Visited for dinner and enjoyed the experience. It’s got a great ambience and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The food was cooked beautifully. Would have loved to be able to return for brunch, but ran out of time during this quick trip!
Great food, pretty fast service , nice atmosphere to chat in!
In an area that is generally hotels, fancy restaurants, or take ont, Lexington Brass has a good selection of salads, chicken, fish, or steak. A brasserie menu. Good, not too fancy, and not too casual. Also, not too loud - thank you!!!
I liked that this place was connected to the hotel, but that is about it. During brunch on Sunday, the food was like typical food at a diner. Ambiance is much better than a diner, but the food is average. Solid service but I would not go out of my way to return.
Great food and service. Love the lobster roll and filet mignon!
The delicious, creative quinoa dishes were fantastic I savored every mouthful and the service was outstanding. I already recommended to friends and will definitely go back to Lexington Brass when in NYC
Love this restaurant. I typically stay at The Lexington across the street and this is a very nice place for me to have a meal or entertain business associates. The staff are outstanding as is the food.
My daughter and I came by this place during our weekend in NYC. Great breakfast/brunch food. Great service. Awesome French toast. I also spied the chicken and waffles at a nearby table and they looked delish. When my daughter decided she didn't want the cinnamon swirl pancakes she ordered (due only to her limited appetite that day - they looked amazing!), we asked them to take them away and bring a fruit cup instead. Without asking, they removed the item from the bill. It was totally unexpected and gracious of them to do that. The bathroom situation is a bit...weird. You have to use the one in the adjoining hotel, through a door, past the front desk and down an elevator. Definitely a first for me, but maybe that is commonplace for NY? Anyway, that would not be a deterrent to returning. We really liked the food and ambiance.
Good food. The avocado toast is yummy. The quinoa sweet potato hash is unique and tasty. Weekends get very busy so reservation is recommended.
Truly mediocre food served with borderline hostility.
Excellent veggie burger (sweet potato and quinoa)
Kale, quinoa chicken salad was amazing! Will definitely be back.
The foods so good!!
My friend and I both enjoyed our salads which were generous in size, nicely seasoned but not over-salted. The plating was attractive and the service was quick.
Visiting from out of town. Came for brunch. It was AMAZING. Had chicken and waffles Benedict. Just Delicious!! Insanely delicious!
Rude server. Bad table. Very expensive. No coffee refills.
Very comprehensive brunch menu, not only the typical poached eggs 'extravaganza'.
Great avocado toast. Get the extra egg.
Great service
Quality breakfast place near Lexington Ave hotels. Busy and tables are close to each other, but quality food. Omelette and breakfast potatoes were good choice.
Always dependable. Love the Lavender Bees Knees drink. This time, had the creamy cauliflower soup and the It's Impossible (veggie) burger and yes, it tasted like meat. So good.
Wonderful kitchen; thoughtful service; attractive; relaxed and fun.
I have been to Lexington Brass many times. However, have noticed the service level has gotten worse. My last visit, we ordered our food and never saw the waiter again. We got our food from someone else, ate, and then sat there for 40 minutes wondering if someone would get us another drink or even water! Eventually I got up, gave my credit card to another server. Not professional for a midtown NYC lunch spot. Won't be back...
Amazing food and service , cool atmosphere. Definitely will go back
Great spot, awesome atmosphere and service was good. Staff were all very friendly! The special was amazing and I highly recommend the cinnamon roll pancakes
I worked in NYC for many years but had never been there. But it was recommended to me so I agreed to try it out. People had said really good things and there were very good reviews on OpenTable but I did not have a good experience. I know we came in for a late dinner but the restaurant was still full so we should have had better service from the guy who must have been our waiter but acted like the busboy. He took 15 minutes to bring us our drink order. And then, we never saw him again until our food was delivered. Never even asked how our dinner was. If he had, I would have told him that it was the absolute worst lobster roll I’d ever eaten. The lobster tasted like it came out of a can- flavorless and not fresh. It was shredded into tiny pieces and super cold. The bun was also cold and was neither toasted or buttered. And the chips they served it with were greasy and flavorless. I’m unlikely to come back and you guys should know better. This is New York!
Some confusion over the reservation when I got there.
The waiters were very helpful and friendly. The food was great, too!
Wonderful brunch with young and younger friends while we were visiting in the city. Relaxed atmosphere + great food + excellent Bloody Marys = great fun.
Met up here with some old friends. Service was okay and the food was decent. Juices were freshly squeezed which was nice. Eggs Benedict was overcooked, fries were too salty, fried chicken was a bit dry, avocado toast was ok. Better ambiance and vibe than the food. Nothing memorable but nothing bad. Good spot for Midtown East.
Food was salty.
Great place for a team dinner with many options to satisfy all tastes! The service was very attentive and the food fresh and delicious!
Ridiculously overpriced for breakfast and I understand it's Midtown, but $5 for diner quality coffee is ludicrous.
Brunch Menu would have been nice on a Holiday Monday
Always great quality food.
Delicious brunch. Smashed avocado toast was amazing. Service was decent but not great. Would still go again.
Nice restaurant close by the hotel that I stayed at - good pub vibe, and very good food. The wait staff was attentive and efficient, except for forgetting to bring my drink order.
But ... shortly after we were seated, about twenty patrons streamed in, occupying two tables of about ten each. The big group itself was fine - but there were twenty of them.
I do have a problem being seated next to a big party when other (quieter) tables were available - and clearly the big group had a reservation - so not sure why we were seated so near them. The restaurant staff should have tried to keep other diners away from the bustle and noise.
Good food, quick service. Not a good place for a business lunch. Tables are so jammed together you are practically sitting with the table on your left and on your right. Cannot have any sort of business conversation if you are at all self conscious about not sharing it with the world.
The coffee mugs were cracked and leaking. The food was served cold and soggy. Less than an hour after our reservation time we were rushed out with the presentation of the bill and being asked twice if we were ready to pay. I only assume the rush was to accommodate the larger parties they were expecting which is all the servers discussed while hovering over the server station next to our table.
Great for brunch, lunch or dinner. Casual atmosphere with good food and a very diverse menu. There is something on the menu for all tastes. Not inexpensive but on par with most similar restaurants in the area.
