Les Amis Restaurant
Excellent experience! The restaurant took great care of us!
Nice little find. Not in Fullerton often, wanted something new and different to meet up with friend haven't seen I awhile. Service and personnel very pleasant and attentive.
Great food, service and ambience! I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was excellent with many traditional middle eastern dishes. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The dessert selection was limited.
Les Amis is one of the best restaurants in Fullerton. Their service and wonderful, well chosen dishes are always a 10+. We chose Les Amis for Father's Day Brunch knowing we would have nothing but the Best! We are always impressed by the warmth and personal treatment, returned customers, like us, are treated.. LES AMIS, Our Favorite Restaurant!!
The experience at Les Amis is always wonderful. The staff is professional and attentive. The food is fantastic. Great for casual dinner out as well as special occasion.
Food was amazing! I ordered the shrimp curry and I replaced the rice with fried cauliflower (delicious)
Cute!!!!! Love the patio!!!! Delightful
Fabulous dining experience - great food & service!
My family and I were treated like an extension of the owners family. My grandchildren had a wonderful time and commented on the food and the good service of a young man who was not our server, but came around several times to refill glasses. They girls thought he was “handsome and pretty “. But they are girls and easily impressed. Seriously, his smile and easy disposition will serve him well if he, later in life, works in the service field.
It's always nice to find a new halal restaurant in Orange County. We brought our family here for my mom's birthday and it was quite the treat. The service was amazing! We tried to get the platters to be family style, but it didn't quite work the way we wanted, but the food was delicious. I will be trying something new the next time I come around!
Wonderful! Can't wait to visit again.
Nice place. Friendly people. Food was OK but too pricey for what it was. Humus was great, the Toume lacked soul, the Labneh was good but plain style. I prefer a hint of garlic in there with perhaps a few shreds of cucumber. The pita bread was chewy and was served in a plastic bag. All in all it was Ok but I would have expected more for $65 for two people before tip and with just ice teas (which were great btw).
Table was too small for the two large platters that held amazing food. I wish they had a better way to handle this😢.
The food was fantastic. It was our first time here and we were very pleased with the service and our overall experience. If your in the OC you must stop by. Their Lebanese wine list is also very good and reasonably priced.
Food portions are easily split. The wine pour is generous too.
A good meal in a friendly place at a fair price. This is a great place.
The food was hit or miss. We really enjoyed the stuffed grape leaves, fried cauliflower, and hummus. The chicken shawarma was tasty, too. However, my kids ores the spaghetti and meatballs and cheese flatbread and didn’t enjoy them. Also, we ordered the salmon on couscous. It was an odd flavor.
The flavors of all our dishes were excellent. My young grandkiddos loved the spaghetti. I tasted it and it was very good. We all enjoyed the potato ball appetizer and the fried cauliflower. My wife's curry shrimp was outstanding and I would return just to have a serving of this wonderful dish again. Simply put, we loved this place.
The service was attentive, gracious, friendly and helpful without ever being overbearing or intrusive. I love the fact that this is a family owned and run restaurant. I could feel the love and care that perhaps only a family who love what they are doing and enjoy their customers can offer. I am most definitely returning.
One of my favorite restaurants! Always friendly and delicious.
Enjoyed an evening with friends. Great wine, delicious food. Sumptuous portions and delicate flavors.
This was my first time at Les Amis, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The service was fast and the food was very good. I had the chicken platter, while my 2 friends had the shrimp platter and falafel platter. All 3 of us were very pleased with our selections. We came because our friend, Dan, was performing - Sax One- and he is very talented. He played songs that we knew for the most part and even had a singer join him on a couple of numbers. We would come back again. Thank you for a good first experience there.
The food was good, but the service was slow and it was cold/drafty inside.
One of my favorite places in Fullerton. Always tasty and always healthy.
We waited about twenty minutes for a server, then an hour for the food, which was cold. Very odd vibe. Expensive, too.
Shrimp appetizer was WAAAY TOO SALTY!!! Noise level too loud for my comfort. No desserts.
