I enjoyed the shad special with lovely side vegetables. The service was on the spot even though we dined on a very busy night. Would have preferred a less hectic table location; felt a pressure to leave to accommodate incoming diners. All in all a good experience and we'll be back on a quieter evening.
Went on a Friday night with reservations. Restaurant has an older crowd which isn't unexpected for white tablecloth motif. They serve Italian fare with specials. Our waiter provided excellent service and the pour of wine was generous. Food was good and the ambiance even better
We decided to try Libetatore’s after reading many positive reviews of the restaurant. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the staff were patient & knowledgeable, & we had an enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend Liberatore’s to friends.
Even though it was very busy our table was ready when we arrived. Our server, Julia, was extremely professional and personable. There were four of us in our party and we all enjoyed our dinners immensely. Three of us started with an appetizer sized Caesar salad which was very fresh with just the right amount of dressing and the other had the fried oysters, one of the specials that evening. Our entrees consisted of 3 veal piccata and one salmon dish. The veal was so tender we could cut it with a fork and the sauce had the perfect amount of lemon zing and capers. The salmon arrived in a light broth that was very flavorful and was cooked perfectly. For dessert two of us shared a piece of Oreo cake that was light and not overwhelmingly sweet while another diner greatly enjoyed a slice of cheese cake that was not on the dessert tray, but our server checked the kitchen and found that it was available. We always enjoy this restaurant and can’t wait to return.
Liberatore's is one of our favorites! It was our anniversary and they greeted us with a Happy Anniversary upon our entrance. The waiter was attentive yet not over bearing so service was perfect. We were given free dessert for the occasion. The food was to die for!
We visited on a very busy Saturday and had great service and a great tasting meal. They were very busy and noisy in the main dining room, but had a smaller room opened in the back and we were seated there - nicer and quieter! Food and service did not suffer despite the crowd.

Companion had the veal Sam Boca which they enjoyed very much. Honored guest had veal chop & loved it. Maureen was our server & recommendations on the Libratore salad & tomatoes & moserello was spot on. For the birthday each dessert was brought out & sampled. Homemade cheesecake & terramisue we’re first rate. A fun evening for all
When you are paying $25.00 or more for an entree and ask to substitute steamed spinach for the side of pasta that comes with your meal and are told there is an up charge of $6.50, that is totally ridiculous, especially when you've ordered wine and appetizers as well. I've been to other restaurants where they accomodate such dietary requests at no charge and to me the up charge should at best be nominal and not the full price of a side order. That's really tacky!
We were having a small family reunion and our server was outstanding. You were not to capacity and since we knew we were going to be there for some time, we explained to our server and she was completely understanding and very attentive. I love to come there for dinner!!!
I received an email saying that my reservation was cancelled by the restaurant. This caused a good deal of confusion with our friends. I emailed, and called to see what was the problem. No answer. They didn't know what happened, how I got the cancellation email??? Good thing I was persistent. With less time to deal we would have eaten elsewhere.
We went for dinner with two other couples and luckily remembered to call ahead to request a round table to make conversation easier since the restaurant can get loud. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our server, Robert, was very welcoming even though we noticed he had about four tables seated around the same time. He slowly went over the specials describing each in detail and promptly took our drink orders. For appetizers the Caesar salads were very crisp and fresh and the Pasta Fagioli soup was delicious. For entrees two of us ordered the red snapper which was one of the specials. It was dredged in egg wash, slightly breaded and lightly pan seared covered in a lemon butter sauce. It was so good that we hated to take the last bite and finish it. We both said we wished we had more even though it was a large piece of fish. The crisp green beans and slices of squash were the perfect accompaniments. The other diners all raved about their meals as well - eggplant parm, 2 veal Marsala, and salmon. Definitely save room for dessert!!! We shared pieces of Oreo cake, coconut cake and cheesecake, all of which were sinfully delightful. We decided to make this our "go to" restaurant when the six of us get together.
We had a predictably delicious and well prepared dinner at Liberatores Tuesday night. The restaurant was fairly crowded and although the wait staff was pleasant and apparently well trained, they were seriously understaffed and the service was painfully slow. Especially at the end when we had to hunt the waiter down to get our bill. We'll return because we've eater there many times and this is the first bad experience that we've had. BUT if it were to happen repeatedly, we would find another favorite local italian restaurant.
Overall very good, especially the Fettuccine Bolognese. It was busy and slightly noisy for a Monday night but it was 1/2 price wine night so it was worth it. The service seemed a bit slower than usual probably because there were several large groups who all seemed to be ordering around the same time. However, we were not bothered by it and we don't want to feel rushed either. Stuffed mushrooms and caesar salad were very good. Veal saltimbocca could use a more flavorful sauce although the meat was very tender and good.
Our group of six ladies who came to Liberatore's to celebrate two birthdays had a very nice afternoon. Coincidentally, it was the day of the solar eclipse, so we left our table to go outside a couple of times, which didn't seem to cause a problem. Our waiter, Luca, was outstanding. He was extremely charming and attentive. (Actually, we chose Liberatore's because we had lunch in July and he was our waiter). We were so impressed with him, we returned. The food was very good, but two ladies ordered crab cake sandwiches which were not as delicious as last time.
