. The calamari appetizer was better than we thought it would be. We split a wedge salad and neither one of us finished it due to the excessive amount of dressing. It was like wedge soup.
My rib eye was perfect. The twice baked potatoes and green beans were also on point.
Wife got the prime rib. Found a hair on it right away. I told her to say something but she chose not to. She ordered it “medium” and half of it looked completely raw so she ate off the other side. She said she would’ve said something had she been hungrier, but we had bread and the appetizer and salad so she was ok.
Our waitress Ariana gave us a complimentary dessert since we were on a late Valentines Day date. We both felt bad that we couldn’t eat more of it, but she boxed it up for us before we left.
Our drinks never ran out and it was a pretty decent meal, all things considered.
Service is always top notch and food is amazing. Has more of an old school feel to it.
My husband and I were attending a show and decided to check out the Lime Lite. The service was very good and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Overall the food was pretty tasty, although I would say the prices were a little high for the quality.
A Valentine's Day dinner (which is often not the best time to review a restaurant), but it is also our anniversary, so we muddle through the busy Valentine's Day dinners.
Our food was so, so good! Lobster bisque and tuna tartare some of the best we have had. The rib eye and cioppino was delicious. This was our first visit to Lime Lite, but we will definitely be back.... maybe tomorrow!!
The Limelight is always wonderful.
This was our 3rd Valentines Day dinner at Lime Lite. The food was outstanding and the service was spot on.
To begin with we did not get the booth we requested and reserved. The 60.00 lobster dinner took half an hour and came to us overcooked, rubbery and dry. Though they brought another lobster one was still overcooked, while the other was undercooked on one half and overcooked on the other. The sides included Brussel sprouts the were either black and overcooked or hard and inedible. The twice baked half of a potato looked and tasted store bought and microwaved. Will never go back.
Amazing atmosphere, the waitress was one of the best I have ever had. She paced our meal perfectly doing well to have space for conversation without too long of a wait for the next course. The food was incredible. The ribeye cooked perfectly and the lamb was delicious. Can’t wait to go back
Excellent, interesting food and good sound insulation. Service was great. Price very reasonable for high quality food and presentation.
We enjoyed our meal very much. The seafood louis was a great meal and a great price. Noel was just wonderful. We will be back for sure...
Great Ambiance, our service was excellent, drinks were delicious, appetizers were the best! Celebrated Dad's birthday and it was perfect! Shout out to Rex for his amazing cooking skills.
As always, we enjoyed a delicious pre show meal that was quickly served by a friendly server!
This is a gem of a restaurant that is my go to!
I took my daughter there to celebrate her birthday. She had the sand dabs and I had the seafood louie. The seafood is very fresh and portions are large. Our server was very pleasant and attentive.
OMG, we LOVED our dinner here!!!! Food was amazing, including dessert. We loved teasing our poor waiter, who was on his last night of being "shadowed" by another of the waitstaff. He was such a good sport, and we really had a lovely evening. We'll be going back in February for my sister's birthday. Great place!!!!!!
I love this place always good food have never had a bad meal. Not the cheapest place wish it was a little more affordable so I could eat there more often. Clint was our server great service . Can't wait to go back...
The building isn't that big, but it's stunning on the inside. This is a place you want to reserve due to the fact that their busy all hours of operation. Our table was too small (for 2 adults) but that wouldn't stop me from going again. The food was GREAT! We waited a while once we got seated to order off the menu, but it was worth the wait. This is a great find for a date night, family gathering or even place for friends to meet up to have a drink at the bar.
We will absolutely return.
The Surf and Turf Appetizer was incredible, and the Rib eye was delicious.
Kudo's to the chefs/cooks I've never had a more tender cut of meat in my life. Absolutely recommended.
Waitress was really friendly and food was amazing!
First time at The Lime Lite. Our table was ready within minutes of reserved time. Service was friendly, attentive and quick to resolve one minor snafu. Food was amazing, from soup to salad to entree and dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. Great wine list also. This place is truly a dining gem and we will definitely keep on our list when we want a fine dining experience.
Nice lunch at the Lime Lite a few days ago. While better than any of the well known meat and potatoes places, Max's has nothing to worry about...
Fantastic food, very nice ambiance .We really enjoyed our dinner and loved the feel of the restaurant. Our server was ok, she was the only employee there that didn’t seem top notch. Everything was fresh and the presentation was beautiful. We live in the neighborhood and plan to come back often.
Always a great dinner at the Lime Lite with the owner choming buy the table and visiting making sure that we had everything we wanted. Would recommend to everyone
Cliff, our waiter, was very attentive and knowledgeable. Great overall dining experience and the prime rib was excellent!!
My friend and I have lunch together at Lime Lite monthly. The food is always excellent! The environment is very pleasing.
Overall experience was great. Natalie was fantastic!
The food was exceptional. Everyone's dish was delicious.
We were celebrating a friend's birthday and expected to do happy hour before our reservation.
We were very surprised that there was no happy hour. That is the only negative comment we have. We were expecting to get a glass of wine and calamari before dinner. You have a wonderful happy hour so we were disappointed.
My husband and I enjoyed dinner there after walking Christmas tree lane. We sat at a good table and had prompt service. The food and drinks were fine too
Dinner at the Lime Light was amazing! The place was beautiful and the old fashion style was very comfortable. The service was outstanding! The food was amazing. Everything we ordered was a 5 Star. It is a little pricy but you get what you pay for. Great evening!
The food was a bit overpriced. I am a chef my self and can say the food was very good but still over priced. With how loud it was and the TVs and just over all, it felt more like a bar than a nice restaurant. The waitress we had looking beat up and unkept continusly grabbed my plates lifting them up and then asking if I was done. We had to ask for refills due to our waitress never coming to ask. I wasn’t even done with my prime rib but since her fingers were in the juices I told her to just take it. I think with a better leadership this place could be great. Again the food was very good just over priced. I wouldn’t recommend for a nice night out but would for a good dinner.
Great dinner specials along w8th old standbys
Clint our server was spot on with attention and timing
Our visit was perfect. The food and service were excellent. Will definitely return !!!
New server but all went well. Very helpful. Thanked us for tip.
two of the four meals came out 10 minute ahead- so we were in the ackward situation of do we wait or eat cold food- not good- the salmon was under cooked and was sent back- it came back like it wasn't even heated up (still undercooked)- we have enjoyed the LL in the past, but this was a very bad experience- probably need to find a new resturant
Nice and quiet. Kind of a dark club feel which I️ like.
