Just well past it's prime -- no pun intended. Given all the competition in the Valley, I'm not sure why LG's would be on anyone's list anymore. Years ago, I loved LG's. Now the drinks are poor (is there a reason your martinis aren't cold?), the food is just not great given the price, service is perfunctory, and the overall experience is a big "why bother."

The steak at LG Prime is excellent. Staff was very good. Patrick our waiter had lots of suggestions for dinner. Excellent food. Price reflects the quality of the food

Prime rib was way overpriced to me. Kinda lacking in flavor too ,still eat it though! For that price the sides should of been included too! I chose this restaurant since it was close to the bar we were attending afterwards and the good reviews .

Perfection! I've have been to a lot of steakhouses, not one can compare to LG's. I couldn't give them a higher review. This one is a MUST!

They were very busy to a Monday and didnt quite have enough staff to the rush. But the steak was amazing! The ambience was nice and romantic (we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary). We had a wonderful time.

A very busy weekend in town, but the restaurant not overly busy, so no excuse there. We were seated in time and the decor was nice. We started with a mixed drink and the Tumbleweed appetizer. Appetizer was messy but yummy, drinks were ok. We had ordered the Caesar for two, nice entertainment to have it made tableside, but why was it served with the appetizer? I would say average again. Our filet and prime rib were the served plain on a little plate that the meat just fit on. Maybe check Pinterest or a local competitor for garnish ideas? On top of that, my pr was luke warm at best. My husbands filet was fine. The side dish advertised as potatoes and carmelizef onions was potatoes and lightly sautéed onions, no carmelizing nor flavor there. The topper was there was no one to inform about my dinner, nor to order the bottle of wine we wanted. I finally flagged someone down to bring my husband a glass of wine. I was done.
The good news is the next night we went to Le Vilauris and it was Wonderful!!!

Steak was not very tender and not cool as requested (over cooked). Side dishes were run of the mill. Service was slow with extremely long waits. Other comparatively priced steakhouse are a better value (Fleming, Morton's, etc)

This was my first visit. Despite sitting on the patio near the street, it was relatively quiet. Service was great and not rushed. But almost too attentive. A busboy would stop by to ask if we needed more of something, and then 2 min later another would come by and ask. That’s me nit picking I know, but overall it was very nice. Steaks and sides were perfect. As well as my much needed martinis. Fab. I’ll be back, and would definitely recommend.

Good meal but OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. We ordered the special steak of the evening which was a bone in filet. Waiter never mentioned it was $75! $550 for a party of 3. Not quite worth that.

The overall restaurant and staff was wonderful BUT we ordered a 30 oz bone in rib eye to be prepared medium well. The rib eye was extremely raw and was not anywhere near medium or well at that matter. Also, we asked for a glass of water about 3 times before the server actually had to go get it himself as the staff we asked basically disregarded us. The lamb was amazing but the undercooked steak and multiple requests for something as simple as water took away from everythiung that we actually did enjoy. Sad to say, it wasn't even a busy evening so I was disappointed. We were out of town visiting so I didn't even bother to voice my complaints or concern to management.

The service was stellar. The food however was not even close to expectations. The "famous" Caesar salad was disappointing. The prime rib was not well seasoned and prepared more medium than medium rare. Then there are the prices....

Really, very good! Jose is a knowledgable and attentive waiter. He knows his stuff and made the most delicious Caesar Salad tableside. Be sure to order one. My 8oz filet was perfectly cooked but too big: I only ate half! They do a little butter bath on the steak, ala Ruth C, which I wish they wouldn't - it interferes with the taste of the steak - but it's ok. We had a good Malbec with dinner at about $60, which was good for the quality of the wine. I hate pretentious wine lists and this one was anything but. Most wines under $100, with many in the $40 range. A lovely place in PS!

We have been to LG's on many occasions and they never disappoint. We were seated on the outdoor terrace (as requested) and enjoyed the casual atmosphere. The staff are friendly and courteous and you never feel rushed. The food is excellent: we enjoyed a table-side Caesar salad, filet mignon steaks and baked potato. The sides are generous and easily shared by two. It was an excellent way to celebrate my husband's birthday. Can't wait to return again.

LG is an excellent steak house, not quite the size as the big chains but definitely an equal when it comes to the quality of the food. Portions are big so we shared a bone-in filet that had a special salt rub on it and it was fantastic. The wedge salad was crisp and cold with nice toppings. Service was excellent. It is right in the heart of Palm Springs though I have also eaten at the La Quinta one as well and both were excellent.

As always it was an excellent meal, impeccable service and lovely atmosphere. My only complaint was the small dog brought in by the patrons at the next table that spent most of the time parked on the floor next to my chair. A tripping hazard and annoying.

Good quality meat. However, no seasoning. Very bland. And wtf is with serving it on a salad size plate? Small a la cart portions. Our server was some cholo who kept calling me boss. Wtf? That's a term used by people who have been in prison or around prison people. Used when referring to the guards. I find it offensive and trashy as hell in a high end restaurant. The 20 dollar table side Caesar salad was terrible this time. Same cholo did a terrible job. Paid nearly 300 bucks for my wife, girlfriend and I. Probably won't be back here again. Going back to Mastros

The food was ok. The server told us that we were "at a fine Dining restaurant, but we weren't at a fine dining restaurant." If the server thinks it is t fine dining, then why on earth would I be willing to pay $200/couple for a dinner? My wife asked to substitute a salad instead of a soup on the price fixed menu and the server said it couldn't be done because the computer system didn't have a code or ability to enter a substitution.
