Love this place! So fun and unique and delicious every time!
Drinks are tasty but very small for the price. Bulliet Mule was all sugar - way too sweet, no bourbon taste. Our waiter’s solution was to take the drink back and offer me a shot of of bourbon? Very odd. Food was delicious!
We met two couples there we haven’t seen in a year and we were all pleased with the dinner. Food and service are spot on. We keep coming back and we’re only there when we’re on the boat. Definitely a fave.
The food is always creative, fresh and yummy. Great customer service!
Level's Gimlet cocktail is a must. I order it every time.
I went for my birthday dinner with my mom and aunt. The service was great and the food was so good. My fav was the duck confit. It was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I would definitely go back.
Level has a wide variety of small plates, and as a vegan eater, several choices of dishes made with organic, fresh ingredients. We loved the mushroom salad plate so much that ordered a second one... The pesto fetucine was good, the beet salad excellent, and the crispy fried brussels were amazing!
They also have many choices for meat and seafood eaters.
This was a delightful restaurant
Easy to find, parking available, the Gimlet was delicious and all of our selections were good. The milk and cookies dessert was a great way to end the meal especially because they warmed the cup of milk for me! Fresh, local, seasonal ingredients prepared attractively. Nice staff. I will definitely recommend it and go back.
We had 7 ladies gathered for a girls' weekend, and decided to have dinner at Level one night. It was the perfect choice! Food was delicious, and it was such fun to share. There were many options and everyone could find several things on the menu they wanted to try. The atmosphere is fun, but quiet enough that we could have great conversations. Wait staff was friendly and professional, and even took pictures of our group at our request.
Great food and fun eclectic ambiance made for a fantastic friend get together. The service was fantastic! The small plates can really add up though, so don't go hungry...Recommend the brussell sprouts, scallops, tuna, the duck was amazing, and brushcetta.
My husband and I have gone to Level several times before, but this time left quite a bit to be desired. The food seemed like it had all been sitting uncovered in a fridge for a couple of hours - it was a little dried out and not very well seasoned and the service was a bit spotty. In addition, the temperature was way too cold and despite asking the hostess to adjust the temperature, we kept having very cold air blown on us throughout our meal. We noticed that we weren't the only ones who seemed to be cold - another customer was shivering and several customers kept their coats on. I hope Level can get back into their groove - we've had great experiences there in the past - but this time was just a bit of a disappointment.
Level is the perfect restaurant for date night, girls night, birthday or just every day dinning. The food is amazing and the staff is so accommodating. I’ve never had a less than perfect meal or experience at Level. Everything on the menu is delish and the drinks are so creative and fresh due to the fresh homemade ingredients. Absolutely 100% you have to dine here!!
Very good and great service.
We were early for a reservation and told that both bars were full so we could "stand around" if we wanted to wait. Our server took a partial order and then left for 45 minutes. The spicy shrimp cocktail (poached shrimp with spicy tomato marinade and tomato confit) was in fact a stewed tomato with 2 dozen (pickled?) jalapenos and 3 naked shrimp. If you like a hospitable experience and good food try somewhere else.
It was very noisy, busy and not a particularly pleasant dining experience.
This is the first time ive been back since its changed ownership. The service was stellar, but the drinks weak and the food was not good. I dont think id go back.
Great place. My wife and I have had small plates before, but these small plates weren't that small. The house made specialties, spicy tuna tar tar and the Level Gimlet were sensational. Tony provided great service. My wife and I will definitely be back!!!
Had a wonderful time celebrating my sisters birthday with friends. Great service, food, drinks and wine.
Great service. Food was good. Prices were high for some of the plates. $15 for 3 scallops is a bit pricey.
Nice place!! Upstairs-downstairs- it was Freezing when we were here - Freezing since we were at Dinner-time, and it had not filled up. The French fries are delicious- the seafood charcuterie is a good idea- but cut so thin -I could not really discern any flavor except in the more regular salmon. Drinks are good and nice wine list! Fun place
Food and service we’re excellent as always. This is our fav in Annapolis
Great food, fun drinks and attentive wait staff. Best tuna tartar in Annapolis. Will definitely be back!
We had a fantastic dinner here! Everything was outstanding - the food, drinks, and service, all deserve 5 stars! Definitely coming back sometime soon.
Great food from an innovative menu, and a friendly and attentive waiter. The only negative aspect was the table we were given by the hostess, despite a reservation from a few days before and lots of empty tables: a small two-top near the bar, at the edge of a wall separating the two main dining areas. Possibly the worst table in the restaurant, the one they save for last when they're really crowded because it has such high traffic/noise. Hostess just put the menus down and walked away.
Level is always busy, so make a reservation. Everthing is small plates, well-prepared, and fun to mix and match. The house specialty cocktails are out of this world.
Great fresh creative food, customer service is the best!
Had a nice dinner with friends. The Tuna Tartare in a spicy oil with pita chips and the charcuterie tray with homemade pickles, 2 cheeses and fresh pate were very good. Everyone ordered something and shared. I enjoyed my gimlet and our friends enjoyed the sangria.
We live close to Annapolis and had tickets for Rams Head to see Hot Tuna. The place was very nice, with lots to choose from on the drinks and food menus. We had the charcuterie board with the best pate ever. Fried Brussel sprouts were a bit underdone, and had the Banh Mi and Spicy Ahi tuna. It was a really good dining experience and the wait staff was attentive but not intrusive.
We really enjoyed our drinks and the food was excellent though portions could be a little bigger for some of the items.
Consistently excellent. A favorite in Annapolis. Great bar and creatively improved classics dishes. The Tuna tartare is amazing.
Awesome meal. Always love the food and the experience! A bit pricey but totally worth it for a special occasion!
The portion size of the small plates and REALLY small. However, the price of the plates are about what an actual meal at most other places. The mixed drinks are good. If I go back, I will just order and share the tuna, beet salad and french fries. The rest of the menu is just ok. A 'real' small plates restaurant is Ambar in DC and Virginia. They offer very good food, smaller servings to share and try things but the prices are 1/2 what Level charges. I give Level credit, they charge for a meal and give less than an appetizer! What a business model!
The food was ok but came up short with each small plate. We were also put in a room with a loud 20 person birthday party which destroyed any chance of enjoying the night.
Great, light meal in beautiful setting. Convenient location and excellent service. Highly recommend.
I would be devastated if I missed dining at Levels when I visit Annapolis. The food is very good and well served. We are welcomed at the door and seated in an area which is very comfortable and we request ahead of time.
The management should be applauded for what must be excellent training and supervision to maintain the high standards which exist over time in the areas of food and service.
Excellent tapas restaurant, with the recommended 2 to 3 plates per person proving to be a little too much. Our group of four ordered seven dishes, and we were all pretty full. Food once again delicious, excellently and lovingly prepared. We would have liked a little more guidance from our waiter regarding the selections.
Great drinks and food but the cost of some of the small plates were as much as an entrée in other restaurants.
We enjoyed everything! Salmon bruchetta and scallops were our favorites. My husband loved the fries and lamb meatballs and Samantha our server was fantastic.
The food and atmosphere are top notch. Lamb meatballs, new to the menu, were amazing.
Cocktails are amazing, their small plates are delicious. We all ordered a chartucerie board to split and then 2 plates each and that seemed to be enough. 3 probably wouldn't have hurt if you're really hungry!
