About Liberatore's Ristorante & Catering - Perry Hall
Just a mile and a half from the Avenue in White Marsh you'll find LIBERATORE's of Perry Hall and your host Cosimo Savino. Even if it's beyond your backyard, this member of our family of fine restaurants (established in 2006) is well worth the trip. Vivid colors, an open kitchen, and delicious, homestyle aromas immediately tell you: You've come the right place. In our vibrant and welcoming decor, semi-casual attire is most often the norm, yet it's an ideal setting to celebrate special occasions. In fact, Perry Hall features a spacious private party room for 80 that can be easily divided into two intimate rooms of 30. We have also, on numerous occasions, offered the entire restaurant to host gatherings of 200. The Perry Hall lounge features 6 large plasmas and a hip, cool scene — the perfect place for a Cosmopolitan. The lounge is totally separate from our dining room, offering a great start to the night or a relaxing place to bring the evening to a close.

Liberatore's Ristorante & Catering - Perry Hall Ratings and Reviews
I ordered the Pollo Al Pepperoncini and although the sauce was amazing , there wasn't enough of it to combat the pastiness of the risotto. There was this HUGE mount of it and it was so thick that it really needed more sauce to break it down. The music choice in the lounge was very odd, first we hear Let It Go , you know the frozen song then that was followed by a song with rapping in it. Not what I wanted on our night out to a nice restaurant. Our bill for 2 people came to $107 , that was with 3 cocktails and 3 beers. I left feeling a bit underwhelmed for that price.
5pm reservation on a Sunday with friends for a birthday. Food was good and server friendly. However it took 15 minutes for a server to greet us at all. Live music in the bar was so loud we had trouble hearing each other talk over in the restaurant. Was a little disappointed this visit by these things.
Long wait ( nearly 1/2 hour) to be seated for our reservation. Appetizer, calamari, was hot but not crispy. After ordering dinner, it took nearly an hour to receive it, after requesting our meal. Then, dishes were COLD except for one person's dinner which actually was excellent (shrimp scampi). It was so busy- maybe some of this could be related to resturant week- either way, would not ever return.
Greeted by the hostess immediately with a smile. The waiter was very attentive and came back regularly to make sure we were ok. Ordered the steak salad, was very good, except for some gristle on the steak. Husband got the salad with shrimp, that was delicious. Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend it to friends and family.
We truly enjoyed all the food. The garlic bread was some of the best I've ever had. Server was very attentive but think because it being a little slow that night, maybe a little too attentive. We were dining at a slow pace and she was in a little bit of a rush. Once she realized we wanted to take our time, she did back off. Overall, very good to excellent and will definitely go back.
Planned a mid week family dinner at Liberatore's for the week after New Years. As always we were greeted at the door with a smile. Reservation had changed from 4 to 3 at the last minute but our hostess never batted an eye and set us up with a comfy booth. Server was quick with drinks and fresh hot bread. My husband chose the Tuesday night steak special, my daughter the Chef's Special Sea Bass and I my old friend Salmon Niccola. Everything was freshly prepared, well presented and just plain delicious. Followed up sharing a slice of delicious Oreo cake with hot coffee and tea. Always a warm and enjoyable experience. This place is truly a neighborhood gem and I probably shouldn't be writing this because I would love to keep it that way !!! ~ Thanks Lib's
My wife attended a business dinner here and came home raving about the good food, so of course we needed a follow-up visit. Although this was only our second visit, it was great both times. The food was exceptional. The menu was just expansive enough without becoming a novel the I don't feel like reading. The desert tray contained a very nice variety of meal endings. And finally my true measuring stick for all restaurants, can they fix a good cup of coffee to finish my experience? In this case the answer was a resounding yes! Thanks for a great meal!
Have been a few times and the food is always well prepared and good size proportions. Loved the Brussell Sprout appetizer. If they have the spaghetti Squash appetizer- it is well worth it. The tempo of the meal is well timed, not rushed, but no long waits between courses. Good menu options, from basic Italian to some more adventurous dishes.
Hostess was greeted and seated us promptly.
