Lespri Prime Steak Sushi Bar Ratings and Reviews
They say that their steak is what they are known for but it was kind of bland. I was hoping their expensive 10 dollar sides would make up for the lack of seasoning and flavor but that was also just meh. Their Elk loin was pretty good though. Steak was cooked extremely well, however definitely needed more seasoning than just the salt and pepper on the table.
The place was WAY too loud, because of the boisterous people on tables either side of us, coupled with the lousy acoustics of the place. Not what we expected for Valentine's Day. So, the first 30 minutes were difficult to like. But when they left, we started to enjoy the food, which was incredibly good. Service was way beyond expectation, in that they were very helpful but didn't get in our face. The New York steak was absolutely perfect at medium rare, the arugula salad (I never rave about salad) was one of the best I've had, and the lava cake was very good.
So, bottom line is that the food and service were excellent, but I don't recommend Lespri for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner until they fix their acoustics.
I took my kids there for Valentine's Day. None of us liked our steak all that well. It was crispy on the outside and extremely raw on the inside. Our waiter was nice but the table next to us was loud and it was not that comfortable for us. I wouldn't go back without a coupon. Too much money for the experience.
Server was professional, prompt and friendly. However, food was subpar at higher end price, so not a good value. Filet ordered medium rare was an end cut that was cooked medium-not what you’d expect at $47. Brussel sprout side had both over and under cooked sprouts. Truffle fries were cooked and seasoned well. Kitchen has some work to do to catch up with price.
Not enough options for couples with young kids but my three year old enjoyed the steak fries and prime rib slider. The baked potato was great and my husband enjoyed the sushi. The executive chef came by to say hello and bring out our dessert, which we thought was a great finishing touch! We can’t wait to go back next year when we visit Park City again!
We will definitely make this a regular stop! The steak was so perfect and all of the food very good to amazing. Service was great. My only criticism is the seating made it less intimate and it was loud when full. We like especially quiet... not easy to find.
Always a great go-to restaurant outside of Old Town crowds and traffic frustration. Even if that wasn't a plus, the food is excellent with lots of options for every taste. The sushi is creative and very fresh. Great steaks, seafood, and tasty sides are always on the menu and the service is reliably attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.
We had never dined here before and were intrigued by the combo of steak and sushi and were leaning towards steak because we were not sure how good mountain sushi would be and we were pleasantly surprised at the selection of creative sushi . No one ordered steak. My wife and our 3 children all enjoyed our meals and we enjoyed some very fresh sushi and innovative rolls. We will come back.
Went for dinner at Lespri during our stay at Park City. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Our waitress was superb and the support staff just as impressive. We had both steak and sushi. Both were very good but neither unbelievable. The wedge salad with home made dressing, however, was the best wedge I have ever had and would go back just for that. Steak fries and mushroom/onion also delicious. Pricey but worth it. As good as it gets as far as a steak house in park city and we have eaten at them all.
Steaks and sushi were both very good. Very small restaurant, warm, cozy and friendly. We took our kids Ages 10 and up. Wouldn't recommend for smaller children. Beignets were yummy for dessert. Our second time here, 2 years in a row for ski vacation. Will be back !
We had a Groupon for $100 and still ended up spending another $100 (with tip) for two people. And it was all just okay.
The ambiance is super awkward. It's bright and you can hear and see everyone around you in one small room. It's definitely not a romantic spot. They were playing The Garden State soundtrack on a loop. The servers are extremely present. It felt like there were far too many of them working considering how small the space is. There are rather TJ Maxx-esque art prints of bottles of wine. It just didn't feel sophisticated at all.
The mac n cheese had a lot of crunchy, large salt granules that hadn't dissolved (welcome to 'Murcia!). We tried the stuffed avocado--good, but not ripe enough and $20 for half an avocado with minimal salmon?! French onion soup was decent. I had the veggie steak. It needed mashed potatoes instead of bean paste. The chef came to our table and kept talking about "flesh that falls off the bone." I don't push vegetarianism on anybody, but I did make the mistake of eating in a steakhouse. Still, I'd expect him to know his audience.
