The food is organic and local whenever possible and all poultry and meats are from farms that treat animals humanely.
The ambiance is modish but relaxed. We look forward to seeing you soon.
The deserts were excellent
Our favorite place to dine!!
I've been to Lido a few times and it's a great restaurant. On my most recent visit, unfortunately right as I started eating I found a hair in my food. The server was very apologetic and I got a new plate relatively quickly. I was disappointed, however, that nothing other than a "sorry" was offered to make up for such a gross occurrence.
Food was excellent, and service was good. Will definitely dine there again
Got to the restaurant early for my reservation was sat by the hostess immediately in a L space corners space which was fine the restaurant was empty however moments later a group came in and the hostess sat them right next to me and my guess boxing us in to the corner. The waiters couldn't reach us they were afraid to come by because they would knock into the two dinner parties that were sitting next to us so the service ended up being poor. I had to get up and reach for my food from the waiter over the other poor dinner parties heads. I had to get up and reach for my drinks from the waiter they didn't come to my table because we were boxed in which ruined the experiance. I wasn't compensated for any of the inconvenience not that I was expecting it but i would have been nice but this is and a cheap restaurant on either. I had to get out of my seat to grab the dinner from the waiter really. Dinner for 2 cost me $200 then the Food was mediocre at best the service was poor, the hostess had poor judgement and the seating arrangment was asinine.
On a rainy Tuesday night in January, Lido was filled mostly with young, attractive neighborhood people both dining and at the bar. The vibe is exciting, and the food is wonderful- beautifully prepared and presented. Much of the menu is rich, but it's well worth the food splurge. Also a very nice wine and bar selection. The service is friendly and professional, and Lido is well worth the visit.
Food was great and dessert was the best part 😍
Always a pleasure to be at Lido. They get everything right.
Great dinner with friends. Sit away from the bar if you want to have a conversation.
Service was perfect as was the pacing of courses. Every dish we had was delicious.
I went for lunch and had a delicious spaghettini with Arrabiata. Service was very friendly and the place was very cute. I would definitely go again.
We keep coming back even though we live across the bridge. We love how comfortable Lido is and the food never disappoints. It feels like "our neighborhood" place.
Lido is my favorite brunch spot. I have been coming here for 5 years. The food is good, the service is good. The mimosas stay flowing. I always recommends Lido to friends & family.
super cozy. Great food. Good wine selection. Nice neighborhood spot for dinner w friends or a casual date
Their bottomless brunch is probably the highlight of this restaurant. I was only upset when I called the restaurant to ask if they served steak and eggs for brunch and the hostess informed me that they do but when we sat down for our reservation we were told otherwise. This place does not carry steak on their menu. My bf ended up ordering meatball pasta and he enjoyed every bite so I guess that makes up for it but please next time make sure your staff knows the menu.
Waiter was brusque with me when I was asking about gluten and dairy-free options.
Lido is one of those neighborhood restaurants that you want to eat at even if you're not in the neighborhood. It's been consistently good since it opened. Italian food that's not stuck in a rut, but isn't too fussy either. Great salads, pastas, and good wine that's not over-the-top pricey. I had the muscles with white beans and red sauce and the muscles were tender and not too large, just the right size. You can be healthy or decadent, or somewhere in between, and have a great meal.
Overall my experience was great. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food wasn't the best I've had but satisfactory for boozy brunch. Mimosas are more bubbly than OJ which is always appreciated. The restaurant is cozy and clean. They originally tried to tell us we met our 2 hour time limit after just one hour but I was able to give notice to the hostess who quickly corrected the problem. Seemed a little suspect since we did have a 12:45 reservation and time was called at 1:45 pm instead of 2:45 pm so my advice would be to pay attention to when your brunch begins to avoid being cut short.
Attentive wait staff
Noise in main room is a challenge, but the atrium is terrific. Food is first rate.
