Absolutely wonderful experience - will certainly dine there again.
Overall, not a great experience. Food was ok, but nothing remarkable. Service was very average.
Love Leonora. We had a party of fifteen. They set up a table outside so it was as though we were all alone. Service was magnificent. Food was very good to excellent. The coconut milk lobster ceviche and the best biscuit I’ve ever eaten were two that stood out for me. The service, meal and ambiance were flawless. It’s tapas and tapas done well. When they can cook octyso that a 12 year old girl devoured it, well, I am impressed. All fifteen fell in love with the restaurant. And given the location, it was surprisingly affordable. Very good value, too.
Leonora's patio was a fun place to spend a Saturday evening. There was a large selection of small plates for us to graze. Almost all were very good to excellent. Our server was great.
Everything was great!!!
Meatballs were not our cup of tea. Fried chicken was too done. The fish was not cooked the first time so they remade it however they did not charge us.
We enjoyed several of the tapas and the drinks. It was simply delicious and the service was great! Of all the restaurants in Vail Village we enjoyed this one the most!
Visiting Vail and couldn’t resist this Tapas restaurant
Surely lived up to its Hype
Food was great. Balanced portions for 2 to share.
Service was on target, there but not intrusive
Would certainly dine there again
A unique place
Delicious food. Desserts a bit on the sweeter side, but all in all great food. The staff was friendly and provided great service.
Wonderful menu selection so it’s nice to have tapas so you can try multiple things. We happened to go on the special fried chicken night, which was incredible. Great ambiance, and the hotel staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.
My wife and I went with our two sons and their wives to celebrate the last night of vacations. We ordered a bunch of the "little plates" and were quite happy with the quality and quantity of the choices. Highly recommended.
Small plates were delicious and great service.
We had all the hallmarks of a great restaurant experience.
Greeted promptly, friendly unobtrusive service, the service Taft worked as a cohesive team. Food was hot, delicious and on point!
Considering a giant thunderstorm came through the area creating chaos for outdoor seating. Sitting inside was fantastic experience highly recommend!
Excellent food with nice presentation. Service was superb. Tapas style allowed us to sample several different dishes.
Everything we had was excellent! Small plates so you can try a lot of things! My husband wanted to try the octopus but we had ordered so much I told him we didn’t need it, our server brought it for us anyway free of charge so he could try it, very nice! Loved the watermelon salad, bacon biscuit, edamame hummus, and fried chicken. We will definitely be back!
The food and staff were fabulous including the manager , waiter, and chef. We had several of the Tapas selections which were all great and our martini drinks were excellent! We will be back!
Wow! We have not eaten here in years and this was a great experience. All the small plates we had were great. We had 6 - cauliflower empanadas were fantastic - and there were several others we did not get try.
The outdoor patio is delightful. Perfect place for summer dining.
Can’t wait to return!
The menu has changed since the last time we were at Lenora. We had about 7 different small plates that were all delicious and innovative. The service was excellent. We will definitely return to Leonora the next time we are in Vail.
Very much enjoyed the experience. Plates were creative and delicious. Great selection and nice that they would add an additional piece or two to servings. Excellent wine list appropriate to cuisine. Only complaint was that with very few tables occupied, what should have been a quiet dining experience was marred by a waitperson who, while quite friendly, was extremely loud and could be heard throughout the restaurant while conversing with other diners. A bit annoying!!
We enjoyed a business dinner for 7 people on a Friday night. It was difficult to find inside the hotel, and not very busy. A shame really, because our experience was very nice. The service was attentive, the food was incredibly well executed, and there was a comfortable ambiance. There were a few details that could have been better attended to such as providing serving utensils with the shareable dishes. As a business traveler and foodie, I feel that Leonora compares to fine dining establishments in any large city.
Wonderful tapas menu and great cheese board. The food was good and the portions were decent sized. I would highly recommend Leonora to anyone.
Great food and service. Love the ambiance too! We come back here every year we ski in Vail!
It was just ok. The drinks were good. The waiter was knowledgeable about wine. We ordered several tapas- papas fritas were steak cut fries - the sauce was great. Where I come from - papas fritas come in a small skillet, potatoes cut smaller with seasonings. The bread had to be ordered separately and it was just ok. The caviar that was on the menu- could not be ordered at the table - somewhere else in the hotel you could get it. The short rib was dry and when we asked for more sauce- we got a little bit of an attitude. The farro was good, the fideo was good but it should have come with pieces of salami. The scallops were also decent and the pollo empanadas were the best thing we ordered. We didn’t stay for dessert.
The restaurant has an ambitious menu but the chef can not execute it. We sent 2 out of 5 dishes back because they were inedible. The other 3 were fair.
Awesome thanks for the best dinner in Vail.
medium rare steak was well done
raspberry cake could not be cut with a fork. they did not charge for the desert which was good.
good atmosphere hostess was very nice the rest was ok not what is expected at a luxury property's restaurant
Food was very disappointing. Tuna tapas tasteless. Salmon very ordinary. Cauliflower disappointment. Overpriced for the tasteless food!
Wonderful restaurant. Great food. Located in an extremely beautiful and stylish hotel in Vail.
Food was great! Service was excellent! Hidden gem in the village!
Great service, fun menu selection for sharing. Would have liked for the small plates to serve 4 instead of 3 bites...however food was very good and enjoyed the varied selection.
The food was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant. We loved the Tapas menu style. We were a party of three but we ordered 4 apps, a cheese plate, and two entrees. (Price - not cheap, but fair for food of this quality in Vail)
Great food with a Spanish twist. The service was great too. But, the prices are high, courtesy of Vail.
Great food, drinks and atmosphere
Excellent food tapas style
Very pleasant surroundings
Excellent and friendly service
(But I would not pay for the bread unless you are are assured that it’s fresh that day and even then I’m not sure it’s worth it. Basically it’s like any bread you get in restaurant but ours was stale and they charge $10 for half a small loaf and $18 for the full small loaf )
Food was excellent! And our server Ferris was fantastic. His knowledge and professional demeanor made our experience great. Thank you!
Define tapas. Coming from Europe you would expect small plates with Spanish specialties. Tho was not the case here. We’ve been recommended 3-4 plates per person, and the amount of food was enormous. If it at least was tasty... Chef’s fried chicken was a huge portion of deep fried pieces in sweet kind of pastry. Everything we ordered was oily, except the risotto which was very good and would have been enough for the two of us. And why do you ask how we would like our lamb pops to be cooked if you don’t bother about the answer?
Great food and service!!!
Service, price and atmosphere did not meet food quality. Food was good but when I commit to a nice dinner and expect to pay $200 plus for a party of two I expect the wait staff to be staffed appropriately, take their time explaining a complex menu and cater to the customer. None of these things happened during our visit. The wait staff was rushed, rude and would have been better suited for a Denny’s. Good news was that the food was good. The Sebastian Hotel should rethink who they partner with because Leonora was disappointing to be attached to such a high end, boutique hotel experience.
It was so fun to order many different dishes and share! Each dish was nicely prepared and absolutely delicious. The ambiance was perfect and the staff was attentive!
