Food was very good, as usual. The menu has changed and some interesting new entrees and appetizers are available. Always a good "go to" place for hubby and me and also to meet up with our friends.

Good food and service. The restaurant was not crowded, but they sat a large group right next to us which made it noisy.
Food and service were as expected. The noise is always an irritant unless you’re lucky enough to eat outside. Our table was so wide that it inhibited conversation across the table.

Good service, food was fine
This was not our first visit to Libby's and won't be our last. We've never had a bad meal there and the customer service is always exceptional. We brought a couple of friends (their first visit) and they were very impressed. We also timed the weather perfectly. The front doors/windows were wide open and people were eating as comfortably outside as they were inside. One of the things I also enjoy about eating at Libby's or any of the Tableseide Restaurant Group venues is the fact that Steve and his family truly give back to the community - in multiple ways.
Anniversary
This has always been one of my favorite restaurant in this area. I love the wedge salad and the brisket burger but the truffle fries are not as good as they used to be when they were served in a little wire basket. The service is very good and the ambiance is great!
Libby’s never disappoints. We were introducing friends to a favorite spot and it worked in all categories.
Food was a Wow but noise level took away from enjoying the fine service and excellent food. We were originally seated near a table of 8 who shouted across it to hear each other. The hostess did move us to a table further away. This helped but it was still very noisy in the restaurant. We have been there for a group lunch and it wasn't this loud.
Always good, always professional....and they add different twists to everyday food....the 4 cheese tortellini knocked me over !!!!!!!!
Service awful
Forgot to serve our appetizers - after a 50 minute wait from order our entrees arrive. To top it off they served the wrong vegetable side.

With a reservation, our large group of 10 was seated right away. Our waiter was very attentive as the rest of the wait staff with the bread & water. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and we all enjoyed our food selections. Sitting inside but right next to the wide opening to the outdoor gave us the pseudo experience of eating al fresco; the ambience was delightful. We asked for separate checks & each tipped our waiter over 35% by choice. We will definitely return!
Solid every time we go there and I appreciate how it allows you to build a small meal or go big on entrees. Patio can’t be beat
As soon as we arrived, our server got us waters and informed us of the specials. The server gave recommendations. The meal was excellent and the venue was spectacular.
Sat outside - great ambience and very nice little spot in Sarasota. Service was excellent and food was very tasty.

Entrees were presented before appetizers were even half finished. Waiter was minimally attentive compared to excellent service at prior visit. Wine was not the vintage of the wine list entry, and no mention of this by the server.
I took my mother for her 90th birthday, and she loved every minute. I’ve always enjoyed everything about Libby’s, we sat outside since the weather was beautiful . The table next to us raised their glasses in a toast for my mother then our waiter Dion, brought out a warm and delicious giant chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and a candle.

Had a 7pm reservation. Showed up behind a walk up group. Had to wait for a table setup. Waited for 7 minutes to get greeting and place drink orders. Waited for 10 minutes to get drinks. Was 30 min to get our food order and drinks ran out. Restaurant was about 60% full, very noisy with tin ceilings and tile floors. Food was good and it’s a nice place. I would go back and be more assertive on service expectations which seems like a shame for that price level.

We had a wonderful lunch for my father-in-law’s birthday. The food and service was superb. And we will definitely return in the near future.

Libby’s is a favorite . Great Menu , service . A little loud but worth the noise . Surf and turf Buffalo Cauliflower and Tomato Basil soup some of our favorites .
I ordered the special roast beef dinner, $29., it was tough. The manager gave me a $4 discount (Asolo discount.) I will not go back.
Group of 8 with excellent seating just inside door on round table making conversation easy. Location near door gave a feel of being outside which was nice. Cocktails were just okay. I had a very weak margarita. The bread "bites" served before the meal were somewhat hard and dry. The menu has a nice a la carte selection. Something for everyone. The meals were very good with "small" portions. Our waiter lacked any personality and the service was slow. We did not order dessert and after a lengthy wait for our bill had to find our waiter for the bill as we had after dinner plans. Overall though, we would give this restaurant another try and recommend other to do so.
My wife and I choose to dine inside rather than out. We were quickly shown to our table and then completely and utterly rushed through our meal. Certainly, the impression was "HURRY UP - WE NEED TWO MORE TURNS OUT OF THIS TABLE." Waiter was efficient but very curt and totally non-attentive. Too bad really as the food was very well prepared and creative cuisine. If I were to go back, which is most unlikely, I can recommend the roasted chopped vegetable salad and the grilled scallops with shaved brussel sprouts were excellent.
Very average all around. Nothing terrible. Nothing outstanding.
