Place was so packed you could hardly move. Now I know how a sardine feels. Waiters had a hard time maneuvering to get to the tables. Portions were small compared to the Eldersburg location. Food was good though.
My husband has his birthday dinner here and the food overall was very good. I had the lobster and shrimp tetrazzini. Everything delicious accept the lobster was tough and a bit over cooked. The sauce is amazing. My husband and father in law had the filet and could not say enough great things about it. My mother in law had the pollo al pepperoncini. She liked the sauce but the chicken was dry and tough. The mango serbet was an absolute delight and the chocolate was perfect. Great wine list and ambiance. Plenty of parking and central to a lot of things to do after dinner. The waitress and staff are top notch!
It’s just a very nice place for very good food and good service. We no longer eat out very often but when we do it’s one of our top picks.
My wife complained that the veal in Veal Marsala was a little skimpy since last visit.
LIBERATORE’S is always a great place to relax or celebrate. Great Italian food with attentive service and nice atmosphere. Had a delicious chicken Parmesan and others enjoyed their veal dishes.
Our server was lovely and did a very good job. The food was delicious. We ordered the clams casino, thai calamari and grilled calamari for appetizers. All were wonderful. We had two types of wines which were brilliant. Your beer menu was great for the gentlemen. Everyone was extremely happy with their entrees. We then retired to the bar to meet up with friends and have a lovely experience in the smaller bar off the restaurant as well. We will be back to the restaurant and recommend to friends and co-workers.
Our server was very pleasant. One of the things we liked about the meal was that it was not rushed; we had time between courses. The food was very good. Prices were reasonable.
Good food and good service. Our server was Todd, did a great job
Great! An all-time FAV!
Had a greet time at Libetatore's for lunch on Saturday! Met a friend, enjoyed salad and bolognese pasta and sipped a red and a white while catching up.
It was our anniversary, we requested a booth and were rushed into the bar area, very noisy and the waiter rushed us and couldn't be bothered to even ask if our meals were ok. We won't be back.
Great service and food. Always a good experience.
First time we have tried Liberatore's and we were not disappointed. We were made to feel welcome (one member of party in a wheelchair) and service was prompt but not over-bearing. Our server had a good sense of humor and was able to make recommendations from food specials to wines and cocktails. We will definitely return.
Restaurant was very busy. Food was served quickly. Delicious as always! Noise level was appropriate for the amount of diners. No difficulty talking or hearing at our table.
We love Liberatore’s since we know both the food and service will be consistently outstanding. This time was no different. The Rockfish, one of the evening specials, was cooked to perfection accompanied by a light sauce and perfectly cooked green beans and squash. One person ordered the lamb chops and said they were the best he’s ever eaten even though the restaurant is best known for its Italian fare. The other dishes, veal Marsala, chicken Marsala, and chicken Giovanni, were enjoyed just as much. Definitely save room for dessert. Our shared chocolate Oreo cake, and NY style cheese cake were light and not overwhelmingly sweet, the perfect end to a perfect meal. Even though we had a round table for the six of us, it was still difficult to carry on a conversation due to the other lively conversations going on around us. Our server, Maureen, was excellent and was a definite asset to our evening out.
Liberatore's has great food with attentive service.
Food was excellent! I highly r commend the Chicken Liberatore.
Great food - very well prepared. Reminds me of NJ Italian comfort food but definitely at a higher level. Had lunch and the food was a little slow coming out but well worth it. Noise level seemed a bit high but I will return.
Food was very good, but service was a little spotty. We were not rushed, but attention seemed to wane as the restaurant filled to 50% capacity.
Great food, service and atmosphere helped make a great dining experience.
The waiter was good, but could have been a slight bit nicer. He wasn’t mean, I’m not sure if it was just a language difference since English was his second language. The table of diners behind us was a bit loud, but I don’t think I would hold that to the restaurant. The food was great, and the drink was strong yet very tasty. Overall it was a great time and experience.
