This restaurants prices are extortionate with very little choice, considering it is part of a hotel which it's rooms have kitchen facilities, it does not make you want to return there. 2 of our 5 meals had to be sent back as they were way undercooked and we were made to feel that we were being fussy for not wanting to eat salmon that was raw in the middle. There was no apology or even an offer of any form of compensation although by the time we received the new meals, the rest of us had long finished and they had even cleared the majority of the table , which made us feel even more awkward. Such a shame as it is such a picturesque part of the world, with much more inviting and reasonably priced restaurants minutes away.

We arrived at 11:30 for a Birthday lunch, including grown daughters who needed to get back to work by 1pm. They didn't seem quite ready for the lunch service yet and were just finishing breakfast service. But they quickly set up the table for 6 of us and let us order drinks. Since the kitchen wasn't quite ready for lunch trade, they apologized that it might take a few extra minutes for the food. But it didn't take long. The food was exquisite. We had a WONDERFUL birthday lunch. It was quiet enough for all of us to talk together around and across the table. We will definitely go back! Other folks can sit outside, we enjoyed the quiet inside. The birthday dessert with "Happy Birthday" in choclate on the rim of the dish was beautiful.

It surprised me how long it took (30 minutes) to get a glass of wine. Maybe because I was waiting for my friend who was late? But this should not exclude me from receiving service, should it? For the high class restaurant The Lido projects itself to be I would think that service would be number one, and it was not. Everyone was friendly, just not responsive.

Food was well presented and very good. Portions were not overwhelming which was nice. They were perfectly sized. Very fresh. Nice kids menu

Went to Lido for my wedding anniversary, party of five. I understand it's "fine" dining , but as a sous chef The portions are extremely petite to say the least. And neither of our ribeyes were cooked medium rare they were both medium, but the server never checked on us until the meal was completed so we have no way to correct it. And they brought me a happy birthday ice cream at the end... did I mention it was my anniversary ?

Disappointing. It was loud seated between the pool and restaurant with competing loud music. Food was overcooked. Previous visits were much more satisfactory but this was a major letdown especially gor the price.
