We’ve been to Leroy’s a hand full of times, but this weekend we were disappointed with the food quality and the service. We have always been blown away by the presentation and food quality and honestly we were pretty let down with the food this past weekend.
Food is always great and they have a farm to table menu that seems too have new and great things all the time. Food quality and beer selection are excellent! I always take people from out of town here.
The service was phenomenal and perfect food. Thank you!
Date night with my husband was made special by our server, Sarah, who was amazing as always. She knows the menu so well and is able to make wonderful recommendations on all components of our dining. The food was delicious, the drinks were well made, and the service was excellent, as is usual when we come to Leroy’s.
Great happy hour from 3-6. Half price appetizers, the balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts were fantastic. Beers and we'll drinks $5. We also split a hamburger that was pricey (we thought it was also half price but turned out not).
We came here for dinner after spending a day in San Diego. Arrived during happy hour and all enjoyed a few cocktails and the pretzel. My husband and I shared the burger and lobster Mac n cheese. I would order the burger again but the lobster Mac n cheese is overpriced for what it is. My parents had the cod and the pork chop, and we all thought the pork chop was EXCELLENT. Thick and perfectly cooked.
Outstanding service and great food as usual. This place really stands out from the tourist traps that swarm the area. The chef has really put a lot of thought into the dishes and the ingredients that go in them. That paired with the outstanding service that we always get here makes it the only place that we visit this frequently while in Coronado. Really 5 stars, keep it up!
We had a great time. The staff was welcoming and attentive.
Las mejores hamburguesas del área de San Diego en un lugar casual y bien atendido.
Christmas celebration dinner
Christmas Eve. Booked three weeks in advance and then got seated next to a table with two families and four crying kids under the age of two. Not the experience we were hoping for. 😖😫
Great food, great location. Had mac and cheese for our son, roasted chicken for me and a burger for my husband - we all thoroughly enjoyed our food÷
We were 30 minutes late, but called the restaurant to let them know. Nonetheless, they cancelled our reservation. Hostess was unfriendly, indifferent and incompetent. Suggest she be replaced. Waiter was great and food was near outstanding.
Music was WAY TOO LOUD. We were a party of 6 good friends, trying to dine before a movie, and had to SHOUT to be heard. The music went on for the entire wait-order-wait-wait-drink-wait-wait-wait-eat-wait-wait-wait process. Server was nice enough--though we just replaced our obnoxiously wobbly table--but his promises to ask about music being lowered never amounted to relief.
The food was just meh. Chicken dry, fries cold and flavorless, salads drenched, everything overpriced.
This is a bar that serves food.
Went to Leroy's for a family pre-Christmas dinner after making the rounds at the Hotel Del. Was really looking forward to trying the restaurant, but we were very disappointed at every turn. Did not have a warm and welcoming feel, service was slow, and the food was not to write home about. My wife's order - a hamburger (medium well) came out bleeding; sent back and a replacement was not delivered until the very end of the meal. She never did eat...I just did not get the feel that the whole restaurant operation was well-orchestrated - especially on a Sunday evening that did not appear very busy. To her credit, the manager attempted to make things right (or at least better), providing some comps - but honestly, this dining experience was beyond salvage. Not looking to trash the restaurant, as I might be willing to give it another try sometime after the wounds have healed, but this particular visit was not a good one. One star overall, given everything else being 'fair' - and in some areas, that was a stretch...
Everything was awesome for our date night out! Our waiter, Phil, was knowledgeable, warm and friendly. The atmosphere was energetic and buzzing with excitement with people celebrating for the holidays. Can’t wait to go back!
They put us in the bar area for date night. Not ideal. Also, our server was also the bartender which is not ideal. Bartenders are always too busy to provide good service. The food was over cooked.
Excellent food and service in very pleasant surroundings. A true neighborhood gem.
I travel to San Diego once a year on business and I always make it a point to have dinner at Leroy's. The atmosphere is relaxed. The staff is always friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The menu has a nice variety of delicious dishes. The beer menu is one of my favorite attractions. The bartender advised me on a beer paring to go with the lobster Mac & Cheese I had ordered and it was spot on. All in all an excellent establishment. Long live, Leroy's!
Great service as usual. We had the Mary’s chicken and the pork chop... holy cow were they deeelicious! Even the dudes were incredible - almost the best part.
Only blip for us were the $17 Martinis. I’ll pay $15 without a blink but $17 seems high. Beer for me next time....
Leroy’s is a great place to hang out, happy hour etc but the menu is a bit limited. Would love to see a little more variety. Brussels sprouts were amazing but pork chop was over cooked and poke tacos were too sweet
The food was delicious. Someone other than our server brought our food out and gave us the wrong plates. Two of us had different fish options. I ate three bites of my husband's fish before I realized I didn't have bok choy. He had eaten some of my food. I looked at his plate and realized we had the wrong plates. The other two plates for my son and daughter were fine.
We enjoyed lunch with our kids ages 10&13. Delicious food. Great service. Many egg and veggie options.
As always, fresh delicious food.
To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The food was greasy, the breakfast sanwhich has no balance in flavor, and not worth the calories. The coffee was like water, and we had to send three items back. The price point is high for brunch...the food and poor service simply don’t support the price point. We will never go back again!
Leroy Lemonade and Cool Cucumber are refreshing, first time trying poke tacos, a bit too sweet but delicious overall, but server altered tips amount...
Great service and excellent food. Chef is quite creative with the local, fresh ingredients that are incorporated into the menu. Good wine list. Some solid gluten free options as well.
Jeremy was fantastic, attentive, gracious. And Sarah always gives me the scoop on best menu items.
My birthday celebration was the best, thanks!!

A lively place, especially with the live music many nights. Food and drinks are excellent. Everythng is fresh and local. Wines are from around the world and, while limited selections, are varied and excellent choices.
Loved the live music, the pasta was fabulous as well as the mussels. We will be back!
As the competing venues in Coronado disappear, the prices at Leroy's seem to rise. This is an upscale beach town pub with an eclectic menu and superior beer and cocktail options. The service is above average as is the food.
Our last night to dine out in Coronado. Seated outside as requested; friendly, informative and attentive service from Sarah; delicious seasonal menu.
Second time after not the greatest first experience, experience didn’t change and very expensive for the food quality and quantity.
The food was great and the drinks were great. Super nice staff. It is a little noisy, but great setting. Overall we really liked it!
We LOVE Leroy’s and go there at least twice every time we visit Coronado Island. The food is absolutely delicious!!!We’ve had the Brussel sprouts (favorite), truffle fries, Leroy’s burger, kale salad, skirt steak, farmer’s market bowl...(just to name a few) and would recommend them all!
Seth is a fabulous waiter! He’s always very personable and provides excellent service. You can’t go wrong at Leroy’s! It’s a gem!!
The brunch menu was quite limited, they were unable to fulfill simple request for an English muffin on the side. Location was nice.
A table close had a five year old girl totally put of control even riding a scooter in our area. Staff tried to quiet her but finally moved us after we spoke to manager who took his time to move us. By that time we were very unhappy.
We had a great meal with exceptional service. Leroy's offers an interesting and varied menu. The Chef is competent and appears to understand his customers. The rest of the staff is well trained and friendly.
Two Words: LEROY'S BURGER... Ok Ok, Two more words: BACON JAM !!!
Sarah and lily were great. I wanted to order everything they described!
We are local regulars 😉
