Consistently good. Love this place.
Great service and the freshest seafood
The service, friendly staff and beautiful decor added to a fabulous dining experience.
My compliments to the chef, from a chef!
The best Grilled Octopus I’ve ever tasted; a must if you like octopus.
Everything was outstanding! The grilled octopus was my favorite as well as the stacked eggplant/zucchini tower. My son had the veal chop and he said it was delicious!
Wonderful dining experience.
Met friends for dinner. No surprises here. the attention and service was stellar and the fish Was fresh and cooked to perfection
My lamb chops were excellent and cooked to perfection. Service is wonderful. Octopus appetizer is my fave-I order it every time ! Greek specialties are delicious. Don’t miss the chips!
Not impressed with the chicken soup . Everything else was good . Service was good
As we where in Manhasstet we decided to try Limani in Rosyln (we usually go to Limani in Manhattan) We were very nicely surprised by the space, by the very good food and portions served and by the attentive service. Very nice experience, better than Limani in NYC. We might decide to take another drive to Roslyn, next time we want to go to Limani. Congratulations to the Manager and entire team.
Food and service was excellent. The restaurant was busy but they did not rush our dining experience
Great food, great service, perfect ambience.
This restaurant has exceptional food and service. If you are lucky enough to go for the early bird special it is an amazing value. Nice ambiance but a bit noisy.
Great dinner and service. Food was a little bland but noting to stress over.
Was seated by open kitchen. Enjoyed the the quiet of the service area. The food was served promptly and it was delicious. The messe was wonderful, not heavily garlicky and was very creamy. My grilled calamari was delicious but was in a small pool of oil. My husband had the baked gigantes(Lima beans) and he loved them. My chicken was moist and just cooked through. My daughter and her fiancé had the shrimp in tomato sauce. Again it was swimming in the sauce. Less I think would have been better as they left it in the plate. The Greek fries were delicious potato chips and the cauliflower and broccoli were tasteless. Dessert was copious. One serving of baklava could have served 3 people. Three medium pieces. Should have been warned. The cookies were good .
The service was attentive until the entree was served then it was sparse.
All in all if price isn’t a thing then you are getting your money’s worth quantitatively.
Always a great time
always a great experience. meal and service are always perfect!
Not disappointed, very good the waiter Abraham was exceptional
Not as good as last year for the Valentines Dinner. My wife had to send back a dish twice and we are not sure if the staging was off. As we left, no one offered my wife a rose as in prior years.
And of course, my wife ordered decaf tea and there was an upcharge of $4 as not being included in the special dinner. I questioned the charge and it stayed on. The attentive service could not overcome the faults we found in the experience that evening. We will come back and try again and with a local location being opened, we will try this as well. But, management did not do as good a job as it should have.
Limani consistently excellent!
As always , the food and service were above your average restaurant.
Was expecting an a la cart menu but they offered only a prix fixe-not advertised at booking
Choices within 3 of the 4 courses were good but we were planning on a light fare
Extra drink charges were put on my bill which I did not order creating a very embarrassing situation where I had to ask my date if she had ordered a round that I was not aware of. When I called the manage the next day he seemed very uninterested in making we happy about what I believe was a deliberate over charge. If you go look at you bill closely!
Everything was great about this place except the drink. I ordered a cocktail (Midas) from the menu and it should have "Woodford Reserve bourbon" as one of the main ingredients. The bartender used "Bullet" (a cheaper bourbon) to make the cocktail. I was very disappointed. I mentioned it to one of the managers at the end of our dinner (at the gate) and he said nothing (not even a sorry!). I didn't want to ruin my evening so I just left. But a restaurant as Limani's standard I think it is unacceptable to use cheaper alcohol to make a cocktail when the menu specifically mentioned something else. Management should take a look. I will think twice before I visit next time.
Food was excellent! Service impeccable
Best service and food .. we are here as much as we can ! Love it !
Limani is one of the best restaurants on Long Island for Mediterranean/seafood. From the drinks, to service, and food, everything is always top notch. Limani is one of my favorite places for date nights and special occasions.
Must check prices before order, over price for seafood that sold by weight.
Food is always excellent, but pricey.
You dine here!
Great food, great atmosphere, great service!!! We will definitely return
and recommend to others.
My meal was lukewarm. Waitstaff rushed us for next seating.
The restaurant was beautifully decorated. It was crowded on a Friday night but we were seated immediately for our reservation. Wait staff very friendly & attentive. Started with grilled octopus appetizer portion was huge! Entrees were delicious. We ordered the chocolate souffle for dessert and it was outstanding. The waiter also brought greek yogurt and cookies for the table on the house. Even the desserts were delicious!
We celebrated a birthday with Their price fixed lunch Great value and plenty to eat I had the branzino which was delicious
Calamari was cold & tough...sent back, came back crispier but tough.
Lobster bisque was very watery. Lamb chops were gritty and cold. Bronzino, was also barely warm, and no raste. We did mention but nothing was done but "this is how it is"?????
Food was barely warm. For such a "highly" recommended restaurant We were very disappointed. Pretty place
Love Limani - for lunch or dinner. Major occasion or for a dinner out. Had a few major parties there and they were wonderful as well. Delicious, healthy food presented in a beautiful environment.
Beautiful space. Staff is accommodating and courteous. Food was delicious!
It was lunch and it was perfect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The restaurant was beautiful and had 3 rooms to chose from . We chose the quiet back room . The is s bar room with tv and the larger main dining room good for families. The staff was most attentive and the service great . We loved the price fixed 4 course menu of fresh authentic Greek food ! We love this restaurant !
I booked through open table over a month ago and noted that we were celebrating a birthday and request for table in quieter area due to cochlear implant wearer. We arrived and noticed how cold reception area was. There were thre empty tables behind reception desk, most likely due to the very cold drag from the door remaining open. We were told to wait in bar and after 20 minutes, we were escorted to the table behind reception desk. I requested a different table and was told there were none. I said we would wait and was told there would be none others available. Our waiter was friendly and efficient and tried to do his best. At one point I afked the manager if he could close the front door, and he responded that he was looking for someone to stand there, rather than just closing the door. Our waiter saw that the door was open again and ran to close it. We were not dressed to be dining outside and the very cold draft from door made it impossible to enjoy our meal. On another note my $20 drink was all ice and we found the food to be average in comparison to other area restaurants in the area at that price point. I guess it’s great to be a regular there, but we will never know as we won’t be returning.
Last night (Jan. 13th, 18), Limani was transformed into a zoo of people. There were lots of "groups", parties, youngsters and the noise level was above anything we can describe.
The waiters rushed us from the start. Instead of first asking what we would like to drink, they started telling us what the specials were and trying to take our orders (we didn't even have a chance to sit down properly). This is not acceptable behavior. The restaurant tried to accommodate EVERYONE, on account of everyone's discomfort. The "coat lady" had lots of coats falling off the hangers, on the floor, many people arguing with her about whose coat is which. It took us about 5 minutes to make our way out of the crowds. Wall to wall people. It looked like a street demonstration, not a restaurant. We were patrons of this place often and for many years but, last evening we decided that if Limani doesn't appreciate its customers, the
customers have many other choices.
I’ve always loved Limani over the other neighborhood restaurants that have been trying to be Limani. Food and atmosphere excellent. One thing I notice has changed, the servers and staff are unfriendly and a bit rude and tend to rush you through your meal. I was disappointed because that was the main reason why I avoided the other places . Hopefully this was just a chance evening and not the new standard for them.
Very well prepared food. Pricey. Special prix fix are great.
