Marvelous! We both tried dishes we had never tried before, and they were outstanding. The atmosphere was fun and cozy at the same time. I felt relaxed but never bored. The sunset was beautiful, and everyone was having a great time. Lovely evening all around!
Love the ambience. The water views. The staff. All excellent.
But don't go there for Fish Tacos. Pathetic.
The staff is great and the outdoor seating area is nice but the oysters were a little too oily
Comida buena. Relación calidad - precio alto.
We had a great time--the food and ambiance was perfect. So nice to be on the water.
Artichokes appetizers pretty good and sliders reportedly great.
Fish tacos tasteless and boring with about 3 teaspoons of fish. Blah slaw/salad.
Salad Niciose stunningly dry and odd canned tuna. Quite weirdly seasoned.
Mixed drinks with little alcohol.
Left after a $250 lunch hungry and sober.
Waitress downgraded for dividing bill in 2 but then suggesting a tip of 20 to 25% of the whole bill on each of the divided slips....in essence suggesting a tip of 40 to 50%.
Would not return nor suggest to others.
Even the valet parking was pricy for where it was located.
Never disappoints. Always a treat...
Fantastic. Loved the ambience, view, food and the hostess staff was fabulous for accommodating our group that changed to 5 people. Brought friends in from Chicago for lunch and they could have stayed all
After spending the day by the pool and spa we decided to fine at Lido Bayside Grill. We had a waterside table with amazing views across the water to see the sun set. The atmosphere is stunning along with the sumptuous food options. Service was attentive. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!
The first thing that I was drawn to was the location and seclusion of the restaurant. Everything is out doors and by the crystal blue waters. It was stunning. The staff were kind and responsive, and the food - although limited selection - was delicious. I had fish tacos and the avocado toast with smoke salmon. During my lunch I even spotted dolphins, making the experience that much more enjoyable!
We were sat 30 minutes later than our reservation time. One of the hosts had an attitude problem as well - when I checked back in around the timing of our table, I was told in a nasty tone "I don't have a timer so I can't tell you" - kind of off-putting when you have a reservation.
Food was pretty bad too - I ordered the Branzino and it came out lukewarm at best, and was dry. Nothing worse than a piece of cold grilled fish! They seemed to have changed their menu lately, and there aren't as many choices. The ambiance is great but it's unfortunate that the food and service aren't as great.
The restaurant was fine; getting a car from the valet on a busy Sunday evening was a nightmare.
Our food was late for more than an hour, it was really annoying. But at least they gave us 25% discount which it compensate it. Nice ambiance.
We went to Lido on our way to Miami airport, on our return from our vacation. It was highly recommended for its views.
We asked for fish and skirt steak. The fish was ok. The steak was inedible. It was cold and just like rubber. We sent it back and ordered spaghetti. My husband had to watch me eat my fish while he waited for his spaghetti. We wanted to cancel the spaghetti after I finished my fish. Then the spaghetti was served. We had to rush to the airport. So my husband had to eat without chewing. We expected at least an apology or even better, not charge for the spaghetti at all. The waiter was very surprised and started a defensive argument when I told him that. I had already paid the check but, I was pushing for an apology- it never came..
The restaurant is practically on the water. The view is nice. It might be worth going there to take a look but not to eat.
Fish was cooked perfectly. Our waiter responded to special requests with a smile and quick action including moving us to a table away from a smoker. Above and beyond service.
Horrible food for such an amazing place!
One of my favorite places in Miami. Amazing brunch and views.
Food, location, service all excellent. Beware of parking fees!
My server was amazing and I love the ambiance there. One of my fave spots
Beautiful and delicious
The atmosphere was great but the food was not great and very expensive. We did have great service and a very nice evening.
Initially my first question was "Why was this place hidden?". The answer is I would want it hidden! It's that place you want keep for special friends.
