Love it! Food was awesome!
We met my son and his girlfriend at Lexington Brassfor Sunday brunch. The food was great, everyone was happy with their meal and with the choices. The staff is super friendly and gave us just the right amount of attention without hovering or making us feel rushed. Will definitely go back.
Good food and service . Very enjoyable, Nice atmosphere
Food very good and they were very accommodating for my friend’s dietary needs.
It was an okay place for breakfasr.
We enjoyed it very much. Nice menu with choices to appeal to all tastes and a variety of budgets. Service very nice. Had to ask for bread but it was delivered promptly and was generous slices of a good peasant style bread. My husband’s filet mignon was perfectly cooked. The chicken under a brick which my brother ordered was delicious. I had the special chicken rice bowl and it was a nice change from things I usually order.
I always drove by this place, (usually at night), and knew it was a good place to eat. From the outside it looks stuffy and expensive, but it's casual and reasonably priced. I finally went there for Saturday Brunch.
The menu was expansive and it was hard to make a decision on what to order. So i will be going back.
Service was great, and the food came out quick.
Incredibly awful service.
Great food and awesome atmosphere! I was there for a work meal and everyone was happy with their meal and wine
Solid and consistently delicious food in midtown. The room is definitely loud at peak times and for some reason always chilly. Bring a sweater and eat great food. Totally worth it.
Great food! Really like the way the restaurant is decorated. Would highly recommend this place.
After a rocky start, we ended up with a very good meal and experience. We started with escargots which were somewhat chewy and not too flavorful. Unfortunately the bread was not very good either .The server acknowledged that it was not very good but it was all they had. The entrees however were excellent and perfectly cooked ( salmon and monkfish). The desserts (financier and chocolate cake) were super! So overall it was a very nice dinner in a lively brasserie. Just find some better bread please.
Food was great! Service was great! I think the kitchen forgot our food. Everyone who came after us was done before our food came.
Deelish. Love the octopus and mushroom spaghetti.
Steak salad was amazing.
Had a lovely dinner. Food was delicious. It was an overall wonderful experience.
The place is great and better than expected. The wine list and cocktails were also very good. It is loud inside ... just FYI.
The food was great, but the service was lacking. The hostess was not friendly, and even though we had a reservation, our table was not available until 15 minutes later, and she was not apologetic. We had to check on the table 3 times before it was ready. This was a business meeting, and our clients had a tight schedule. This made for a rushed experience and her attitude was not appreciated.
Great to meet friends and business colleagues. Always great food service and drinks!
Love their Salmon Health Bowl - a go-to favorite. Never disappoints and everything is always fresh! Also love stealing my co-diners truffle fries, they are to die for! Great lunch spot.
We met my son who lives out of town at Lexington Brass for brunch last Sunday. It turned out to be a great spot to reunite. We like the mid-afternoon brunch and the peppy ambiance and the nearness to Grand Central.
Food was wonderful. Service left a lot to be desired. Our waiter came by and dropped off menus and then didn't come back for more than 10 minutes and kept walking by. The restaurant had maybe 6 tables with people and it was 9 pm. So it wasn't busy. The time between courses was extremely long and the waiter never came back to check on us or our drinks. I only got a refill of my drink after dessert was served, despite not having a drink for at least a half hour. Again, the food was wonderful but I wouldn't return due to the service.
Had a great time with family. The only thing that I would change is that the restaurant have a better dessert menu.
The place never disappoints! Great food and ambience perfect for catching up with dear friends from out of town. And I love that they font bother you!!!
We were staying at 48/LEX next door. This was an awesome find! It had a great vibe, good food, fab drinks!
I have been to Lexington Grill many times formally. Unfortunately it seems they might have changed the chef and updated the kitchen and the food was simply hn edible. I had what was the daily special and could only eat half and finally stopped trying.
Prior the food was so tasty healthy and well prepared. Maybe they need to address the change cause I brought an important friend client and she was not impressed. Saddens me when a place goes down. Please work on it!! I live and work in the area and need good food options.
Lexington Brass is your average hotel adjacent restaurant and pretty typical for the area. For the hype, the high costs and the amount of recommendations that this place gets, it was underwhelming. It seemed that they were either severely limited with wait staff and had too many hostesses. It IS a great place for a quick afternoon meal and is convenient walk from my job, but nothing to write home about. I had made specific requests on my reservation which were not respected. The bathroom is also inconveniently located next door in the hotel 2 levels down. Overall, there are better places to go for a special occasion, but for a quick bite this is an option in the area.
Always enjoy lunch at Lexington Brass. They have great salads that are not typical combinations. Service was fantastic.
I was really impressed with Lexington Brass. The service was excellent - really good attitude, attentiveness and quality. The food is clever and tastes fantastic. The prices are fine for NYC. Maybe a touch higher than I would expect for what we got, but it was high quality and tasty, so it’s fine. Really happy with it.
Poor service. The Parmesan fries are pretty bad.
Service is average. Food is average. Location is good. Any Diner would have provided better food and service.
I came here for restaurant week with 4 other people. Drinks were a little pricey, but that's Manhattan for you! I ordered the cauliflower soup w/ pancetta, it was magnificent. for my main course I got the Lobster Roll which for an extra $7 over the pre-fixe was not worth it. Actual Lobster roll was good, side salad was fine. I would come back though even if there is no special menu.
We had a very enjoyable brunch. The food was tasty and the service was outstanding.
We loved our brunch at Lexington Brass! We were visiting NYC for a girl's trip and to check off an item on my mom's bucket list. The service and food were very good!
It was good and healthy food.
Great service, good drinks, good foon
Excellent restaurant very close to Grand Central Station. High quality American-oriented health-conscious food with really attentive service. We were there for Sunday brunch, and everything was just fine except the noise level is a bit high. Apart from that minor negative, a really excellent choice.
Waitress was great,, food was wonderful. We had a giant fruit salad and both got avocado toast with eggs and feta. It didn’t need to slivered almonds but it was great none the less. Endless cups of hot coffee. All in all wonderful.
Only problem is that you have to take an elevator to get to the bathroom.
Good food, quiet spot, great location next to the Lexington Hotel
