LIBERATORE’S Ristorante & Catering – Westminster Ratings and Reviews
Fantastic food - Crab Ravioli, lasagna, and spaghetti & meatballs were fantastic! Had enough for lunch the next day too. Took my son for dinner who attends McDaniel College and he was thrilled to have such a decadent meal! Will definitely be our regular place to go when we visit him & want to treat him to excellent food and service.
The meal was terrific, as experienced many times before. Each dish was prepared to perfection; tasty and well presented. Two diners had the chicken masala, two had the linguini crab and the other had the crab ravioli. We started with either house salads or Caesar salads. Great portions and served at the correct temperatures. There was no room for dessert after the great meals. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. It was a fantastic experience.
I live in Westminster and this was my first experience dining here. We visited because of the specials offered during Carroll county dining week and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and very nice portion size. I liked the atmosphere, it was very relaxing. We look forward to dining with them again.
High quality neighborhood restaurant. Fun to be there with the 1988 prices. Calamari was tender & a great appetizer to share. The entrees were very good - chicken florentine, lasagna, fra diavolo with a great Cabernet Sauvignon.
Special was oysters & some of our group had them & thought they were very good. Desserts were good too. Nice evening.
Liberatores is consistently pleasing. It has become one of our "go to" places when we want quality Italian food. A big surprise (as we do not often order steak) was a fantastic, melt in your mouth filet mignon prepared perfectly to order. Also, as menu items do change, I was disappointed to see one of my favorites missing from the regular selections. When I told our waitress, she was quick to say they would still be happy to make it for me. I was delighted as I hadn't had it in quite awhile and it was just as delicious as I remembered. The servers are always great at Liberatores and a manager checks with each table to see if everyone is enjoying themselves. A little known special here is their weekday lunch buffet. Soup, salad, pizza, hot entrees and dessert for a very reasonable price. From 11am-2pm, Tuesday thru Friday. It's fabulous. I highly recommend Liberatores Westminster.
Great varied menu, pasta, seafood, beef, chicken all created in traditional style as well as creative specialties. Pleasant and friendly staff give outstanding service and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. Definitely one to keep on your dining list...
We decided to try Liberatore's in Westminster since we really enjoy dining at the Timonium location. The Westminster restaurant is more casual than the Timonium restaurant. The food was good. We went there because one of our family members is relocating to the area.
Our group of usually 8 friends meet for dinner and drinks almost every Friday night and we have been going to the same place for many, many years, with a few exceptions when the weather is nice. Some of us decided we were getting bored with the same menu and decided to change it up for now on. I have been there before for restaurant week, happy hour and even a company Christmas lunch. I can always count on having a good meal and good service. It was my week to pick where we would have dinner last week and I have never been disappointed; they came through like always. Very nice menu and good wait staff.
It was a busy night due to it being restaurant week in Westminster. This may have been difficult for some restaurants to handle and still maintain the usual level of service and quality of food. It just meant that the restaurant was a little noisier than usual. This was our third recent visit and each time we have been fortunate to have Autumn as our server. Great job, keep it up.
Place was well decorated, food was good. Authentic Italian food, portion sizes were good. Price was slightly higher than I would have liked but nothing out of the ordinary. Came to celebrate 3 birthdays with a group of 10, was given a private room and everyone had a great time. I would come back.
We love Liberatore's and their food, but was disappointed this time because they had a pre-set menu for Valentine's Day so we weren't able to get exactly what we wanted. And I always love their options for dessert, but there was only 1 choice for dessert, which neither of us liked the option. So we will be back, just not for a holiday.
I am not one to nitpick at things, but I was very disappointed by my experience here. We took my boyfriends grandmother for dinner as part of her Christmas present. As soon as we got there, they couldn't find my reservation. Then, our server got snippy when my boyfriend was trying to talk to her and she was very inattentive the rest of the night. The food was so-so, good but nothing to rave about. Overall, I wouldn't go back.
My 4 English house guests wanted to treat my family to a dinner out as thank you for hosting them. I wanted a decent, local, not too expensive place that allowed me to reserve a table ahead of time. I shared the web page with my English friends before their arrival so they could get a feel of the menu. I have dined at Liberatore's many times before, so was confident that the experience would be a good one. We ordered a variety of appetisers and main courses, everything was delicious. Great job as usual. Thank you.
Have enjoyed the restaurant in the past. Easy to get in and quiet enough to be able to enjoy the conversation with friends. My husband and I were disappointed in our meals this time. The red sauce was not as flavorful as we remember it in both of the meals we ordered.
Delightful and very helpful waiter. The owner or manager (not sure which) came by to see how we liked our food. When we left, he and his friends and/or family were seated at the booth by the door eating dinner and they graciously said goodbye. A very comfortable, friendly place with well-executed Italian cuisine at very moderate prices. Quiet and cozy. I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend it to others. We had a wonderful time.
The food was innovative and delicious. The Seafood Stuffed Butternut Squash Manicotti was amazing. Great Dirty Martini. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The rest of the staff were friendly and welcoming. A very comfortable dining experience. I highly recommend this establishment.
