Leonora offers an inviting dining experience inspired by the French Alps, Spanish Pyrenees, and our own Colorado Rockies. The menu is designed as a tapas experience, one where diners embark with shareable small plates, pintxos and cheese & charcuterie before progressing to larger plates which revere alpine flavors including Colorado lamb pops, local steaks and more. For a traditional dish with a Vail flair, try Chef Tyson's fried chicken with barrel-aged Fresno hot sauce. Flavorful dishes are simply prepared and thoughtfully paired with wines from around the world.
Our outdoor patio has been enclosed and is now heated for the winter season. Come check out the future of dining out!

Amazing service. Great brunch. Perfect service for bottomless
Mimosas. Amazing atmosphere
Best restaurant in Vail and we have tried many
Some of the dishes were amazing, others just mediocre for the price. No Mountain View. Service was quick and friendly.
The biscuits are a must have! Staff was lovely and the food was great!
We had made a reservation for “early” and then got caught up in some work. They actually were able to change our reservation on a Friday evening, and squeeze us in later. The food was excellent. We had 5 dishes between us and they were all excellent. The dining room was well spaced and made for a pleasantly quiet dinner. They had enough vegan choices for my wife, and some good meat for me. We’ll be back for sure.
Our dinner at Leonora was FANTASTIC. We are a family of four - including an 8 and a 2 year old. The tall round booths created a semi-private feel and allowed our children to have fun without disturbing guests around us. Everything we ordered was outstanding. My favorite was the Guaca-Poke, Cheese Board, and Poblano Bacon biscuits. (I actually brought the left over biscuits and cheese home and had them for breakfast this morning!) We also ordered the Elk Chop, which was a very unique and fun entre to share. I was also very impressed with the extensive kids menu. My kids had the pasta and the salmon. Of the three highly rated restaurants we tried this week in Vail, Leonora was by far my favorite. It was the perfect place to spend our last night in Vail. We'll definitely be back next year.
Love The Sebastian Vail! Great service, wonderful atmosphere, and delicious food! Would recommend to anyone!
The worst service and April Christmas decoration in the COVID tent was an eye sore .
Food was ok
Service was excellent and food was good. Prices were very high but, welcome to Vail CO.
Food was really good and the portions were fair. Drinks for great too
One of the best dining experiences we've had in awhile. The food was great, we loved every thing we ordered, and our server was amazing (I wish I could remember her name). My date and I were being really silly and having a blast and she responded to our energy nicely. We will definitely go back next time we are in town.
Food was rushed out, server had a bit of an attitude.
First time in a long time and introduced to friends of mine were busy fail and they loved it they recommended the restaurant to their daughter and stepson and they went the next night for dinner
We have had much better food here before- and I am a fan. The guaca- poke is different than past experiences.
Not good for gluten free folks- they don't have any gluten free bread/ buns or even crackers.
Service was very good, and the outdoor tent was charming.
Key lime best desert. I thought the food overall one of the tastiest in Vail. And everyone from host to owner to servers had a wonderful friendly welcoming demeanor. Vail needs more of this welcoming spirit.
Came here with my folks and my 2 kids and were seated in a comfy large round booth. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff so friendly. We began ordering several items and with the help of our lovely waitress who shared her thoughts as we ordered to make sure we didn’t over order (even though we happily did). It was great to have so many different mini meals in one sitting. Our plates were cleared the minute we finished each item so the table was never cluttered. Some of our favorites were the crab skewers, lamb hummus, waygu beef, brussel sprouts, bacon biscuits, mushrooms, and the raspberry tart dessert which was incredible. Overall, a really great experience!
Great way to dine with friends! All food was fantastic!
Food was amazing. Our table was a little tippy, and we had a slightly confusing change of servers at the beginning, but otherwise it was excellent. We would definitely go back.
Nice tapas restaurant. It has a good mix of fusion dishes and some entree portions.
Excellent food. Mediocre service. Disappointing ambiance.
Very good except that they told OpenTable that we were no-shows.
Paid a lot for just an OK dinner experience........
Stay away. Food was terrible. Had the caesar salad, meatloaf meatballs and the Duck and they were terrible. Way over priced. I would never go back.
We had a reservation booked through open table 2 weeks prior and was staying at the Sebastian. They tried to disregard our reservation and stick us in the bar area which is first come first serve. They eventually sat us 30 minutes past our reservation time as we watched two other tables get sat before us. Was not happy. Food and service were good though.
Great menu. Fantastic service. Only complaint is the tent was like a sweat box. Way too hot!!!!
Casey was a great waiter!
Really loud bar. Moved us to the outdoor area. Food was OK. Nothing to brag about.
My experiences at Leonora in recent years have been very poor, as in VERY poor. This year it has been so difficult to find a table anywhere in Vail that I chose Leonora because they had openings.
To my happy surprise, the correct (and quite good) food was delivered, in a timely manner, by an attentive waiter. I didn't even have to wait 30 minutes for the bill to arrive, as I did last time.
I will certanly go back.
Had a great dinner - excellent service experience and food to match
Great tapas and a very good wine list. All that we order was delicious, but among the wonderful hummus with lamb, lumpias, duck, octopus, etc I have to point out that the poblano bacon biscuits were out of this world, the best ever!!!
The service from the start was excellent- very attentive
We mostly did the shared tapas and enjoyed everything- the brussel sprouts were very good
We also shared the salmon entree and enjoyed that
I had the trout which was good but the mushrooms and the other flavors was not my taste.
The food was average at best. The best dish we had was the lamb and hummus everything else was over cooked or over seasoned. The signature chicken had a good flavor although was dry. The octopus was also rubbery and dry with way to much chioirzo( oil all over the plate). We also had crab toast and it was very spicy with a bit of crab on big piece of toast. We sat outside which is a heated tent so no ambience although they followed good COVID protocols. Wine list was good and not extremely overpriced for a resort area.
Food and Cocktails were excellent.
Stopped in for early brunch and bottomless mimosas. Took a little while to be seated, despite our reservation, but after that service was fantastic and food delicious!
Service was fine and cocktails were delicious! Some of the food was great and other items kind of mediocre. I think we just ordered wrong on a few things.
LOVE THEIR TAPAS and wine selection! Great restaurant!!! Lots of fun.
Every dish was great and our server’s advice was spot on!
Amazing food & service!
This is a beautiful hotel, but the food is especially disappointing. During Covid, I have been able to give many restaurants the benefit of the doubt, but Lenora's food and wines are very expensive and the food is mediocre, at best. We expected palatable food and they didn't even deliver that. There are many better dining options in Vail.
