Hola excellent food, many choices to decide, try filet of sole.
We love this place - the food is always so good and the service is always perfect !!
Am a regular here and missed it over the last 15 months.
Always a great meal, service and ambience.
The presentation never disappoints.
When full capacity the noise level is high but tiday it was actually very quiet…too quiet.
Still delicious. Ate inside; forgot how nice it was in there. Food is so fresh and good. Seafood ceviche was outstanding. I had fresh grilled fish, wife had the big eye tuna. Table shared the fried zucchini and eggplant - a must. Then the baklava for dessert. It wasn’t the traditional baklava -was a fun and very really good play on it. Would definitely order it again. Service was excellent.
Fabulous night out! Wonderful food especially the crab cakes and the ceviche! Terrific service too.
The appetizers -- shrimp on a bed of avocado and lightly breaded scallops -- were perfect, while the sea bass was so fresh that it winked up from the plate. Yogurt laced with honey melted on the tongue, accompanied by a refreshing falanghina.
I am giving this low rating because of the host’s rude behavior. First he refused to seat us outside claiming that rain was coming (was not). Then did not want to seat us because we were only going to have appetizers and dessert. When I pointed out to him that my office was across the street and that I frequently dine there and even had lunch at Limani few hours prior, then the attitude changed. I was with 4 of my staff members. Though the food is in general good and some waiters are super nice, there is a managerial arrogance there that turns on off. I hope that the owner reads my message and takes corrective action.
Excellent service and food was great... will be coming back
The mezze appetizer was excellent and their seafood is always perfect.
Fabulous dinner,, Great service,, Warm and Friendly staff!!
I’m a veteran diner in Manhattan and been here before. The food is average and overpriced.
There are SOOO many other restaurants that are much more enjoyable than this one.
Tuna tartare was warm and over seasoned, we skipped out on the main course since everything was sub par.
They even gave me a hard time over a virgin cocktail!
I’ve been to Limani over seven times and it’s always great. The food is suburb. The drinks are delicious. The service is top-notch. The ambiance is peaceful and quaint. No complaints — ever! Always a good choice for lunch or dinner.
Wonderful in every way
Wonderful lunch en plein air!
Excellent service and delicious food.
Delicious Generous portions
But wine list VERY expensive
Beautiful ambiance. Beautiful service.
Restaurant wasn’t particularly busy but service was slow and not completely attentive.
From the moment we walked inside the door until we left, our experience was extremely pleasant. The ambiance was lovely and the food was outstanding. I ordered the crab cake and it was absolutely delicious and very pleasing to look at also.
My friend ordered the avocado stuffed with shrimp, and it was very good, too. She smeared it on the bread that accompanied our meal, and it was wonderful.
My salmon was grilled to perfection and very moist. The sea bass was “the best she had ever tasted” and was perfectly charred, both flaky and flavorful.
It was a special birthday luncheon, and my friends’ walnut cake came with a surprise candle, perfecting the celebration. I ordered the Greek yogurt with honey and toasted walnuts, and I hate to repeat my friend’s words, but, “It was the best I have ever had.”
Great staff and great food always make a special occasion even more special. A shout out to Samuel for perfection at his job.
As always it’s always a perfect time at Limani
The atmosphere in the restaurant was very welcoming and beautiful. It gave an expensive feeling to the place with the set up but the food was not as flavorful as I thought it would’ve been. Maybe I’ll trying something else next time.
Was here for mother’s day. Ordered two loup de mer and was given one, and the server presumed that the one order was to share between two people. “Didn’t want to give you too much” was the excuse. Wasn’t the point, was given one, and I didn’t want to bother with it one more time so ordered calamari instead. Bland, I don’t recommend it. In the process of getting the table cleared, a large piece of grilled onion landed on my elderly dad’s shirt.
Come on. I’ve been here so many times over the years, and it’s always been good. This was the last time I was going back.
Very good food. Fresh seafood. Excellent ingredients. Rather expensive but normal for midtown NYC.
It was amazing place
The service was excellent... the staff were exceptional. My food choice on the other hand weren’t as I expected but the presentation was outstanding
It was so good to dine at Limani again! The food was excellent, the portions generous, the service reliably slow (just as in the past) and the social distancing made the dinner a more intimate experience.
One of our favorites. The food and service is great.
We had to ask several waiters to find our waiter so additional drinks could be ordered. Disappointing at best.
Great food and extra friendly service.
Appetizers were ordered and took about an hour and half to be brought to the table with each one being brought out about 20 minutes after the next. My friend and I ordered our steak cooked well and it came out very uncooked. Overall I expected a lot more from this place. Had to send the steak back twice although they took it off the bill I was disappointed it was my BirthdY dinner and I didn’t have any.
It was so lovely to be outside and enjoy a beautiful lunch in Rockefellar Center this week. Spring in NYC is in full bloom and Limani was on point- great lunch, great ambiance, lovely outdoor seating and wonderful service! Thank you!
Excellent restaurant, Best octopus and Baklava to die for.
By far the best baklava I have tried. :)
Great food and service. Perfect for socially distant outdoor seating. On the plaza so less traffic than street. Pricey but good for special occasions.
Excellent food and service! This is one of the most elegant places in Midtown West.
Fabulous service, friendly atmosphere. Great Food!!
Ermir is the best waiter I have ever met!!!!
Very fresh seafood. Excellent and attentive service, however we were there on a slower evening. A bit pricey, but it is at the Rockefeller. Comparable to other high end places in midtown.
Outstanding staff and very welcoming. Excellent food
Excellent experience, the service, the menu selection, this place is amazing!
