If this rating was based on service alone it would receive a negative score. Upon arrival we were seated quickly, gave our food/drink orders, then the service stopped there. Our water glasses were low and never refilled and we didn’t see our waiter come around for at least 30 minutes. The food was great but service was TERRIBLE! Don’t recommend this place.
This is the place to go if you like Tapas style dining and don't want to bust a budget. Wife & daughter with me and we had about 7 different 'tastings' and left feeling satisfied, not full.
Most of the tapas were 1-2 bites per person and the flavor and quality of each plate was a 10, other than the fried chicken. I think the fried chicken fingers are there for parents who have little ones in tow.
If there were zero stars, I would have selected zero. The service could not have been worse. Wait staff with attitudes and a manager who was useless. The food was marginal but overpriced. Would never recommend the place to anyone. Tried it 3 times to give it the benefit of the doubt. Dinner...drinks ... and brunch. Nothing ever got better. Stay away!!
It was a great experience. They have lovely food. 😊
Most reasonable priced breakfast in Vail but still very good food and service
Went to Leonora for brunch a couple of times during our stay at the Sebastian. Given the challenges with the pandemic, the staff was well prepared and accommodating. We felt very safe and secure. The brunch was excellent with a variety of nice offerings. I had the power breakfast and my partner enjoyed the GF pancakes. I would highly recommend.
We went to Leonora for Sunday Brunch. My coffee carafe was leaky and it still had soap in it. I had the soapy taste in my mouth for the rest of the day.
They wanted us to use the QR Code menu, but three in our party did not have a cell phone. They were allotted one paper menu to share. Gee thanks!
The food tasted good, but it definitely seemed overpriced. I would skip this one for some much better options nearby.
The food was excellent, the outdoor dining lovely and our server, Rebecca was the absolute best!
Lenora was great! We got a really nice table outside and when we got chilly they turned on the heaters. The food was creative and delicious and the ambiance was really perfect. It was clean and everyone was happy. I would definitely go back!
Quiet atmosphere and gorgeous patio. Food was very good but overpriced.
We enjoyed our meal, but as we have often experienced the entrees did not live up to the appetizers. The poblano biscuits and the tuna poke were outstanding. Service was great, especially given the constraints of Covid 19.
Scenery, staff, food was EXCEPTIONAL! As a travel agent I will definitely be recommending Leonora to my clients!
No ambience. Service was lacking. Not really set up yet for proper dining. It was fine.
Everyone tried their best but they were short staffed and having trouble with what was coming out of the kitchen timing wise.
Very pretty environment and presentation. The food was quite expensive and tapas are by definition small plates. Also, the combination of dishes wasn't optimal. They didn't go well together, but there weren't enough options that did. Service was great.
Portions were extremely small with “large plate” dishes barely enough for one person.
Very overpriced for the size of the portions even for Vail.
Ambience was more like an everyday hotel restaurant rather than an upscale restaurant.
Great place and great food. Expect more of a tapas experience.
The food was amazing, one of the best restaurants I’ve been in Vail.
The server was extremely helpful given our dietary restrictions. The food was excellent and we did not leave hungry
Amazing cocktails and food. Several of the share plates could have been a bit more "shareable" (actually suitable for 2 bites) but everything was delicious. We had a bit of trouble using our OpenTable credit as the staff did not seem to know how to manage it and I had to call the service provider myself.
We planned a 50th birthday months in advance for 14 people. I had a very difficult time reaching the restaurant before we arrived. Eventually I confirmed our reservation. I also ordered champagne and appetizers to be ready when we arrived at 8pm. When we got there, our table wasn’t ready. We didn’t sit until 8:30. The staff had no idea what to do. I had to ask for water. I had to ask for menus. I had to remind them about the birthday. The manager didn’t know what to do to get the table ready. I had to help him figure it out. After dinner, people complained about their food not sitting well in their stomach. And I felt terrible that it just overall went terribly. The only compensation offered was to pay for the champagne toast. Just awful.
Our group had a marvelous evening at Leanora‘s. The food was spot on delicious. We had mostly small plates that were shared as well as the mountain trout. The food and atmosphere made for a comfortable and relaxing evening.
Buena experiencia y recomendaciones de comida vino y trato!
Food was overpriced for the quantity served.
Service was terrible. Waited for every stage of the dinner.
The food was excellent! We were with a group of 6 people. The waiter suggested ordering a tapas per person to share with the table and then order more for the next course. It was the perfect amount and everything was so good!! The atmosphere in the restaurant was clean and very chic decor.
We had a group of 8 people and sat in the back room, which was perfect since we wanted to talk. We could hear the main dining room and it seemed pretty loud, but didn't affect us at all. The small plates were perfect for us we shared the Octopus, brussel sprouts, avocado/tuna dish and chicken dishes. They were all fabulous. The service was very professional and prompt. We enjoyed it immensely.
Great place hard to find, worth it. Unusual food and delicious. Get the ahi guac poke!
In my opinion very expensive for what it is. Good meals but ridiculous small portions. Any other similar place could cost around 40% less. Most restaurantes entrees are bigger than leonoras main dishes. But it was ok....
Terrible size food and poor service
Wonderful creative, shareable dishes! Service was spot on and perfect atmosphere
Everything was splendid except it was freezing.
Interesting menu. The elk osso buco was ok. The poke was great.
Fantastic. We had young kids in tow and appreciate the kindness and accepting them at such a great restaurant.
Food was pretty terrible. We had to send back two dishes that were completely overcooked and inedible. What we did eat was meh. Restaurant is beautiful and service was lovely, at least.
Great decor, fun Tapas menu. Xlint Lamb pops, crab legs, to-die-for poke. Fried chicken was a bit heavy on the batter. Perfect service. Lively atmosphere.
Great food and service.
Attention was impecable.