Only recommendation: our table was on the other side of the glass wall at entrance behind the host/hostess station. It was a cold day, every time the door opened the cold air flooded out table to the point that some of our party had to put their coat on. Block the air somehow.
Disappointed this trip , we received poor service. we have frequented this restaurant for years and have notice wait staff is becoming less and less experienced. Waitress was unattentive and and made our dining experience not pleasurable..The was also some questionable "error " involving the tip being taken out twice on credit card. Mangement resolved this issue the next day when we contacted them with our concern
My fiancé’s meal was brought out incorrectly. When the correct meal came out it looked like dish water had been poured over it. The whole dish, chicken, risotto, sauce, was tasteless. The general sentiment of the Table was the food was bland. Our server was pleasant, attentive and helpful.
Everything was bland (severely underseadoned). Our steak was ordered medium rare. It first came out well done. The second attempt, which I never send food back to be redone, was worse, it was still mooing when it arrived to our table. The lamb lollipops are flavorless. The risotto was crunchy, not the expected aldente and creamy consistency. The server who waited on us was more upset than we were. We asked if they were training a new cook or something, but no. It was just that bad. We weren't the only table tho at night with complaints.
When we arrived we were a group of four instead of two as I had made the reservations for. It was no problem. Our waitress was nice. We always love the bread and oil. The meatball appetizer was good that we split 4 ways for everyone to have a taste. The salad was pretty good too. My linguine with crab was okay. A whole lot of pasta with very little crab. We had a pleasant time.
Excellent casual dining. Our server (Nicole) was terrific. Although she had put in a very long, she was efficient, cheerful and helpful. One of our party rated the meatball sub as one of the best in Baltimore (he routinely orders these). I found the sauce (on my parm) was a little thin. The salads were rated highly.
The food here is always great! A true gem just a stones throw from the same-old national chains. Chicken Imperial and Filet Con Risotto this trip were, as anticipated, first rate. Whether it's an after work happy hour gathering or a special event, like our 30th Anniversary this day, the staff are accommodating and eager to please.
Liberatore's accommodated our large group despite the birthday girl being delayed over an hour in traffic. We ordered appetizers and drinks to pass them time and ordered entrees so that they would arrive about the time she did. The food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal. The shrimp risotto cakes had an excellent cream-based tomato sauce, but the shrimp itself seemed a bit "fishy." The cheese ravioli had a bright, fresh tomato sauce that was excellent, but the portion of three ravioli seemed a bit small. The meatball sub and the kids' spaghetti and meatballs were all good. Those who had the cream of crab soup said it was excellent. The calamari was a bit soggy, but at least it wasn't overcooked and chewy. It could have used a pinch more salt. The margherita flatbread would have benefited from better tomatoes, which were pale and anemic. The cheese also did not come across as fresh mozzarella. Service was spotty with long waits between drink refills and a long wait for the appetizers once ordered. The waiter was friendly and reasonably attentive otherwise though.
This is a very nice restaurant with excellent Italian cuisine. Our party of eight was seated immediately and our server, Mike, came over quickly to take our drink order. Even though he was very busy taking care of many other tables Mike was outstanding! Our only glitch came when all but one dish was delivered to the table. Mike apologized and told us they were making a new plate because of some confusion in the kitchen. When it finally did come it was very good. We come to this area every year for Preakness and we will definitely be back next year. It's perfect for our large group.
Reservation was ready at the time promised. Service was fast and efficient despite their being quite busy (Saturday evening before Mothers' Day). Appetizers were excellent (tomato caprese, calamari), and everyone in our party enjoyed their entrees. No real sticker shock -- you get what you pay for.
The only dings I'd note are (a) terrible parking options (not the restaurant's fault; whoever designed the strip mall area they're in should have their head examined), and (b) noise -- it was LOUD. Granted, the restaurant was full and they've tried to mute things as best they can with high ceilings and fabric hangings here and there, but just talking across the table was challenging.
While we were there we saw the restaurant help spring an excellent surprise on a group of patrons, opening a curtain to a private dining area to reveal a large party greeting a table that was seated shortly before. They seemed very customer-oriented. I'll go back sometime (live in a different city), and I'd probably go there more often if it was closer to me.
