Made a reservation for dinner since we were staying at the JW overnight to see a show with our kids. The service was abysmally slow and there were literally 2 other tables occupied in the entire restaurant. It took 20 mins to get drinks from the time we ordered (and not complicated drinks at that), and they never brought waters for the adults after asking twice. 35 mins after they brought my husband’s soup, we had to flag the waitress for our kids entrees. 15 mins later, the adult meals still hadn’t arrived. Manager came to the table and tried to blame us for “ordering multiple courses”. It was insane. On top of that, the food wasn’t that good. Don’t bother.
Great service and good food make Level III a good restaurant bet. I just wish the menu had a little bit more variety. But the food they do serve is very good.
$165 for a cold breakfast buffet. Pretty awesome.
Total rip off. $66 each for a super plain breakfast buffet plus an 18% tip automatically added to the bill just because it was during the JPMorgan Healthcare Conference was really obnoxious. Felt very taken advantage of.

The most frustrating thing about lunch & reserving via OpenTable, is that there was NO indication in advance that there would be a $125.00 table fee + automatic 18% gratuity for a lunch reservation.
I understand there being a city-wide conference and space being a premium; but to have 2 managers say we were told about the table fee at arrival was a lie when I pushed back on paying the table fee. If we were advised of the table fee even with a lunch reservation, we would have been able to decide if the table fee was acceptable or we could have decided against being seated for lunch. Being repeatedly told by 2 managers that they could not do anything was extremely poor customer service in my opinion.
Food was quite bland and extremely small portions. Will not return. Receive 2 dirty water glasses in a row. One was with lipstick.
Surprising how this very upscale hotel in chosen to utilize this restaurant. When I arrived for our reservation for 6 at Noon on Sunday, I assumed I was in the wrong location. This looked like a casual lobby area with a few tables. Service reflected this as it seemed to be a complete after-thought, almost as if "Oh, you want to sit down and eat? Well, let me see what I can do to help." I must saw, that the salmon on my salad was incredible, though the salad was completely uninspired.
No, I would not go there again, nor recommend to friends, until they decide to be a restaurant.
Excellent menu, expertly prepared and presented. The salmon with green curry was absolutely delicious with its subtlety of flavors. The crab cakes are the best I have ever had. On top of this was an excellent wine list with a nice and unusual choice by the glass.

Well, the servers are phenomenal by being so attentive.
The place is really quiet so we enjoy it as well feel the intimacy of dining with our family.
The food can be more elevated with the taste and how it is presented .
Basically the restaurant is in the lobby area of the hotel, noisy, children running around, people in shorts and T-shirts, it’s not the nice restaurant ambience wise it could be. However, the food was very good. Note the menu on OpenTable is not accurate. They do not have ribeye steaks and many other things.
In the 3rd floor of JW Marriott San Francisco, it exists. Even in the Friday evening, I could reserve it 30 minutes before, why ?
As inside of the high level hotel, the atmosphere is good and staff is gentle. Even for a non-alcohol cocktail not in the menu, the staff showed us the solution.
All food and drink were good.
Lunch service at a fairly empty time, seemed to be only one employee. Multiple people looking around trying to get service. Ordered very bland shrimp tacos and the waitress only reappeared once to give us the check. It was a super weird dining experience.

The Crab Benedict was a bit dry, my wife had to send hers back as the eggs were fully cooked, while I asked for more hollandaise sauce to compensate for the dryness of the English muffin
This is our ‘go to’ place for dinner before the show at San Francisco Playhouse. This was our fifth dinner here and we are consistently pleased with the food, the service, and the value,
We highly recommend it and will be back.
We also went to the bar area and the bartender was very very nice. We went both 10/20 and 10/21.
This restaurant is in an open style lobby of the JW Marriott. Perhaps if I’d known that, I may not have chosen it. The experience was ok overall, few small mishaps but ok.
I would stay at the hotel ... properly is very spacious and elegant.

La comida en cambio es de alto nivel, todo muy cuidado, bien presentado y sabroso. Hasta los postres fueron deliciosos.
Level III is a nice open bar to have client meetings or to grab a drink with a friend. We met a client here for drinks and appetizers. The servers were very attentive and treated us well.
For a JW Marriott experience this has lacked good service. Food was excellent but obviously, staff has to be trained accordingly to offer the same level of experience. Had to ask for water, bread and butter. When one uses a fork for the appetizer, the fork is not out back on the table for the main dish but goes with the plate!

Great food and service, but you're essentially eating in a hotel lobby. It was very convenient for a show at the San Francisco Playhouse, at least.
Okay. Just okay. I didn’t realize it was a hotel restaurant when I booked.
We found this restaurant on Open Table and it was truly a delicious and fun experience. It is a hidden gem in San Francisco and a must-go-to place. The Crab Louis salad was the best that I have had.
Great server, good food, wonderful place for quiet conversation. We'll be back!
Lovely place to have a conversation with the person(s) you are dining with. Good menu options. Wine list could be slightly improved with more local options. Quiet and comfortable.
We sat down and wanted to order drinks. I gave the gentleman my order of a French Martini and he said that they would have to google how to make it. He walked away & came back & said that we could only order drinks off of the menu (about 10 specialty drinks). My friend ordered the sangria & again the gentleman came back & said it wasn’t ready yet. This was during prime lunch hours. We got up & left. Very disappointing experience.
Quiet corner was great. Dishes were okay but nothing that blew my mind for dinner. Cocktails were fantastic! I will say that Level III has my favorite grilled cheese sandwich ever that is served at lunch!

Went for Brunch and it was a poor selection and poor quality food. It was in the JW Marriott so we expected it to be good. I would not go back and do not recommend anyone trying it. There is significantly better choices.
It was very expensive for Mediocre Food! Nice setting to talk. Service was fine.

A good meal with excellent service, a was surprised it was on the third floor of the JW Marriott as that wasn't real clear in the address.
This is typical Hotel food. Overpriced and not very interesting. And no one there.
The food was delicous and the bar selection quite nice. The wine list was varied and had many offerings. The fish tacos were tasty with a nice ‘kick’. The main dish meat was tender and flavorful and in lieu of mashed potatoes, my friend was offered a special vegetable side that was not on the menu. While our meal was praise worthy, our server pushed our experience over the top! Jason was fabulous! Fortunately for us the restaurant was quiet and slow, and Jason spent extra time with us fielding all of our food and life related questions. We would have a meal everyday at Level III if we could sit in Jason’s section. Hotel restaurants are sometimes viewed as ‘less than’, but Level III holds it own.
The service was excellent. We enjoyed crab cakes and two salads. Water was promptly filled . We will return to try other items.

Recommend the kale and quinoa salad.
