Good food, good ambience, average service. Extremely loud and very difficult to have conversation. Not worth coming back.

Beautiful surroundings, superior service and top notch food.... can't beat it, especially for the location. Rockefeller Center is magical this time of year.

One of the best meals we had in NY at that price range. The calamari and crab cakes and grilled dorado were amazing.

The Pre Fix is a great deal. The food is lovely and I just love the Greek yogurt dessert. I’d order just to get that. Nice atmosphere. Good for spotting celebrities

My husband and I do not get a chance to go out often , we have a two year old and a 2 month old, so when we got the opportunity to go out for our anniversary I knew I wanted to go somewhere special. I did some research and landed on Limani, the online reviews were glowing. The second we walked into the door we were greeted warmly. The ambiance is amazing, the place is beautiful, the waiters are excellent, the drinks are delicious and the food is too die for. I can’t wait to visit again.

The food was magnificent. Great restaurant. Great service. Highly recommend.

I am of Greek descent and usually avoid Greek restaurants. The octopus appetizer was better than any octopus I’ve eaten in Greece.

I can’t think of another restaurant where all the staff you come into contact with remember your seating preferences and what you ordered the last time you were there. This is one of the many elements that makes Limani- NYC a favorite restaurant for us. Fresh (in many cases, live) seafood—some of which are hard to encounter here in New York, such as carabineiros, langoustines, and Portuguese sardines—are simply but expertly prepared and the vegetable side dishes are also simple and full of flavor. Flawless service and a minimal, elegant (but not cold) décor round out this wonderful restaurant where we have celebrated quite a few birthdays, anniversaries, and other special dinners.

Acoustics are terrible, restaurant was way too loud for a lunch meeting.

Can’t hold a conversation and hear the other people at table.

Waiters were rude, just wanted to rush us out to turnover the table.

Spirited vibe, elegant and , classy, yet trendy decor, this Mediterranean restaurant in mid-town is always a winner for us! Pricey for a regular night out, but worth it for a special dinner with friends or celebrations.

Had a wonderful girls lunch today! We started with the feta wrapped in phyllo with honey..Amazing taste of Greece! I ordered off the lunch Prix-fix menu, started with the Mediterranean Mezze then followed by the Shrimp Saganaki with risotto. My friend got the Arugula Salad which was such a great portion and very refreshing. Our server was very attentive to our table and made our experience a great one! The ambience was fantastic. To continue our experience we ordered the Karidopita which was very tasty..we also received a complimentary dessert which everyone needs to have when they go..Cracked “spasmeno” Bakalava! I would even go back just for dessert, just Amazing -Flavorful!!

The women who work the seating and reservations desk are disorganized and incompetent...had a 1pm reservation and was not seated till 120pm.
They were busy looking at their phones versus seeing when tables were open!

The food was really good however the hospitality experience was poor. Mostly at the door when we seemed way more excited than the host that didn’t bother to welcome us at arrival or thank us when we left - too mechanic, not genuine. Ambience is nice.

Place is pompous and so are the waiters.
Definitely a bankers paradise. Not many creative types in there which should have been expected

Great service. Staff seated up in the prefect spot. Food was delicious although they didn’t have what I wouldn’t hoped to try but next time I’ll definitely have to try

Very good seafood prepared in a classical way, however not very creative. Service quite hectic (even if restaurant not fully booked) and not everytime friendly. Dishes have good size, what justifies high price level a bit (on the other hand simple way of preparation, see above).

Enjoyed the lunch pre-fixe

Delightful; the setting, service and food...each fabulous.

Limani is an amazing seafood restaurant. We had stone crabs, oysters, a whole fish that was cut into sashimi for us. The service is impeccable. The noise level is a bit much. And all of this comes at a price....a high price. Our bill came to over $200 a person (including drinks). But we keep coming back.

Extraordinary!! The food and quality of service was beyond my expectations- celebrating niece’s birthday.

We never got to eat. We couldn’t get anyone to wait on us. We finally gave up and left.

Second time coming here. Food is always outstanding. The service is attentive. The prices are really high though for the size of the portions. This time we did the price fixe, so was a little better. But the crab cake app was the size of a literal silver dollar. It tasted fantastic, but there was so little of it, really disappointing. The lobster with it's $8 supplement was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. But very small lobster. Was supposed to be 1.5 lb, but thinking more like 1.25 if that. Still it was so wonderful, really, we were not disappointed. One thing, above the pool, the ceiling is hanging down with huge grey dust strands. Against the white fabric it is quite noticeable and off-putting as I was facing it throughout dinner. Still, the food is so good we will keep coming back.

Theater day

I have dined at Limani many times and have always been happy with the experience. The food is always spot on. Unfortunately, the service was significantly lacking at our last dinner there. Throughout the meal no one ever checked in to ask if we wanted refills on our drinks. Additionally, we ordered 2 items (a side of veggies and then a cappuccino) that never came. I still gave it a 3 star rating and would recommend to a friend because we have never had a bad service experience before so I am assuming this was a fluke, and the food has always been terrific.
