Passover meal. All good.
Glass had lipstick on it. Staff was friendly. Food was good. A bit overpriced.
Lenny's has always been good when you want a good deli meal. I enjoyed my stuffed cabbage and it was served hot and delicious. One of my friends had a problem with her matzobrie which was sent back twice because it was not hot. Otherwise, we enjoyed our meal.
Hostess was rude
It’s a great place
Great place for Latkes during Hannukah! Close to Metro Westwood stop.
Great service!! Great breakfast!
The service was horrible. The waitress made mistakes at every opportunity. Our drink order was wrong.... she let us keep our drinks, brought us the correct drinks, but charged us for the more expensive drinks that we didn’t order. Also charged us for an extra drink we didn’t order at all. She brought us a full sandwich when we ordered a half sandwich. Then she charged us for the full sandwich. She was reluctant to change the bill, for some reason. “Oh, I will take off one of the drinks to account for the full price sandwich.” Why not just fix the bill? I sent her back twice to fix the bill, and in the end, I was still overcharged by about $2. But it just wasn’t worth sending her back a third time. It was late, the restaurant was not crowded, and this shouldn’t have been happening. The service ruined it for me.
We were a large party of 8 so it was great to all sit together in a booth. I believe everyone was happy with their meal.
Always great service. Quality food. Wide ranging menu. Like a East Coast diner meets an East Coast deli.
Split a generous turkey sandwich enough for 2 after a movie @ the Landmark. Good service.
Always enjoy the food at Lenny’s. Service was spotty — hard to get someone to refill water and iced tea. And, bathroom could have used some cleaning during my visit.
The senior menu was a great surprise for us! The bowl of soup was filled with chicken and vegetables as well as a large kreplach! The stuffed cabbage and side salad (coleslaw) was delicious! On top of all this with a Landmark ticket we both got a large piece of cake for dessert for free! What a bargain at 15 a person!!
After so many times going to Lenny's, this was the first time that food was not right and service was not the one we always get with Daniel.
Why didn’t I get my points!!!!
We have dined here many times, in it's Junior's days through to it's Lenny's incarnation. This last experience was rather disappointing. Service was adequate but a bit slow. Even the pickles weren't as good as usual! We had the turkey loaf dinner, and it tasted more like the bread crumbs it was made with than any turkey. Barely edible. It came with a cupful of gravy, enough for a whole turkey. Even though it was promoted as a healthy option, it came with the cupful of gravy and rice, but not veggies instead (or as an option). The matzo ball soup was just okay. This is not the quality deli we used to enjoy and come to expect.
Service was exceptional - we were well taken care of. This was a busy night as it was the first night of Passover but my reservation was honored and our table was ready. All went well - food was delicious.
Lenny's is consistently great deli food. During a Sunday brunch time, service was excellent and attentive. Three of us enjoyed egg dishes. One of us had pancakes and commented, "not the best." However, the ambience allowed us to spend time leisurely eating and talking and catching up with friends.
Awesome pastrami and potato pancakes, as always.
Good, solid, comfort food with wide selection. Perfect if your in the diner mood or deli mood. Yum!
Lenny's Deli omelet was runny. Waiter forgot to bring me my beverage until I reminded him. Not a great successor to Junior's
The service was abysmal. We were asked to wait to be seated, but after several minutes seated ourselves. No coffee; no menus & no server for 12 minutes until we flagged him down.
They did not make the food as we ordered it & had to grab someone to get the check.
All while the restaurant was half empty.
Not as good as they used to be.
Expensive for what it is! Not very clean! Food so-so!
Miserable service, looked unclean, sandwich bread hard. Very disappointing.
We enjoyed our meal. Soup was delish with a generous amount of carrots and chicken. We ordered two pastrami sandwiches but the amounts in both sandwiches was inconsistent. One had a much larger proportion of meat! Food was tasteful and we will return.
Waitress forgot an order entirely. One order was wrong. Out of another order. Food took forever. Will never come back.
Great food, good variety and good service, nice place to have dinner and friends gathering
Went for Thanksgiving meal; was very tasty, good portion, dessert came with, but no beverage.
Great food, Superb service and good prices !!!!! It is worthy to eat there !!!! Good menu selection and variety ....
Very nice waiter! Pleasant surroundings, food was served in timely manner and 😊
It was fine. No more no less. The food was ok, slow service, and not too busy of a place.
This place has sadly gone downhill since it was Junior's. Food is really not as good as it used to be. Our orders were almost all wrong. The servers are really nice... it's not just not their fault that things are not running smoothly. Maybe the new owners will figure out the problems.
Worst experience after twenty plus years of dining here /juniors will never return . Place has gone way down hill . Food and service poor management doesn't care .
Great food and good service !!!! It is worthy to drive long distance to get the food you want.
Lenny's is a good place for breakfast -- and also for late night dining after the movies. We've been going there for years and love it. Also, there's lots of convenient parking.
Been here a bunch of times because of its location. It's an average deli there are many that are better. Ambiance is seriously lacking.
Good service and a great selection and variety on the menu, including Mexican deli! We were not rushed and were able to spend hours visiting with our friends in a comfortable booth. We have enjoyed both dinner and brunch at Lenny's.
This deli looks promising with a nice display of pastries and foods in the glass cases when you walk in. The menu has all the traditional favorites such as matzoh ball soup, chopped liver, blintzes, stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes, knishes, lox, whitefish, herring in cream sauce, noodles with pot cheese, and much more. The food just didn't taste the way it does if you grew up eating it. The matzoh balls resembled bland, processed, nondescript dumplings. The chopped liver lacked flavor and texture. Waitstaff didn't know when to take dishes away or when to bring individual plates for shared appetizers. Prices are a little high, too, for what you get.
Excellent pastrami sandwich. Excellent stuffed cabbage. Hit the spot.
