Very pretty environment and presentation. The food was quite expensive and tapas are by definition small plates. Also, the combination of dishes wasn't optimal. They didn't go well together, but there weren't enough options that did. Service was great.
Portions were extremely small with “large plate” dishes barely enough for one person.
Very overpriced for the size of the portions even for Vail.
Ambience was more like an everyday hotel restaurant rather than an upscale restaurant.
Great place and great food. Expect more of a tapas experience.
The food was amazing, one of the best restaurants I’ve been in Vail.
The server was extremely helpful given our dietary restrictions. The food was excellent and we did not leave hungry
Amazing cocktails and food. Several of the share plates could have been a bit more "shareable" (actually suitable for 2 bites) but everything was delicious. We had a bit of trouble using our OpenTable credit as the staff did not seem to know how to manage it and I had to call the service provider myself.
We planned a 50th birthday months in advance for 14 people. I had a very difficult time reaching the restaurant before we arrived. Eventually I confirmed our reservation. I also ordered champagne and appetizers to be ready when we arrived at 8pm. When we got there, our table wasn’t ready. We didn’t sit until 8:30. The staff had no idea what to do. I had to ask for water. I had to ask for menus. I had to remind them about the birthday. The manager didn’t know what to do to get the table ready. I had to help him figure it out. After dinner, people complained about their food not sitting well in their stomach. And I felt terrible that it just overall went terribly. The only compensation offered was to pay for the champagne toast. Just awful.
Our group had a marvelous evening at Leanora‘s. The food was spot on delicious. We had mostly small plates that were shared as well as the mountain trout. The food and atmosphere made for a comfortable and relaxing evening.
Buena experiencia y recomendaciones de comida vino y trato!
Food was overpriced for the quantity served.
Service was terrible. Waited for every stage of the dinner.
The food was excellent! We were with a group of 6 people. The waiter suggested ordering a tapas per person to share with the table and then order more for the next course. It was the perfect amount and everything was so good!! The atmosphere in the restaurant was clean and very chic decor.
We had a group of 8 people and sat in the back room, which was perfect since we wanted to talk. We could hear the main dining room and it seemed pretty loud, but didn't affect us at all. The small plates were perfect for us we shared the Octopus, brussel sprouts, avocado/tuna dish and chicken dishes. They were all fabulous. The service was very professional and prompt. We enjoyed it immensely.
Great place hard to find, worth it. Unusual food and delicious. Get the ahi guac poke!
In my opinion very expensive for what it is. Good meals but ridiculous small portions. Any other similar place could cost around 40% less. Most restaurantes entrees are bigger than leonoras main dishes. But it was ok....
Terrible size food and poor service
Wonderful creative, shareable dishes! Service was spot on and perfect atmosphere
Everything was splendid except it was freezing.
Interesting menu. The elk osso buco was ok. The poke was great.
Fantastic. We had young kids in tow and appreciate the kindness and accepting them at such a great restaurant.
Food was pretty terrible. We had to send back two dishes that were completely overcooked and inedible. What we did eat was meh. Restaurant is beautiful and service was lovely, at least.
Great decor, fun Tapas menu. Xlint Lamb pops, crab legs, to-die-for poke. Fried chicken was a bit heavy on the batter. Perfect service. Lively atmosphere.
Great food and service.
Attention was impecable.
I had one of the worst experiences that I’ve ever had in the last 5 years, the service was horrible and our food was ice cold and we had waited for over an hour and a half to even receive it. I would never go back to this place again!!!!
Love Leonora! We found it through Open Table with friends and have gone back again. Great food and service!
Really good food. Great plates to share and excellent service. Our last night and dinner in Vail was excellent was complete with dinner at Leonora
Terrible food experience for Christmas dinner, prefix menu. Everything was cold, had no flavor and dessert was stale.
Food was just ok. The restaurant is in a hotel so maybe that is why. Nice and quiet so we were able to have good conversation.
We were excited for Christmas dinner tapas, but there was only a prix fixe option. It was delicious, but the kids meals were truly subpar. We wish we would have been advised and we would have switched nights.
Outstanding service and a wonderful selection of meals to choose from for families will diverse tastes!!!!!
The service was good, the drinks were very good, but the food was not. It was Christmans Eve, so the price was higher than normal (even for Vail). Of the four fixed courses, two was OK and two was difficult to eat (the desert specially).
We were there for Christmas Eve dinner. They had a fix price 4 course dinner. You would think that being a special night with only 4 courses, with an average of 3 choices per course, it would be great. We were thoroughly disappointed. The foigras was served with a reduction that totally overwhelmed the unique flavor of the foigras. The beef and the pork chops were overcooked. For dessert the bread pudding tasted as cartoon and for the glazed donut, they should have gone to Dunkin’ Donuts or even Starbucks.
Unfortunately it was a set menu on the night we went. We wanted the tapas but this was not available.
Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff from hostess, wait staff and bartender was first rate. The food was excellent, too.
Generally good but not great for overall value with respect to portions
Absolutely delicious, highly recommend the trout!
Wonderful breakfast/brunch! Food was delicious!
We always have a fantastic experience here!
Thanksgiving dinner was fantastic and the servers could not have been more accommodating
