   Mother’s Day buffet brunch! So delicious. We had a large party reservation and they treated so wonderfully, had a whole separate room set aside for us and kept drinks and service going promptly. Lovely servers and best buffet brunch we’ve enjoyed in a long time.

   Service was great and all employees were very friendly. Restaurant itself was clean and pleasant. The only negative was the price, which was very high for breakfast. Would not eat here again.

   Easter brunch was a HUGE miss. $75 per person for dried out ham, cold bacon and sausage and a variety of pastries. My wife first tried the eggs benedict from the buffet and after not being able to cut the English muffin with her knife we asked for a steak knife. Even with a steak knife the bread was so rubbery that it would NOT cut. We had to order it fresh. The only food we enjoyed was the eggs we ordered fresh. I thought maybe the “fresh baked pastries” would redeem our experience but the carrot cake was the driest I’ve ever had. When I put my fork in it, it just crumbled. In hindsight we should’ve skipped Easter menu and just ordered off the regular menu. Buffet was below subpar and because the restaurant was fairly empty, there wasn’t much turnover on the food so it ended up just sitting there and getting dried out or over cooked. Service was so slow that “bottomless mimosas” were not worth it. Managed to sit there for 1.5 hours and only get 2 mimosas. Total with tax and tip (which they automatically include 20%) came to over $250. We don’t mind paying $275 for brunch but we expect to have excellent food and service.

    I was looking for a place to take my dad for his 60th birthday, we were able to get a last minute reservation for Leonora and the experience did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was outstanding in taste and presentation. Our waiter, Lance, was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond for an exceptional dinner making great recommendations for food and drink. Leonora is definitely added to our restaurant list for whenever we return to Vail, and we will recommend to anyone.

    The wait staff was not focused or organized from the very first stop at the table. The wrong wine was brought, some of the food plates not attractive or tasty, and the main 2 dishes, lobster and seafood fettucine was small and not worth the $68. The Norwegain salmon dish for $48 ws small, salty and hardly a top end main course. Our only dish liked were the brussel sprouts. Overall the place needs a lot of fixing before i would go back and not suggest it for any friends or family.

    We made a last minute reservation for 8 of us and they were very accommodating. Our table was beautiful and the food was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was great but we also had other weight staff coming in and out to check on us and bring us additional items, Felt very well taken care of. The mac and cheese was amazing!

    Restaurant inside the Sebastian which is a Really beautiful hotel in Vail. Very tasty tapas. Huge wine selection. Brought friends here from another state and they were impressed. Lance was our host/server and was professional, accommodating but most of all attentive, but not annoyingly. All in all a great time with friends and family. You won’t be disappointed with Lenora or the Sebastian.

    We made a reservation though Open Table, got reminded and ask for confirmation, when we arrived the restaurant does not open on Mondays… not sure how they have the incorrect information about schedule. The star rates does not reflect our experience as we weren’t able to dinner there. We will try next time in Vail.

    Calamari was way too over fried and breaded with very little calamari, lamb, lollipops, heavily, over, seasoned, tiniest, charcuterie board I’ve ever seen, and cheese was stale, service was excellent. Staff is great nice ambience, but definitely not worth the prices for the quality of food that being said we went to Ludwig’s in Vail the night before and we were absolutely blown away!

    Dinner at Leonora was an unexpected pleasure. Service was attentive, and the tapas-style menu suited our party of six, whose tastes ran the gamut. Our server Lance steered us well, with colorful and accurate descriptions of the food, and he successfully tempted us to try a few items that hadn’t jumped out at us initially.     The overall experience was fair. Our waitress was very attentive, she gets a star for that. I have 2 main complaints, thus 3 stars. The food took a bit long time to get to the table, but the problem was that out appetizers (4 plates) arrived one by one every 5-10 minutes. Then our entrees did the same thing (4 entrees) arrived one by one every 10 minutes! We ate at different times! Which was ridiculous. The second compliant is about the service charge (tip) enforced at 22% (we where 2 adults and 4 minors) that they clearly didn't deserve. I would have been confortable paying 15% because of the kitchen tardiness, but not 22%. I did not say anything because my wife and kids hate when I complain about anything on a restaurant, so this is me complaining. I would go back but I'd be a bit more demanding on service. The food tasted very good.

    The best reason to go to Leonora, besides the food and setting is the service one receives from Makenna. She's helpful, efficient and jolly. She made our evening special.

    Our server was great, but it took way too long for the dishes to come out. The shrimp was bland and focaccia bread a little disappointing. Brussels sprouts were fantastic and lamb shank worth ordering again.

    Beautiful restaurant at the Sebastian Hotel in Vail with a menu based on Spanish tapas fusion. The food was excellent, but the service between the different tapas took a long time. Very nice wine list.
