We had to increase the number in our party and it was handled promptly
Great wait staff good food
Server Kenny was excellent! He was knowledgeable and prompt and recommended some great food we ordered
Very concerned that this was my second business-related visit to this restaurant which is very near to my work only to find that they continue to be unable to accept credit cards. Fortunatly, I was carrying lots of money to avoid embarassment and cover the check.
Really nice place and the food was really good! Service was also very good!
We loved Kenny and how outgoing he was with us! He made us laugh tons!
I went on the app to find a suitable nearby breakfast. The app listed three more openings for breakfast, at either 1115 or 1130. I selected the 1115 and arrived in plenty of time. I was seated immediately. I asked about a breakfast menu when a lunch menu was presented. A second wait staff came by the table and announced that breakfast was not served after 11am. I am not sure if this is an app failure or a change of schedule by the restaurant. By the time this info was presented I had already ordered and received a beverage. I elected to stay. That was the compounding error in this reservation.
The lunch meal I ordered was overly spiced. The meat in the "sandwich" was overdone. Even the tea that was refilled was weak in flavor.
I cannot leave this post without noting that the fireplace setting would've been wonderful to sit by and enjoy the expected breakfast. A little flexibility by cook staff could've made this a different post. I note there are many similar restaurants in the immediate neighborhood, and if this is the support the restaurant is getting it will disappear.
A boring restaurant set without much attempt at ambiance in an airport hotel at O'Hare. To its credit, the restaurant served pretty decent food. The server, within the limitations of his training, was responsive and attentive.
The horrible setting will put off even hotel guests with no choice but to dine here, though!
Nice to be able to choose omelet ingredients and how much. Put choices in bowl and hand to preparer. My wife certainly did not eat $25 worth.
I visited this restaurant prior to a show at the Rosemont. I ordered the short rib, which was juicy and tender. My date ordered a chicken sandwich with fries, the chicken was well seasoned and the fries were not greasy at all. The service was excellent. This is a quaint restaurant with a fireplace.
The food was good. Nothing to rush back for.
Service was great, however food was fair. I don't think it was a fair value.
It’s advertised as having a brunch menu so that’s what we were searching for!! So excited!!! Got there at noon and no brunch!!! Waiter had no idea what we were talking about. So on their lunch menu they had brisket and waffles......close enough??? Sorta....we asked for everything on separate plates and so at least we got some waffles!!!
Waiter was very good, ambiance beautiful and they did acknowledge my friends birthday!!!
Arrived at the restaurant to find the main area was closed on Sundays and were directed to a bar area. Food was good and so was the service. Was a bit disappointed to be sitting in a bar though ! Meals were definitely not bar priced.
Liberty Tavern is a somewhat typical hotel restaurant. The food was good without being great. The dining room has some ambiance. The staff were attentive and friendly on what was obviously a slow night.
Good food. Waiter Kenny was very good. Drink prices are very high. Food prices are high too. $17 for pub burger is a bit much.
I hosted a group business dinner at Liberty Tavern. The food was top notch and the service was attentive. Overall, for a hotel restaurant it was very good.
Chicken was bad and I couldn't eat it. Who messes up chicken?!
Service was great, as was the food. Our overall experience was excellent from the moment I got there.
Great food. For the business meeting we had, it had everything that we could've asked for. Space we like the fireplace and the ambience as well
The best salmon I've had anywhere. Albert was excellent.
Place was empty on a Saturday service so erratic they gave 15 percent off with apologies. For nearly twenty bucks a cheeseburger could have been more special. Still lowest prices within miles though we were informed online menu used to make reservation 3 years old. Oh well
My wife and I stopped here before a show at the theater and were amazed at what a little gem this place was tucked inside the hotel.
The wait staff was excellent, courteous and friendly. We only some appetizers and wine, due to time constraint, but plan on returning to try more of the food.
WE KEEP COMING BACK! Liberty Tavern has become our tradition. A group of good friends that meet every few months continually agree that this is the best place near O'Hare airport to meet. The food is truly great and the service is even better! Located in the Hilton Hotel. And plenty of parking in the adjacent garage. Be sure to ask to have your parking ticket validated so that it doesn't cost you.
Side note: We have grown quite attached to our server, Kenny, and always request him.
I ordered trout; they served me salmon. And it was overcooked. So it's a standard hotel restaurant but not suitable for special evenings.
The host was a doll! So friendly. The waiter was also great. It was sort of quiet for a Friday night but great food and people!
Terrible food....exorbant prices....service pretty slow
Wasn't what we expected or what website provided. Was a basic hotel breakfast buffet.
Salad was too saturated with dressing. We were in a hurry, so did not mention it to Kenny, our AWESOME server!
Went for a last minute, quick bite prior to a show at the Rosemont Theater. My husband and I were both happy with our meals. But, $16 for a martini? We weren't in a swanky downtown place or anything...
Creative food for any restaurant, much less a hotel restaurant. Soups were fantastic!
Went there for Sunday brunch; however, when we got there we were informed their brunch ends at 11am. In my book the definition of brunch is breakfast at a lunch hour. So beware they offer breakfast, not brunch.
Met friends here at a conference. Menu looked interesting and turned out to be. Waiter friendly and helpful.
Nice food, cozy atmosphere and great service!! We enjoyed the varied choices of food, great for all eaters; vegetarians, meat eaters, light or comfort...delish!
Good for business breakfast in Rosemont/airport area.
Great spot to get a delicious meal. Convenient by the airport and wasn't too busy. Will be back again! The ladies at the hostess stand were very friendly and helpful.
Friendly check in by host. Waiter very helpful and knowledgeable. Food very pricey from where we come from. We had soup and appetizer very good.
Ordered hamburger to be medium well and on a toasted bun. I specified toasted bun top and bottom and waiter assured me they always come that way. Burger came white cold bun medium rare not very warm. And at this point waiter never came back to check on us that we had our food. Bun was blood soaked mushed on plate - I took one bite is was raw to me. I had only one bite our or burger left it on plate and when waiter took my plate away he saw my entire burger with one bite never asking me what was wrong or anything. Gave me our check. Not impressed at all. Very disappointed for soup, appetizer, burger for $60.00.
Ordered breakfast...had eggs benedict. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The English muffin, however, was soggy from the chopped beef. I would eat there again.
Cuban Rueben was simply not good. Meat typically marbles thus was 60% fat, the pork tasted as if left uncovered in fridge. I had sick tummy afterward.
Our server was great. Good really and reasonably priced.
