Seasonal oysters a treat. We had a quiet afternoon with excellent food.
Grandpa birthday. Has babies with us.
Delicious food and excellent service. All wait staff was attentive and very knowledgeable about different entrees
I may have to go back as I had heard good things about this place. The service was excellent, the space is charming and clean. The noise level was like a jet taking off. Hard to hear with the music and noise-level of diners. I had the brunch smoked salmon platter and it tasted fine, but there was barely a teaspoon of capers, a smidge of cream cheese and not very much smoked salmon. The potato latkes were very good though. My companion had the chopped salad and enjoyed it very much. The bloody mary I had was just the right balance of tang and pepper. So I will try it again.
We had a lovely evening with friends as we were seated at a quiet table in the front corner by the windows. Food was well prepared and delicious!
Our waiter was attentive and the food was very good. Despite being crowded, we were able to carry on a conversation without shouting or missing anything. It's rare these days to find a restaurant with such good acoustics.
When my husband wants a burger Lexington is his preference. Done just the way he likes (perfect temperature) he was super happy. I like the salmon club. It comes with salad and is served on multigrain bread with avocado. It’s terrific. Would give 4.5 stars if that was an option.
Food as good as always, very attentive but non-intrusive service, we were able to chat at length.
My husband and I had dinner here on Saturday with 7PM reservations. We were greeted and sat immediately. The service was wonderful with experienced wait staff. The food was wonderful. We started with Lobster spring rolls for an appetizer. I had the Halibut special which was amazing and my husband had tuna. Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. For dessert we shared a delicious raspberry chocolate mousse. The place was very busy but we did not feel rushed. It was a little loud but we could have a conversation. Over all its a 2 thumbs up.
Never disappoints. We love it!! The staff is amazing and very attentive. The ambience is wonderful and the food is absolutely amazing. Mom is looking forward to coming make with her friend.
Always a very nice atmosphere, service, and delicious food experience. Very consistently above average over the years, which is why they're in business all this time.
Great food, friendly staff, and great service!
We love it. First time having Filet. No seasoning and below quality
My wife and I dined here on Valentine's Day. A very busy night for them, but the staff was equal to the occasion. The food, however, was uneven. We split the grilled octopus for our entry. The octopus was grilled perfectly and came with a potato and olive salad that was great. We each got a special entree. She loved her halibut special. My special ribeye was a disappointment. I asked for medium rare and it came medium well. It was also unseasoned. Big cook's mistake. The brandy peppercorn sauce was tasty, but too little was served with the steak. The special was to come with asparagus wrapped in prosciutto. Without explanation, brussels sprouts with bacon was substituted. Hardly an equivalent swap in a dish that already carried the highest price tag. We split the special dessert of chocolate covered strawberries. Three strawberries for $12.
I would come again, however, and stick to fish and seafood appetizers and entrees. Odd that the food that is easiest to ruin when the kitchen is too busy was came out the best. Work on the beef and the bait and switch.
My husband ordered the tuna and was disappointed. Came with no soy sauce or wasabi and he said it was ok only , bland and not great. . My friend had the lobster salad and loved it. Our guest had the spicy fish tacos. It looked like an appetizer, way over priced and even Cole slaw or something on the side would have been an improvement. I always like the chopped salad and was not disappointed.
We had ordered the flat bread pizza to share as a starter. It came with the main course. So we sent it back. It should have been offered gratis for messing up the order, but was not.
Service friendly. All in all, a mixed bag.
IT HAS BEEN YEARS AND WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR DINNER EXPERIENCE.
The service and food were both above average. Our experience was definitely a good one. Because the dining room is up a flight of stairs it may be difficult for those who have trouble walking to go in but everything else was very good. Really a spot to try if you haven’t been there before.
I have dined at this restaurant several times. I now officially won’t be back. The good; the food is very average. The bad; service is horrible, the restaurant was freezing to the point it was uncomfortable. There was a breeze coming from all doors and the staff did nothing about it.
The waitress came by to take our order and didn’t come back until we were half way through our entree. My sons food was cold but we were waiting so long for her that he just ate half of it cold (pasta). Then she handed us desert menus and didn’t come back to take out order for a full 12 minutes ( I timed it). Overall, it was a terrible experience and one that must be noted. My other experienced there wasn’t this bad but it surely wasn’t great. Don’t bother going to this restaurant, there are so many better options.
Food and service was interesting and excellent.
Nice place for lunch. Staff were very friendly. Good location and lots of parking.
Went there for lunch and sat at the bar. Danielle was an excellent bartender w excellent customer service skills who also knows how to make an Old Fashion correctly. Thank you Danielle!!
Great food and service!
Lexington Square Cafe always has delicious food and terrific service. I have never been disappointed!
The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good NYE after a terrible experience at another restaurant (do not go to Bedford Post Inn). We were a party of 8 people and they made room for us, and went above and beyond to accommodate 2 very pregnant women. The food was excellent, as always!
Food and service was excellent.
Excellent food and service!!!
We came here for a ladies get together. The place was perfect - warm, nicely decorated for the holidays. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. She never rushed us and was very pleasant. Overall a very good experience and we will surely return.
Beautiful restaurant. Excellent service. Delicious food. Love that you can get food simply grilled. Amazing that entrees come with 2 sides of your choice. Will be back
The preparation and presentation wasn’t like the usual. My friend and I had the Parmesan crusted lemon sole....it was like someone just plopped cheese on top and melted it. Not warm
I can eat there every weekend. Delicious.
Fun, family oriented, great food - always a great time. Excellent bar. Perfect for large families and groups.
The fettuccine were al dente and the prep of the fish ingredients awe excellent
The wait staff were EXCEPTIONAL! They were friendly, courteous and fun!
Food is always excellent.
The service was miserable.
Two of my friends ordered dessert & before myself & my third friend could order, she walked away.
Parking was atrocious. We had asked why they didn’t have valet parking @ the comment was something like “well there is no parking because of all the holiday parties”. My friends & I thought it was quite a short sighted answer. It’s called seasonal hiring.
As always, food was fabulous. I had the fish tacos and they were perfection. My friend had the steak wrap, done exactly to her liking. Great atmosphere, attentive service.
Food was delicious and waiter was great but they stuck us at a table in the front of the restaurant and it was cold and the table wasn’t big enough, couldn’t see the ambience of the restaurant from where we were sitting.
I haven’t been here in almost 15 years, and it did not disappoint. My husband likes to try octopus anytime it’s on the menu - he said it was cooked perfectly. Our meals were all delicious as well as the drinks. We had my three year old in toe and it went well. We will be coming back again soon!
Food was amazing! Zach, our server, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wonderfully attentive!
We’ll be back!
Food was amazing but we felt rushed by the server throughout the evening. It wasn’t even busy. We aren’t the type to sit at a table for hours on end and we got there at a decent time as well.
I have frequented this eatery many times ans have never been let down. The food is always fresh and the service prompt and friendly .
