   Birthday dinner for my wife. Food was excellent and the staff was great. Only issue is we waited way to long for the entree and had to rush the meal to attend another event.

   Our party of 7 loved this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. The drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts that we all got were top notch and well prepared. We loved the unique ambiance of this restaurant and the service was impeccable! 5 stars all the way.

   Table was ready immediately which was great. Could hear the music from the bar only. Music in the dining room would have been nice. Seemed a little cold and the lights were a little bright where we sat towards the front. Waiter was great and efficient. Food was delicious. Had enough to bring some of our entrees home.

   Loved everything! The best lobster bisque ! We loved the menu and changed our order when the waiter told us the specials ! Will be back soon

   Wonderful restaurant. Had the arugula salad and crab cakes, both very tasty with berries and cream for dessert. They even provided complimentary champagne for our anniversary!

   We live 30 miles away but we never mind the drive when dining at the Lightfoot. It's a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and helpful, friendly service. We like to go there for special occasions and were there most recently for Easter lunch with family and friends. Everyone found their food delicious and we had a great time.

   We celebrated a wonderful birthday with 8 at the restaurant over a very busy weekend. The staff, food and atmosphere were exceptional. Everyone had a great time adn enjoyed the food tremendously!

   The problem we had was that the kitchen was "in the weeds and food arrived late and cold"The manager gave us free desserts because of the problem.

   I made the reservation two weeks early for my daughters birthday, so it wasn't last minute. When we arrived 5 min early, they seemed to be debating where to seat our table of 5. Finally, they said our table was ready...so they sat us in the BAR. Had I wanted to sit in the bar area, there are a half dozen other restaurants I would have selected instead, nor would we have dressed up. When you are spending over $400 on dinner...you want table cloths and nicer surroundings. We were in the bar area with none of that...very disappointing. Not wanting to wait or cause a fuss, my wife said it would be fine. But honestly...there was no excuse seating a table of 5 celebrating a birthday back in the bar.

    Giving a less than Stella review and let me tell you why. It was date night with my wife. We joke that its the one night a week that we listen to each other. Got to the restaurant and it wasn't very busy. Unfortunately we got seated in the back corner and moments later a 10 person wedding party was seated right next to us. I couldn't hear a work for the rest of the night. There was other large table the loud folks could have been shown (though more in main isle). And unfortunately we had food and I don't think there was a table to easily move to. So being Lightfoot is one of the more expensive restaurants where I expect good food and ambiance - this was a complete fail for me. Lots of other restaurants these days I will go to instead.