Food was excellent and service was great! Lighting was nice, all round very nice dinner
Good food albeit being a little expensive if you intend on buying a three course meal. Good food, a bit spicy, but well served portions and a good selection of beverages and dishes. Nice ambient and good overall service.
My husband and I went to Lido on Christmas Eve.
Restaurant is well located in a beautiful part of Harlem. Restaurant was decorated for Christmas, nice jazzy Xmas music (not too loud). Staff was really nice and food was served very fast. Food was really good and portions were generous. Desserts were awesome. We had a great christmas eve dinner far from our family.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner. Beautiful place and great food/drinks.
Not a family friendly establishment and as a result will never come back or recommend. The host asked us to leave the reataurant after our 18 month old screamed (1st time of the night); this while we were putting on our coats to leave after we had paid. She said that we startled her and that her guests think it’s too much for a baby to cry... we asked if anyone complained and she said no. Completely disrespectful host/owner and not worth it for families.
Great food, just need to improve in service, waitress forgot our appetizer and the coffee at the time of the dessert.
Seated in outdoor section which was way too hot plus sun was blinding for person in unfortunate seat.
Food delivered quickly and was good. Mimosa was very good.
Unfortunately they put ice cream on a cookie with the flour less chocolate cake. This order was for a Coeliac. The staff handled it well and didn’t charge us for it but it took away from what was an enjoyable day waiting to see how sick she would be. As she hadn’t eaten it and we were only dealing with cross contamination she wasn’t too bad.
High priced for Harlem, but quality food. Tasty but tiny portions.
Bottomless mimosas with brunch — amazing! A bit crowded but otherwise great. Require reservations in advance to avoid the long wait.
A delightful little find off the main drag in Harlem. Codfish cakes brought a pleasing saltiness, roasted Brussels sprouts recognized back-up singer bacon is the real star, and salmon on top of a paste made of some bitter vegetable was an excellent combination. A sparse wine list needed a straight-ahead Chardonnay fallback but the obligatory signature cocktail list was excellent. While service lagged, it was attentive when it did show. The dining room shown brightly decorated with holiday lights. In short, worth getting off 125th.
Dinner for six on the enclosed patio outside in winter. Very quiet. Excellent service. VERY good food. 2 of the 6 of us had been there before, and everyone was pleased. Two had grilled salmon, which was excellent. 1 had lamb chops and loved them. One had a caesar salad for entree, and one vegetarian had an arugula salad. I don't think there were all that many vegetarian options, but 2 vegs were happy enough. Nice birthday sparkler, which I thought I was supposed to blow out (I wasn't) and the gelato was out of this world. Then we went to the Apollo for Annual Holiday Amateur Night - not amateurish at all - which was a perfect followup to the not-at-all amateur dinner.
I don’t have many restaurants that I go back to continuously because I like to try a new restaurant everytime I go out to eat but this place I go to everytime I want brunch, best mimosas HANDS DOWN!
Wait staff, not the best. He seemed annoyed. Hostess repeatedly open the door near our table in below freezing and BERY cold weather. We had to ask them to stop. We were so dumbfounded by this! Very strange. Lido was referred to us, yet we couldn’t wait to get out of there that night. Food was good, yet experience made our party of 4 feel as if we wouldn’t return.
Great food and service… One of our favorite places to dine
Delicious brunch. Food was excellent. Bottomless mimosas a definite plus. Good atmosphere and attentive waitstaff.
Nice, warm ambiance, reasonably priced, tasty dishes, sat at a great booth in the corner. Highly recommended.
Fabulous service. Had a baby with us and servers were friendly and understanding.
Really enjoyed our meal. The small plates were all excellent as was the salad. Wine by the glass choice was also excellent. It was busy enough to have a good vibe, yet not so noisy that you can't have a good conversation. Service was attentive but not imposing, and timing was very good. Didn't feel rushed and didn't feel like we were waiting for anything. I'll definitely go back.
Nice experience but both our pasta dishes were pretty average
service is getting worse. they can't even get the water in the glass.