I had a great time. Excellent food and service was top notch
Great, service, food and it was Valentine's day, but didn't have to wait. Ready when I arrived.
Love this place. Service was good until it took the guy half an hour to bring is the dessert menu, at which time it was too late so we left. Entrées were fantastic. Oysters Rockefeller however we’re not. Tasted like they were frozen 30 min prior. Still like this place tho. Solid spot.
The food was great. But we could not understand the waiter at all. We still have no idea what the specials were. So we just ordered off the menu.
No desire to elaborate my experience in a narrative.
The food was absolutely devine and the service impeccable and friendly.
We had a very enjoyable evening. It was perfect for a birthday celebration and everyone had a good time, and seemed to enjoy their meal.
From reservations, greeting us at the door with immediate seating, wait staff and food ... all were excellent.
Liberatores is a great place to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal with great service. Great wine selection as well.
First class service in this lovely setting! Menu presented outstanding choices which did not disappoint when served. We enjoyed our luncheon as well as the left-overs from the generous portions. They will be seeing us again soon.
I enjoyed my meal and the value was good since it was Baltimore County Restaurant Week! I ordered a Caesar salad for my 1st course, Shrimp Scampi for my main entree, and I chose the coconut cake for my dessert choice. My husband ordered the LIBERATORE'S salad for his 1st course, Chicken Giovanni for his main entree and he also went for the coconut cake. He was not pleased with his choices, with the exception of the coconut cake. He felt the salmon and Caesar salad would have been a better choice. I cannot remember our server s name, but I felt he had a bit of an attitude. I can't say he did a bad job, as he was attentive, he just seemed a bit short and snappy and not very engaging.
Always great from start to finish, always consistent.
A go-to place; the food and service is very consistent and can always be counted on for a good meal.
Was surprised at how wonderful our wait staff, the food and the entire evening turned out to be great!
This restaurant has been in our neighborhood since we moved here 25 years ago, but we had never visited, despite its longevity and consistently good reviews. It’s in a suburban office building, not facing the road. We didn’t know anyone who went there regularly. We decided to try it for Restaurant Week. The restaurant itself is very dated looking and still has what was clearly an enclosed dining room for smokers. The ambiance is that of an unrenovated, 25+ year old restaurant inside an office building. It was quite busy on a Friday night at 7:45, but it was able to accommodate a walk-in table tof 2.
The food was terrific, comforting, traditional Italian. The list of wines by the glass is bigger and better than most, and my partner’s vodka gimlet was so strong he didn’t finish it (is this a pro or a con?). There was warm fresh bread and a very good Caesar salad (with just a soupçon of anchovy paste in the dressing), to start. I ordered an excellent, large portion of Eggplant Parm, with a tomato sauce that had a bit of a spicy kick. He had Veal Picatta, also well-flavored with peppercorns and capers. Both were served with a side of cut pasta and the same spicy marinara. We ended by sharing a piece of perfectly fresh and fudgy chocolate layer cake and nicely executed cappucino.
It was a little pricy for a basic Italian meal for two, especially given the location and decor, but the food was awesome.
The restaurant was extremely noisy, the tables crammed together, making it almost impossible for wait staff to get between tables constantly bumping the back of the chair. Waited for close to one hour before dinner served. Food was lukewarm. Celebrating two birthdays which turned out to be a huge disappointment. Will not return.
The service was wonderful.. Robert was extremely efficient!! Our pasta dishes were on the salty side.. the salad was just ok.. haven’t been to LIBERATORE’S in quite some time.. We won’t go back, but will go to Libs..
When we arrived the lovely hostess Kira, was so very polite to our group. She went out of her way to help us with a wheelchair person. Food was delicious, Served very hot and we really enjoyed ourselves
I’m newer to Baltimore and this was way first visit. Several people I work with had recommended it to me and I loved it. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was wonderful. And the portion was plentiful, enough for leftovers the next day. I will definitely return and recommend.
