Lido Bayside Grill at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach
Izakaya is a Japanese word derived from ‘I’ (stay) and ‘sakaya’ (sake shop). It’s a place to gather with good friends, good food, and good drinks. Come and stay awhile.
The food was horrible. Service wasn’t much better. Highly recommend switching back to previous menu. Big disappointment.
Always excellent food and service. The location is perfect for diner at sunset / moon rise .
Love this place! Great view and great vibe!
What’s not to love about the setting of this restaurant? The Asian-inspired menu is interesting though I do miss some staples on the previous menu. We had eager and efficient service. I confess, however, that I long for the day when restaurants like this one eschew the practice of sending food out “when it’s ready in the kitchen.” How about when I am ready for a course? How about having it MY way, since I am footing the tab?
Great water side restaurant for afternoon leisurely lunch or drinks
Love the new menu. Glad it’s still going so well
New Menu is not very impressive: food service very slow.
This is the second time we have a pretty bad meal at Lido. We love The Standard hotels and the service is great as are the locations but in Miami the food is mediocre. Our meal was similar to a cheap Chinese lunch plate meal and was about 4 times the price.
Limitted NYE menu was not very good. Waited 45 minutes for table past reservation time.
Menu uninteresting, 1/2 lobster a joke, so small you could barely see it on the plate. The snapper arrived cold, full of bones, difficult to eat, dangerous, nearly choked. Awful. don't order it. The waiter was dismissive, not sincere, very busy and hurried, couldn't wait to leave our table. It rained. Would not go there again. The new configuration has no view to speak of if you are under the tent. The music was loud so it was hard to have a conversation. The pool area has taken over. Go for a drink $10 - $20. Our bill was $179 for 4 without tip. Not worth it. We used to like the Standard years ago when it had a better menu, which though very tired was edible for the most part.
Ho adorato la location, il panorama, l’atmosfera, la gentilezza del personale, il cibo, la preparazione, l’impiattamento, la particolarità del menu, la musica, tutto! Posto consigliato, sul mare, davvero perfetto
What a beautiful location and friendly staff and good food perfect. I love the relaxed atmosphere the interesting music and the Asian menu
It was my first time dining with Lido Bayside Grill yesterday and I absolutely loved the beautiful set up, views, and food. I ordered grilled chicken with rice and they were so well done and delicious! The staff/waiters and basically everyone were so welcoming and friendly...I remember how they walked around and poured water for us and said “please drink water, we wouldn’t want you to get dehydrated” so sweet! And when I asked the waiter to take a pic, he made sure everything was perfect unlike other waiters who rush. I will definitely be coming back soon! Thank you!
Felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Service and food quality was great. Definitely worth visiting. One of my favorite spots
Always amazing in every way; the food, the atmosphere, the service, and the vibe never disappoints. The Sunday morning breakfast is our favorite and this morning’s experience was just like our previous visits - perfect.
The best, views ambiance crowd. Go for sunset or for the whole weekend’s
Me and my family went for dinner to Lido unfortunately at the time we arrived I had an incident with the valet guy, which was super rude and disrespectful! Luckily I mentioned this to Lido’s Manager Christina who complete changed my night form the worst one to the best one! I’m very grateful to her service and kindness. The restaurant is amazing with beautiful view and delicious food! Thank you very much guys!
Great location and ambience. Ok service. Good food
Outstanding service by Milena!Food was pretty good
Food was amazing. Parking rate outrageous!
The atmosphere at the Lido Bayside Grill is lovely, however the food is sub-par at best. My entree was originally delayed 10 minutes, and then 30 minutes (or I could order something else). I opted to order something else. My friend's scallops were so over-seasoned, they were almost inedible, and the duck breast was a 'stew'...very non-traditional.
Great restaurant with fantastic views of the water. Highly recommend.
Worst dining experience ever! The dish I ordered was so heavily salted and spicy it was impossible to even pretend to like it. My dining companion ordered an impossible burger. They served it on 2 pieces of toast! The waitress offered to get me another meal but at that point it just would have been waiting while my partner’s food got cold. Basically we had her meal packed and left! Totally ruined a birthday celebration! We’ve been here before and basically know that you come for the ambiance and not the food, but this was just awful!
I’ve been coming here for years, I’m a local. menu has changed to a Japanese menu and its very poor for the high prices. Tiny sharing plates and not very well thought out
Elegant and creative cuisine, knowledgeable server and very attentive staff overall. Waterfront dining makes it very romantic. Fresh seafood for sure. We had a lot of things to share and were very impressed. Nicely crafted cocktails.
Disappointing menu - disappointing food. They recently changed the menu for this restaurant. Menu seems finicky. Food didn’t settle well with my tummy or tastebuds. I went for happy hour and ate dinner and breakfast as it’s part of the hotel. Waiter made mistake in order for breakfast and at happy hour. Excellent and stunning location. However I will not rush back. Indeed, went elsewhere for remaining meals during my stay at the hotel.
Love the new Japanese menu
New menu was great. Everything was delicious (minus the lychee cheesecake... we didn’t enjoy that combination of flavor). Service started off strong but faded off... had to order a drink 3x from different servers and waited 30 minutes for it to arrive by the time we were done eating. Music was a little loud but overall we will be back. Again, new menu was great!
Was very pleasant but parking was a rip off
The waitress wasnt really freindly
My family and I ate at Lido on Saturday. Our waiter, Chad, was really great- personable, knowledgeable and attentive. The grilled shrimp and roast chicken was excellent and there were some great wine and drink options. The setting is one of the prettiest in Miami. We will definitely return!
I requested a quiet table for a date through Open Table reservations and my guests told me they had to ask to change tables because of loud construction.
I feel like nobody read my request, nobody thought about this couple having a date, and that is poor service.
Excellent service, great views, food is very good, wil come back again and again.
Well attentive staff. Great location. Great atmosphere! Had I known about it I would have stayed in the hotel.
It would be difficult to imagine a better setting to enjoy a sunset dinner in Miami
Beautiful place. We went in a rainy day and even with a bad weather we enjoyed a lot. It is an informal restaurant next to the sea where you can have a really good time. Beautiful sunset too.
Amazing experience as per usual. The standard is a go-to place if you like a nice, quiet, romantic setting. Food is A+ as well as service.
The food and service was spectacular with a great ambiance with an amazing view of Miami during sunset. The pan roasted chicken and salad were delicious. The only down side was that the valet parking lot was full and had to park and walk to the restaurant.
