We were staying at 48/LEX next door. This was an awesome find! It had a great vibe, good food, fab drinks!
I have been to Lexington Grill many times formally. Unfortunately it seems they might have changed the chef and updated the kitchen and the food was simply hn edible. I had what was the daily special and could only eat half and finally stopped trying.
Prior the food was so tasty healthy and well prepared. Maybe they need to address the change cause I brought an important friend client and she was not impressed. Saddens me when a place goes down. Please work on it!! I live and work in the area and need good food options.
Lexington Brass is your average hotel adjacent restaurant and pretty typical for the area. For the hype, the high costs and the amount of recommendations that this place gets, it was underwhelming. It seemed that they were either severely limited with wait staff and had too many hostesses. It IS a great place for a quick afternoon meal and is convenient walk from my job, but nothing to write home about. I had made specific requests on my reservation which were not respected. The bathroom is also inconveniently located next door in the hotel 2 levels down. Overall, there are better places to go for a special occasion, but for a quick bite this is an option in the area.
Always enjoy lunch at Lexington Brass. They have great salads that are not typical combinations. Service was fantastic.
I was really impressed with Lexington Brass. The service was excellent - really good attitude, attentiveness and quality. The food is clever and tastes fantastic. The prices are fine for NYC. Maybe a touch higher than I would expect for what we got, but it was high quality and tasty, so it’s fine. Really happy with it.
Poor service. The Parmesan fries are pretty bad.
Service is average. Food is average. Location is good. Any Diner would have provided better food and service.
I came here for restaurant week with 4 other people. Drinks were a little pricey, but that's Manhattan for you! I ordered the cauliflower soup w/ pancetta, it was magnificent. for my main course I got the Lobster Roll which for an extra $7 over the pre-fixe was not worth it. Actual Lobster roll was good, side salad was fine. I would come back though even if there is no special menu.
We had a very enjoyable brunch. The food was tasty and the service was outstanding.
We loved our brunch at Lexington Brass! We were visiting NYC for a girl's trip and to check off an item on my mom's bucket list. The service and food were very good!
It was good and healthy food.
Great service, good drinks, good foon
Excellent restaurant very close to Grand Central Station. High quality American-oriented health-conscious food with really attentive service. We were there for Sunday brunch, and everything was just fine except the noise level is a bit high. Apart from that minor negative, a really excellent choice.
Waitress was great,, food was wonderful. We had a giant fruit salad and both got avocado toast with eggs and feta. It didn’t need to slivered almonds but it was great none the less. Endless cups of hot coffee. All in all wonderful.
Only problem is that you have to take an elevator to get to the bathroom.
Good food, quiet spot, great location next to the Lexington Hotel
Needless pressure from waiter to hurry when there were plenty of tables free.
Best Steak Frites!
Too noisy for a business dinner but if you have 2 ppl its ok. If you just want a casual nice place to have some good food, wine and convienent location, I say go tonight!
Always good for any meal all day.
Great food, little loud, waiter had attitude.
Very pleasant dinner. Food was good, although the menu is limited. Service was very friendly and pleasant. Overall, a very positive experience.
Service was a bit slow but the food was great. Have vegan and gluten-free friends and we all were able to find entrees and appetizers to enjoy. Highly recommend truffle garlic parmesan fries.
We loved it here! Great for a family dinner. Get the potato-chip calamari, it's delicious.
Varied menu. Very helpful staff. Reasonable portions. Great for a full meal or a quicker bite.
Brunch was excellent
Place is spacious
Had a chicken egg sandwich that was scrumptious
Also shared a crepe brûlée French toast that was delicious!
Service was prompt and server was very pleasant
Recommend without any hesitation
Everything about our experience was excellent: food, service and price. We were there for lunch. Next time, we'll try breakfast or brunch.
Food and Service was very good. Good location.
We chose the restaurant for its convenience, just a few yards from our hotel. The chicken paillard special was pedestrian - overcooked, was glad that the waiter brought a steak knife. My husband enjoyed his eggplant parmesan. The waiter was very attentive -- not overly so, just perfect -- and the service was excellent, but I would not return here. But, if you are exhausted and have aching legs after a day out in the city and are staying nearby, this is a perfectly acceptable restaurant.
Great food, friendly service, reasonably priced. A great spot we keep coming back to.
1:15 PM reservation. We reached at 1:10 PM to get to a table at 1:40 PM. But very friendly staff.
$5 for a coke. Unbelievable.
Overpriced and When you order toast well done and it comes warm.
Taste like they cook the bacon I had of time and just microwave it
Two people eating eggs with coffee costs 60 bucks
Popped in after meeting nearby. Server was very flat, but octopus and lobster Cobb were delicious! No special mentioned and I had to ask about fish and soup. It’s a shame the servers didn’t assist each other (water/bread/clearing/etc.) Restrooms were in dire need of cleaning. Soap dispenser broken and sink area flooded.
This was my second time dining at here. Both times the food was amazing!!
Brunch. Wait staff lacking. Two tables waited on and served before us and had to complain as hey arrived after us. Portions are large and prices a little high but at least food was good and plentiful.
Went at 930am for a breakfast meeting with four colleagues. Service was slow and I ordered a special crab benedict, which came with no crab. It was awkward to have to ask the server to add the crab back. Not the kind of experience one would hope for when paying $25 for breakfast in new york.
Food is very good. “requested” we change tables after they seated us. Love the cauliflower appetizer. Very loud. Hard to have a conversation but if you can get a table around the corner from main dining area, it is a bit quieter.
A bit crowded, and not much ambience. But great food and great service.
Nothing exciting here- A cauliflower appetizer was a hit. The meatball (Kobe) app was overcooked or meatballs did not contain breadcrumbs or egg as the meat was tough. For us the prices were too high for the level of food or ambiance. I do not recall seeing prices on the wine list but I could be wrong. It was just too expensive for value received. Sorry to say because most of my restaurant reviews are very positive, this one to me is not worth the visit in my opinion. Wait staff was excellent though!
Went for breakfast, had the best pancakes ever—cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting was fantastic. Also had Neuske’s bacon from my home state, which was also awesome. Ambiance was good, except for some reason they didn’t have the air on during an 85-degree day, so it was a bit warm.
