Hawaiian Night. Entertainment spectaculars ‘
Duck delicious and the Pork Devine ! Nothing like Hawaiian
Night at a French restaurant
Great food, great service. I'd definitely come again
Inattentive service made this experience fall below our expectation.
Love it there!
We’ve been coming to Les Folies for many many years and it NEVER fails to be an amazing experience!
The food and the service was excellent. Our out of town guests were thrilled. Very nice atmosphere.
Service and food was great. We will eat there next month when we return to Annapolis
Absolutely a jem. I will be back.
Good food, service was so so. The lack luster service overshadowed the quality of our meals.
Great food and great service!!
Waiter was fantastic!!
As always a splendid experience! The escargot and mussels are absolutely wonderful and the desserts are divine! Looking forward to returning!
I took my mother (age 90) here in a snowstorm. Once we were inside and so warmly greeted, promptly given our first glass of wine, we were relaxed and enjoying ourselves. We started with oysters - so fresh and chilled. Then my mother had the dover sole - absolutely wonderful and expertly boned at the table. I had rare seared tuna - also incredible, as were the sides (included in the price of the entree).
We finished off with cappuccino and loved our leisurely dinner. By the time we left, the snow had cleared and we "sailed" home.
Everything was wonderful. Our waitress was very attentive and so sweet. We had the duck confit, rack of lamb and salmon. For dessert we had beignets with ice cream and chocolate mousse cake - delicious! My husband and I can’t wait to come back and try something new!
Always exceptionally good. Classic French - it’s the closest you will come to dining in France. A real gem.
Without a doubt the best fillet I’ve ever had. The Caesar salad is fantastic and you have to get a soufflé.
Made our reservations through Open Table but when we arrived, the reservation had not been added to the restaurant reservation list. After a very awkward discussion, we were seated in an overflow area with less ambiance than the rest of the restaurant. We have eaten here often and have always enjoyed the wonderful food — this was no exception BUT we will never make a reservation there again through Open Table, we will call the restaurant.
Fresh and delicious Bronzino. Good snails, onion soup. Delicious desserts too. Even the carrots tasted special!
Took my wife for her birthday. Very nice restaurant designed to look like a european outdoor patio experience. Food was very good. The chocolate souffle was amazing. Our waiter was very "old school" professional. We had an amazing experience.
I have been here many times. Food without fail never disappoints...Wine list is nice and reasonably priced. This occasion, we had the most arrogant waiter I have ever experienced. Truthfully, he was snobbish, obnoxious, and felt serving us was far beneath him...
Authentic. Excellent quality food. Easy access/parking.
We celebrated 2 birthdays and had a great time. Our server was very personable and made it a fun experience
Outstanding value !!! Great French food... always check out the daily specials
Les Folies has been a favorite of mine for years. The food is always good and well prepared. The owner of the house greets everyone like they are family. There is no rush. Les Folies is terrific for a special occasion at dinner. Lunch also is always delightful.
Les Folies has terrific french food and, unlike many Annapolis-area restaurants, is quiet enough for easy conversation. Great for business meetings, quiet dates, or any other occasion where a calm quiet atmosphere will facilitate conversation.
Fantastic food, service was out of this world. I would definitely recommend this establishment for a romantic evening.
As usual, the food was excellent and the service impeccable.
We are tourists in Annapolis and came to this suburban restaurant because of high ratings on Zagat, TripAdvisor and open table. We accordingly had high hopes but were disappointed. The ambience and service were pleasant enough but the food was only adequate. Not bad but nothing that would rate a return visit. My supposedly dry wine was too sweet and I left off drinking after a few sips. The dessert tart, while prettily presented, was poor in that the crust was not fully cooked. I scooped out the fruit filling and left the rest. All those rave reviews did not translate into a memorable evening for us, alas.
Great experience as always
Exquisite food. Wonderful menu selections. Appetizers lovely. Desserts home made and really tasty. Elegant settling. Only downside for us was the waiter. He seemed preoccupied and not personally interested in us. Moderately friendly. B minus for the Waiter, alhto the service was B plus.
Everything was good. Had a great meal, service was impeccable
This is my second time visiting in three weeks....delicious trout almondine last visit and perfect ris de veau....a rare delight in Annapolis. Perfectly cooked, lovely sauce and great cappuccino. I want to go again and again!
If you can't get to Paris for dinner anytime soon, Les Follies may be your next best option. Classic French cuisine is impeccably prepared and thoughtfully served in a charming, Arte Nouveau setting. This little bistro is a neighborhood gem, intimate, romantic and perfect for a special occasion.
The New Year's Eve dinner was perfect. A well informed wait staff and prompt service without rushing us made a very nice evening.
Excellent food never disappointed in the menu or service.
The food was excellent!
The parking was easy and convenient.
We have enjoyed meals at Les Folies many times. My husband and I have eaten dinner on New year's Eve for many years. We enjoy going earlier before parties begin. A quiet dinner is what we desire on New Year's. The food was delicious and our server was very attentive.
Staff very attentive to repeat customers. Our waiter somewhat cold
We went here for my husbands birthday...his choice. It was our 1st time. We had a 6pm dinner reservation on a Saturday, but it wasn't crowded at all. The waitress was very attentive and helpful and was knowledgeable about the menu items. We had escargot and calamari which was pretty good. I had crab cakes which I did not love, but they were ok. My husband enjoyed his duck and our older daughter enjoyed veal. Our younger daughter didn't love the beef tenderloins, but she said it was ok. I had a french martini recommended by the waitress, which was delicious...I had 2. The bread pudding was good, creme brule was just ok and the apple tart was ok.
our middle school daughter started French lessons and has been asking to be taken to a "fancy French restaurant" we decided that lunch here would be part of her Christmas present. She passed on the French inspired fare, (not us) but we all had amazing meals. DH and I will be back for a romantic dinner on date night soon.
Waiter carried between rudely arrogant and cold. When I asked about preparation of beef Wellington, he quipped that they had been practicing and knew how to prepare it. When it arrvied, it was still refrigerator cold inside. He had to take it to be repeated but no apology, and thereafter was curt. Food was adequate but nothing special. Wine list was expensive and not impressive.