Really really bad. The the waiter was completely confused and clumsy. when pouring the wine, he overturned the whole cup in my brother-in-law and the whole sauce. I ordered a lemonade without ice and he brought me a glass with ice to the brim. just to name a few things. to complete we were taking pictures when an extremely rude gentleman approached us saying that it was forbidden to enter children inside the hotel (I was with my 1 year old daughter). I argued that they should warn this on the site or prohibit reservations with children and he continued to be extremely rude. I swear I do not know why I keep going to this place with so many better ones in Miami. The view is beautiful but the food is lousy and pricey, the service is lousy and all the staff hates kids. In fact, they treat guests' dogs better than the children. What service policy is that ?!
Amazing vibes as always, food was super tasty and great service, keep up the good job!
Our family went here for lunch on Christmas Day. We were seated out by the water. The view is spectacular. The service was wonderful, from the hostesses to the wait staff to the bar staff. Unlike so many, many place in SoBe, your meal will not be accompanied by the steady thump thump thump of club beats. It is located at the Standard Hotel, which is very serene. We did not want to leave, which is why we moved over to the bar afterwards. The fish sandwich, fried chicken with salad on top of it, turkey burger and other salads were all superb. It is just great, authentic food without ridiculous bells and whistles, which is so common in trendy restaurants. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back the next time we are in MB.
The view is great and the vibe is nice. There are beautiful gardens around the restaurant and it's a great choice for outdoor dining. There are many healthy and vegetarian options on the menu. The service; however, can be a little overwhelmed during lunch time when the place is busy. We had like four servers taking care of us, which was nice, but we also had to order a soda four times to get someone to bring it to the table.
Great food and excellent view as always
With so many places to go in miami /beach, this one is on the top of my list
Consistently good....you know what you’re getting...
Great garden atmosphere to walk thru or relax before / after
Where the weather is just right this is a great place to come. Food and service great. Something for everyone. Great view of the city.
Unfortunately when we got the bill back and signed we didn’t realize that they did not return our credit card. AmEx called with fraudulent charges the next day. We go a lot to eat there and we were very disappointed. I wonder how many times this happens nightly as people are distracted upon goodbyes at the end of the evening. Overall I think it’s a good restaurant although this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth!
I always return to the Lido for the view and I really love and recommend it because of that. Unfortunately, to me, the food and service fall short compared to the great view of the Biscayne Bay. That reminds me that the cost benefit is probably not worth it. I'd probably go back only for drinks at the bar.
Cruising on land, sublime!
On the bay, spectacular view. Lovely ambience and crowd.
Branzino and green beans were on the greasy side.
Ceviche with tostones were fantastic!
Octopus was very good!
Service was spotty as it appeared they were short on staff.
Would definitely go again for views, ambience, ceviche and octopus.
Major struggle with the reservation; the company was just difficult and required several phone calls. Also on arrival, they didn’t want to sit our party because it wasn’t complete even though we had a person on crutches and a pregnant woman with us. We actually had to point that out and they
Excellent as usual! Great service awesome atmosphere, good food!
Awesome Restaurant that I will definitely revisit! Great for both a date and business dinner.
A touch disappointing that happy hour was advertised but apparently wasn't available when we were there. Pricing is just a touch too high to make this a location to frequent however the quality of the food made it completely worth it. Martini glasses need to be of higher quality seeing that they cost so much and with the cold weather heaters would have been nice instead of just blankets.
This is an absolutely fantastic place to watch the sunset and have a great date night! All said and done this place is very close to 5 stars and I have just posted the negatives so management can make the appropriate changes.
We had a great evening at the Lido bayside Grill. The ambience was great, the hostess and server treated us exceptionally and the view was outstanding.
Beautiful place, good food and amazing view . Service ok
It used to be all about the view. It's now about better food and surroundings. Worth a detour to one of Miami Beach's very few genuine waterfront venues.
Always a pleasure being here -
The Thanksgiving Special was a great idea -
Came across a bit dry and luke warm though !
Service was a little lacking this time -
The hosts were great - seating amazing !!
Love love love the view
I miss the old dinner menu in which one could select one each of proteins, sauces and veg to create one's own dinner. That was a great and inventive touch. I also mourn the disappearance of the artichauts frites. The menu is still nice but no longer great.
