   We came to celebrate birthday to this restaurant and location cannot be better! NYC view at it’s best! Several dining rooms for different occasions. Food is great. Highly recommend restaurant overall. There is plenty of parking. Need to get a ticket at the gate and validate inside, ( unless u are in the uber. No need to validate the ticket) General manager Elena is very professional. Will definitely come back.

   Went for a friends birthday last night. Place was beautiful. Service from start to finish was impeccable but certain things rubbed me the wrong way. I thought the overall price was over the top for what we received. $13 pints, $15 virgin mojitos, bit of a stretch but ok no problem. My wife chose a bowl of just pasta with red sauce came out to $28, thought that was a reach. My buddy got the steak special and although he was told it was for 2 it was priced at $175 which I found to be another reach considering my Veal Chop special was only $42. I suppose Manhattan views equal Manhattan prices. I just thought a $600 bill on 4 people was a bit much especially since they added gratuity which I’ve never heard of for a party of less than 6 but ok no problem. Hopefully them making it a party of 6 on the check was simply oversight and not an attempt at securing 20% for any reason outside of them thinking we weren’t capable of a solid tip (my wife and I both worked the restaurant industry for over a decade and we’re usually 30% tippers). Was Liberty House an awesome experience? Definitely. Was it worth $600 on a party of 4? Not quite. I am thankful they made it memorable though.

   Went for my brother’s engagement dinner. They packed 7 of us in at a table that was better suited to 5, when we got to the table 2 chairs were missing. Dinner took 3.5 hours, our server would disappear for huge stretches of time. Food was just ok.

   One of the best restaurants I have been to. David and Carlo the General Managers are attentive, professional to say the least. The wait and bus staff are top notch. There when you need or want but not stalkerish. The Executive Chef has put together a great menu featuring local foods. Presentation to taste, all 5 stars. A definite must do restaurant.

   Dined last nice for my 6th anniversary with my wife . From the entrance to end of our dinner service was great , and everyone was very lovely. We ordered the sea bass and cavatelli . Sea bass was a little chewy , was under cooked in my opinion and the cavatelli was very delicious. The view of the place is great , right by the water with the landscape of Manhattan . I recommend .

    Great food with an even better view. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time but were slightly disappointed that they didn’t do anything for her birthday. I called ahead and also made notes in the reservation for it. But other than that we enjoyed ourselves.

    I’m not sure why they take reservations when they have several parties on site. So they cram everyone into their bar area. Oh which there was also a party taking up one side. People came to celebrate special occasions all dressed up and put them on top of each other. Then I guess hostess / manager came by at the end of our meal asked how we enjoyed the night I’m like … it was Alright…. Place is crowded you have waiters bumping into you at your table one person had their backs to the restaurant the food is subpar it was alright ….. the rice balls had no taste my husband had the pasta he didn’t even eat it my sea bass was O K ….I had a special occasion and so did so many others it was hardly a place to go celebrate something special unless you like that kind of thing there’s so many other options with the same view or even better

    The venue was great. The food was great. We had an excellent table. The view was outstanding. However sometimes when people went outside they would forget to shut the door and it would get chilly at the table.

    We had a wonderful Birthday Celebration at the Liberty House on January 6th. The service was top notch, the food and presentation was incredible. We loved the salmon and tuna. The views of the NY Skyline are beautiful! The ONLY complaint I have is the noise level in the restaurant is a bit loud. We will definitely return.

    Terrible 50th birthday dinner. Our starters came out before our bread or drinks. Our waiter completely disappeared so we were left with the menus on our table and hadn’t even ordered our mains. Nobody came to take our order so we sat with no drinks and no mains order taken. Then we got another waiter who we felt hurried us along with no apology for the poor service. I had had a call earlier in the day to confirm my reservation and they asked if it was a special day. I told them it was my 50th birthday and she said they would do something special. Nothing. So disappointed.i wanted coffee and not dessert. The rest of my family got their desserts, ate it and my coffee never came.

    Had the whole bronzino, which was perfectly cooked. With cherry tomatoes spinach, and potatoes in a light white sauce. A taste sensation. Wife had the salmon, which was delicious. Great ambiance, a little pricy especially the wines but overall a great experience.

    I visited there before and I loved the place, so I booked for Christmas eve lunch for my special guests, but unfortunately i was disappointed a lot. At first, the bread was so cold and even the butter came much later, also the server placed the bread on the napkin, not on the plate. When sever poured the water to glass, he spilled the water all aroud the table, so i had to ask him to clean up. Appetizers and entries were ok, but the dessert was horrible, was worse than just regular "wal mart" dessert. I went chart house two days before i visited there, and unfortunately, i got a lot of comparisons in my mind. If you want keep your reputation, you should make things the way better, otherwise no one would go again with this food and service with this price.

    We went for the view, but the food was just ok. Way overpriced and just ok. If I am paying close to $400 for a meal for 4 people I expect to leave full and happy. We were still hungry when we left. The desserts were the best part.

    Brandon our waiter and Carlo who was in charge provided a magnificent experience for us. Everything about this restaurant from the staff, the ambiance, the Billion-dollar view, the craft cocktails and of course the food made for an amazing holiday treat. We cannot wait to return and bring friends. It’s really easy to get to off the NJT! Fabulous wedding venue or special occasion venue.

    I think the restaurant has lost some of its prestige- you can’t rely solely on your views to keep people coming back. One of the steaks was over cooked, I ended up having to crack my lobster (leaving me with marinara all over my hands). The flavors/seasoning wasn’t anything spectacular (so much so we opted to skip dessert and go elsewhere). The drinks were good.

    My husband and I have been going to Liberty House since our first anniversary together but this year we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary! They made us specials menus wishing us a happy anniversary and were provided with a glass of Prosecco to celebrate. They were so kind and helpful when I couldn’t decide what I wanted since I’m currently not drinking. Food was absolute perfection and the atmosphere and Christmas decorations were great as well. 100% would recommend for your special occasions or even just a nice dinner out.

    The view is outstanding. The best place to see the Manhattan skyline. The food was very good though expensive. We had oysters, two pasta dishes, and salmon. There were two weddings taking place at the venue and they are definitely having a great time and taking very nice pictures. I will definitely come back but this time at night.

    Everything and everyone was well above board, from appetizers to main course to desserts. Our server Kareem was very good, as was Carlo who showed us our table and came around often to check on us. After complementing Carlo on the lengthy choices for after dinner drinks, we asked for one Not listed and he immediately said they did have it, went to bar and it was quickly delivered. Entire experience was outstanding and will certainly return.

    Appetizers: got the meatballs, they didn't have lamb so it was the normal beef and they weren't hot and the sauce wasn't hot. Like it was sitting out for a while. Entree: Got the pork chop schnitzel and it was really good! Very impressed with how it was. Desert: Got the apple blondie, it was ok at best. Definitely not worth the price.