Our waitress didn't write down our order but that isn't all that uncommon. She did mess up our whole order. Drinks were wrong but she insisted we were wrong. The food order was wrong for 3 out of the 4 people eating. Owner came over to fix the meals but still charged us for all the meals! I thought something would have been comped.
Great location in heart of downtown Fullerton. Our neighborhood favorite, hands-down. Terrific service from this family run restaurant. Food is authentic and always flavorful. Great rotating soup of the day offering. I recommend the patio seating.
I wanted to do something new for my birthday since I tend to go to the same places over and over. Fox in the Box (escape room) is right next door which is why I chose Les Amis in the first place. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious (best hummus I've ever had) and the atmosphere was cozy. The room is elongated which means there are not too many people in any one area. My only complaint was they could not make me a Midori margarita - no liqueurs. However, my strawberry margarita was wonderful as were the "tacos" I had for dinner. My group of four enjoyed themselves and we all agreed we would come back.
We had 3 servers assist at our table of 4, so the service was terrific. They saw that we were having conversation and never rushed us at all. The food was pretty true to traditional Lebanese taste and some of the servings were on the smaller side, as some reviewers have complained about. We ordered about 8 appetizer plates along with the chicken and beef shawarma plates. The only plate we did not like were the meatless grape leaves - which were very bland and dense. Otherwise the rest of the food was delicious!
From the moment we walked in it felt dirty. There was no one to greet us so we had to go and find someone in the kitchen. There were only two tables with customers, for a weekend evening that is unusual especially when all the other restaurants in the area were booked solid. We were seated and ordered wine that they were out of. We were given pita chips and humus and found strands of hair in the dish. We walked out. We would NEVER recommend this place.
The roasted cauliflower was outstanding, with a lemon sauce perfectly complementing the dish. I'd go back for that one item alone. The rest of the food was above average, well-prepared, and nicely presented. Somehow the soup that was to have come with my entree got forgotten along the way, but I had forgotten about it myself until too late to bother. So I'll share some blame. Parking is a bit tough on a weekend, but overall it was a nice experience. I would definitely come back, and would recommend to friends.
We were seated right away, which was nice. It was relatively quiet in the restaurant which made it hard not to eavesdrop on the neighboring table full of loud-spoken baby boomers who were making annoying generalizations about millennials. There were two servers who seemed to both being trying to wait our table -taking duplicate drink orders, etc which was a little more amusing than confusing. The service was very polite and prompt and the food quality was excellent.
Mothers Day 💐
Recently expanded space somehow maintains the cozy intimacy and "hidden" quality of the smaller store. I've loved bringing friends to Les Amis for years, and it's always a hit. So, when half of those friends made up a party of 10 on a Saturday, where else would we go?
Reservations were surprisingly easy to get same-day and our table was even ready early. Vegetarian friendly, budget friendly, great selection at the bar and (even though we were seated next to another party of 6-8), we were able to have our dinner / meeting and hear one another without much issue. We didn't notice when they closed (shame on us - sorry!!) but they didn't rush us or the door, just confirmed when we asked and were totally pleasant about it. Recommended for large parties and business gatherings.
It was wonderful and the manager was very accommodating. The food was beyond splendid.
The food was good and the waitress was nice and attentive. But the place was practically empty on a Saturady night at 7/30. So no vibe to the place
Great spot for authentic Lebanese food. Food is fantastic, ambience is quaint and the service is wonderful. We usually get the combo platter to share between two people, which gives you a little bit of everything.
We love the food here! Very tasty and not your everyday fare! A big plus is the patio is dog friendly! Nice not to have to leave "Fido" home, especially in summer when it is so pleasant outside. Plus, they have blankets if you get chilly!
Les Amis offers a much needed Mediterranean menu in a casual but sensual atmosphere in the heart of downtown Fullerton. The cooking tastes homemade and hits the spot for those of us who want to eat more healthfully. Ordered a half dozen appetizers with my two friends and each one was delicious. Couldn't have been happier!
The babaganoush was the best I've had.
