Two can din special was very appealing. Food was good and service attentive
Service was exceptionally good. Food excellent. Ambience was quiet and very relaxed. The staff made the evening special.
Very nice place with a beautiful view of the Bay. Tables were all for four or more so it wasn't as cozy as having a table for two. I had crab cakes and they were delicious. My date have filet and cake. The filet was a little over seared making it hard and charred in spots and neither of us liked the burgundy sauce. However, maybe it was an excellent sauce and we just don't like burgundy sauce. Regardless, the typical bearnaise sauce would have been better in our opinions. Overall, we enjoyed and would go back again.
The restaurant was super accommodating- somehow we had a reservation (through Open Table) that was before the restaurant even opened- and they went ahead and got us a table. It was a full hour before they were supposed to open, so it was definitely above and beyond. That being said, the quality of the food compared to the price was not great. It was a beautiful restaurant, though not very comfortable, and the seats were very hard for my kids to sit in. Overall, I wasn't all that impressed, but perhaps it was our unique (and somewhat bizarre) experience!
For a rainy holiday night, we found the restaurant quite empty, which we were fine with. The hustle and bustle of the prior week/weekend meant we needed some quiet quality time. The food wasn't quite as good as our prior experience and the server seemed a little 'not put together' but it didn't affect thr experience we needed to have.
Picturesque view and good service. The warm chocolate chip cookies were a nice treat
Loved the Greek Salad. It was a little different with salami, you could add chicken, shrimp, salmon, or beef, and it had romaine, feta, olives, pepperconi, and a very good dressing and a Parmesan cracker. I have returned since for another one. Soups are good too and their brownie, ice cream dessert was my husband's passion for wanting to return. We will be returning.
Delicious crab soup with HUGE chunks of fresh meat. But shrimp and grits was disappointing with over cooked shrimp and wallpaper paste for grits. Beautiful view
The food was excellent and our waiter provided great service too. The hostess was welcoming and very sweet. We all loved the cookies!
We had another wonderful meal at Lighthouse Sound. We ordered off the new menu and enjoyed Veal Saltimbocca and blue cheese encrusted Filet Mignon. Two winners! And a gorgeous view of the OC skyline to boot!