I checked in on Yelp so I'd remember to review the place later and noticed free beignets for check-ins. Yay! I told our server we had purchased a Groupon and asked if we could also use this. She said she didn't think so, but she didn't offer to check. I feel like this one incident sums up our entire interaction with her.
My husband is pescatarian 364 days of the year and ordered their $50 steak. No sides or salad. He was pleased. (He also loved the mac, but he loves boxed mac, so keep that in mind.) Based on their lightbulbs alone, it does not feel like the sort of place that would have such high prices.
Restaurant was awesome! Scott Benson, the chef, prepares each meal with a terrific presentation. Also, Scott speaks to each table about the menu & your choices.
Scallops were special. The burger with fries may have been the Best Ever!!
So good we returned the next night for Osso Bucco--out of this world!!

Lespri has always been a favorite of ours - good steaks with great, customized Sushi.
It suffers from being a small restaurant wanting to be a bit larger, rather than reveling in their smallness and being really special. The service is slow but very good. Bar service is VERY SLOW, and the Bartender wants YOU to think that he is overworked, so he takes his time. Unfortunate. We watched him !!
We will go back to Lespri because it is special and is a wonderful place to enjoy good food and friends. Key - we always bring our own special wines.
I was really, really disappointed with what was supposed to be a big night out for my boyfriend and I- we were visiting Utah and this was supposed to be our big dinner. We do frequent Utah as his family lives there, and we had always wanted to come here.
I wrote in the reservation comments that it was our anniversary, but this was never acknowledged- we were hurried to our seats, and we selected a bottle of wine. The restaurant was pretty empty. This was fine, but the service and food were not on par with the dining experience that often goes alongside a $200+ meal. The meal was rushed, our steaks were fine, we had to ask for new silverware and the baked potato was impossible to cut.
Steaks were both undercooked, despite being us clear we'd like medium to medium plus. The odd thing is that we were NEVER - not once- asked how our food was, we poured every glass of our own wine (we would've gotten another bottle or two if the server had noticed it was empty or asked how we were) and had to remind the servers of our appetizers (there were several bringing different things to the table so a great lack of consistency). The server oddly added his own 20% gratuity onto the bill, which we were not alerted of. If we had to pour our own wine and ask for new utensils and remind our server(s) of appetizers.. I wouldn't have given the 20% tip he gave himself. We had to leave to go and pack to leave in the morning, so I paid the bill and left.
I was so disappointed by this experience and would love to chat with any representative if they have time.
We had set a reservation time for 6:45 and were running early, so we decided to see if they could accommodate us. The chef indicated they didn't like to overload the customers, so they could give each the experience they would expect, but that he would seat us and do what he could to get to us quickly, with us realizing it might be a bit of a wait. There was no wait. The weather was perfect and the patio seating was amazing. The meal was an anniversary outing with my wife, and she can be quite particular. All expectations were met.
Went here for husbands birthday. We had the bruschetta, which was delicious. I had the 8 oz filet. It was the best steak I have ever had. Cooked perfect and had amazing flavor. My husband had the baked avacado and Zen roll. He was very happy with both. The patio was nice and seemed like a more casual atmosphere which we liked. It was a Saturday. There was a band playing in a bar or restaurant somewhere near our patio which people on the patio seemed to like. Our server was knowledgeable and attentative. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The elk was delicious. I would probably order the sauce on the side and get it rare next time just because the meat itself was perfect. The sushi was pretty good. Very creative! My only complaint was that the rice was a bit off - my husband thinks maybe they had it in the fridge for a while. I thought it just tasted too "puffy" like they used the wrong kind or something. I'm from New Orleans and I liked Lespri's beignets better than Cafe DuMonde's!
We were late to our reservation due to some construction on Parley's that limited it to one lane. The host was friendly and understanding. We were greeted with water immediately but then there was a long pause before our actual waiter came to meet us. We ordered and then were left alone until a few minutes before our food arrived, when they brought us chips. The wife had the chicken piccata and it had great flavor. I had a steak that was prepared perfectly medium rare. The whipped potatoes were tasty and the outdoor seating was just right. There was live music and a great ambiance. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner at Les Prime. We had a two for one entree which made the price reasonable, I'm not sure that I would go again if it was full price, but with the discount we would definitely go again.
