Starters and main course were very tasty and alot of choice. Dessert was a little disappointing; I had the creme brulee and my husband had the trifle. Wine was very expensive. However the ambience, decor, music was fantastic. Would definitely visit again with friends or for a date night!! ...
Super cute little restaurant and the food is delicious. I asked a question about one of the items on the menu and the waitress didn't have a clue, I had to ask her to go find out as she just shrugged her shoulders about it. We also asked for a doggy bag to take my friends pasta home as it was such a big portion and they said they had run out of take away boxes so they couldn't do it. I can understand this but they have a sister cafe two doors down and at the very least could have put it in some tinfoil or some other make shift receptical. Anyway, the food made up for the little errors in service and we had a lovely time.
Had a great time here with my friends. It was a great vibe and the food was tasty
Great evening here. Food was so so good and the service too
Only slight criticism was the lighting. It was rather dark and most people had to use the torch in their phones to read the menu
Would definitely go back
The Restaurant is beautiful and ideal for a romantic meal. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional, the waiting staff where so attentive and friendly.
A lovely neighborhood restaurant with delicious food and very helpful and friendly staff. So helpful that they didn't mind us bring our dog along. A good if slightly pricey wine list and a really warm and fun ambiance. Certainly will be going again.
the food is off the charts!!! reasonable pricing and lovely atmosphere and touches with antique water bottles and decor. Love it will be back!
Lovely french style restaurant in little Venice. Service was kind, good and discreet.
Please correct the spelling of the road in the open table app.
I was not very impressed with the exoerience I received. To start with many of the items on the menu were not av ailable: including champagne for their signature cocktails. Service was very slow and we got very little attention from the waiter. He seemed to be very disinterested and although it is a small space more waiting staff was clearly required.
Good food, very nice atmosphere, very expensive wine but overall a good experience
Really cute cozy restaurant unfortunately some of the seasoning were a bit off the bread for the starter was really salty and ruining the dish.
great address for a nice lunch/ date
The food was outstanding..........our first time here and we needed a nice local which was not too large, and noisy. The steak, the speciality was mouthwatering, perfectly cooked and soft as butter! ditto the fish and veggies. Highy recommended and I'll be going back soon
One of the best steaks I’ve had in London!
Definitely try the truffle mushrooms, wine selection also brilliant.
We veryuch enjoyed our evening, it was a special occasion, but we didn't tell the hosts.
Food very gorgeous
Great like this unique local, but the service is soooo slow - lovely people but they need 2+ more servers.... also can be a smokers den outside.
We are locals and had never tried this restaurant but always thought it looked well worth visiting. Having now done so we were not disappointed! The food was simple but delicious, wine choice was great and the waiter could not have been more attentive (in the right way), helpful and he went out of his way to put us at ease. Amazing spot to have on our doorstep!
We have been here twice now and it has been well worthwhile on both occasions. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food is excellent, the wine list appropriate, and the atmosphere is just what we wanted for a nice romantic celebration. Certainly plan to keep coming back whenever the opportunity allows. The signature dessert is to die for!
Food good but expensive. Nice location. You can't pay by cash.
I like to support local businesses so was keen to try this neighborhood restaurant. It had been recommended by a friend. The overall experience was disappointing mainly due to the slow service. We later found out that the kitchen was understaffed. My main course order had to be changed because my original order was no longer available. The food once it arrived was good. The waiter was very polite and apologised several times for the slow service. I may return again to see if I was unlucky.
My family visited from out of town, 6 of us total. The food was spectacular and our waiter was very kind and attentive, answered all of our questions. It’s a lovely restaurant with a fun atmosphere!
What a shame. This should be an absolute gem in the location it is situated.I was was staying nearby and this had the best reviews on OpenTable. The food was excellent and the restaurant was nice and buzzy. The main problem is the service which was appalling from start to finish. It appeared they were more concentrating on(maybe) there friends outside and forgetting about people inside.Took ages to get a drink then they lost my food order.I would like to think I went on a bad night because the food was excellent as I said. All in all very disappointed because it spoilt was should have been a lovely evening.
Perfect date night, great service, incredible food. One of Maida Vale's best kept secrets. Don't skip dessert - the hot Nutella cookie is heaven!
Very enjoyable neighbourhood casual eatery. Genuine bistro without the fuss or pretence. Perfect place to eat, drink and chatter with a small group of friends. Perfect.
Romantic and original atmosphere with plenty of candles and dim light. French food. Will recommend to share plenty of starters with a good bottle of wine.
I tried this Resturant before the food was excellent but last visit the steak was not cooked well
Just excellent from all angles
After 20 years in london this is by far my favourite place! Food, decor, staff are all ace!
Great but service a bit slow
Bizarre experience ... lovely setting, scatty & borderline rude service, and very mixed food ... the truffle toast was divine, the poached egg was average, and the snails were vile (probably badly re-heated from frozen of average quality)... If you're into quirky modern French food, then "Cépages" in Notting Hill is heads & shoulders a cut above
Les Petits Gourmets is a Madia Vale must. It is small, cosy restaurant and you are never rushed despite the small number of tables and it’s enduring popularity.
The food is always great and the menus regularly change. My monkfish was s little chewy this time, but my wife’s beef was very good.
It is a nice restaurant with nice staff that always ensure a friendly and convivial atmosphere. Booking is recommended given the small number of covers and the patronage of loyal locals.
I have never written a review but really felt I had to as this restaurant could be great but unfortunately was a huge disappointment and waste of money.
- the service was extremely slow and amateur, we got moved as soon as we sat down because they got the table wrong, we then spent the majority of the dinner trying to get the attention of the staff who were very defensive and when asked what a dish contained they didn't know.
- We could have made similar food at home, it was way too greasy and very basic (minus the edible flower decorations to perhaps validate the price) - totally overpriced for what it is. £18 for a small piece of greasy salmon served with raw carrot and courgette, sprinkled with a few pomegranate seeds.. !
- Drinks - we asked for a cocktail (as they have a cocktail bar and a section on the very tacky menus for them) only to be told the barman wasn't in and they couldn't serve us cocktails. Not even a straight martini. We got wine instead, one glass of which was not a wine glass and had to be swapped half way through drinking.
The whole place is rather tacky and wildly overpriced - such a shame as the restaurant decor itself is lovely.
Nice location food very good quality good for special occasions or every day dining
The food is good and authentic but expensive for what you actually get. The wine is also good but once again expensive
Lovely atmosphere - good food. A bit expensive though especially wine list
This was a cosy intimate restaurant. The service was good and felt personal and the food was excellent. This is a good place to take your partner or date.
The food was quite average but the service , staff attention was great. Also I felt they went the extra mile to put something together which was off the menu. We had a pleasant evening and I would recommend this place .
great restaurant, and a lovely local - food has improved dramatically. Only complaint would be that is very over priced.
Fabulous food. Very small restaurant so do book ahead.
Lovely venue and lovely food. Service was great too.
It was really great atmosphere and the food was good but a bit over priced.
Its nice for special occasions
