We were on vacation and chose Lift from a list of restaurants on the internet. Good menu selections. Of note is the Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Delicious and good portion sizes.

We had to ask for service after waiting 15 minutes after being seated. Food was fine a bit overrated on reviews for a tourist destination.

The Lift was close to our hotel and it already had good reviews so we thought we'd try it out. I had a burger. The burger was huge! The meat was very good and cooked just right. The toppings on my burger were all fresh and well-placed, making the burger easy to eat. Some big burgers have toppings sloppily placed and they all fall out. That was not the case with their burgers. The buns were fantastic. They really finished out the burger just right. My 19 year old son couldn't finish his burger it was so big. I'd definitely recommend trying out The Lift. Service was good and the ambiance was great.

Would have given at least 4* if they hadn’t charged $4.50 twice for 2 glasses of milk for my daughter.....Seriously more expensive than a beer?! Killed the vibe of an otherwise decent experience.

Vacationing in Jackson Hole. Beautiful little spot, burgers were top notch. Service was not good. And it took way longer than it should have due to waitress not knowing the menu, refilling drinks and not coming to get our checks so we could head out.

I love their lulu salad, they are the only ones that offer artichoke dip, which is heavenly. I think everything is great on the menu, you do need reservations. It is a popular place

Service was slow. Ordered the tuna crackers- big mistake. Sent it back and it was taken off the bill. Thankfully. Other food was extremely mediocre. Come here for bar food and drinks.

Wonderful service from the moment we walked in! The wine list is fabulous. Calamari was tough - wouldn’t recommend. Their specials were amazing and the pasta is superb. Excellent Italian food.

The Lift was a few blocks from our hotel, but the walk was easy as the weather was good and not too cold. The food is pub grub but very good and the portions are generous. We opted for soup and salad and both were excellent. The decor is definitely ski chalet and the central fireplace adds to the atmosphere.

First time visitor on a boys weekend with my 11 year old son. Excellent time. Great service and really good food — and very cost effective compared to some other places in Jackson. The only negative was we were seated at a table near the bar where some of the men were using bad language right in front of my son. But not the restaurants’s fault and they backed off when I said something. Look forward to going back.

Food was, for the most part, good. the Rainbow Trout tasted and looked like salmon. Our waitress said she's heard that before but it was trout. Soup was a little cool. All in all this was a good place to go to for a group.

The Billy burgers are great, just like the originals at Billy's downtown. Deck is enjoyable during good weather. Prices reasonable.

Located a little bit off the main drag (and that's a good thing), we got in pretty late and Lift was still busy. The bar seating was full and there weren't a lot of open booths. That had to be a good sign, right? Our server was great! She was personable and took the time to have a short conversation with us.

The beer selection was varied with quite a few options bottled and on tap.

It was a little loud, but the name says it all. Lift is for the ski crowd. It was summer, but the crowd is the same. A little younger and not necessarily interested in a quiet dinner. :-)

The food was good. I had a burger. It was fresh and came out medium-rate, just like I ordered. The bun was fantastic. If the beef had more flavor I would give the food five stars. The nachos were BIG (as described by our server). The cowboy trout and grilled salmon were good too.

This was a great stop. The service was great, the food was good, and the location outside of the main strip made parking a lot easier.

Lift's a pretty good restaurant. The food is reasonably priced and they have a fair amount of options. And, they continue to serve the ever famous Billy Burgers with waffle fries which have been a Jackson Hole favorite for decades. In a town that has a lot of expensive high end restaurants, Lift offers alternative, more comfort style food at a more reasonable price. I personally prefer the more gourmet style food. But this is one of the very few restaurants my teenage daughter can handle. So we eat here from time to time and it's consistent and the service is always good. If the previously mentioned critiques are what you're looking for, give it a try. It's hard to find reasonably priced food in Jackson. And this restaurant is one of only two reasonably priced restaurants available on OpenTable in the Jackson Hole area. So, food for thought, pun intended.
